Set in Victorian era England, in a time of worry for anyone not native to the country, 2 immigrant families from South Korea prepare their daughters to find a suitable husband to bring them out of potential poverty. With both familes settled in middle class areas and with just enough income to stay heads above water, their teenage daughters try hard not to let their true feelings come to light whilst trying to keep their families in the comfortable life they have become accustomed to. It seems their hearts may win as families collide, mix and make connections that their hearts have desired all along.
