Oblivious

Description

Hoseok as a werewolf tries really hard to work in a business where most if not all his staff were humans who didn't understand. Problem was his new assistant, a vampire, wasn't all that thrilled to work with a werewolf despite Hoseok's excitment to work with Zixin.

Foreword

Zixin barges into the man's office ignoring the clear  you energy pouring off of him. The older-looking man had golden cat-like eyes, currently glaring holes into Zixin's head and smaller feminine features that were currently set into a stank face. Zixin wasn't sure if all gumiho looked this way or this was just a him thing. This man was the one who helped arrange the Sponsors with employees of the agency. Therefore it was Ryu Yonghee's fault that she was now employed to a werewolf. Typically there was supposed to be a meeting to allow both parties to agree to it. Yonghee had decided that Zixin had been here long enough more than likely. Zixin had arrived here as a teenager now was thirty years old.

"I take it this is about your new contract?"

Zixin glares but doesn't speak. She knew what would happen if she did speak. Yonghee would simply have more ammo against her.

"What a shock. Zixin doesn't speak," Yonghee scoffs, "Mister Lee is very excited that you said yes. Now how about instead of whining about how you didn't meet up with him you be grateful that I didn't let you go and risk frying in the sunlight."

Zixin's glare softens as her confusion grew. He wanted to meet during the day even though he knew what she was or was this Yonghee messing with her again? There had been a few idols she'd nearly signed with that Yonghee really messed with her head over in the past.

"Now unless you want to walk into the direct sunlight you'll need to get used to me making these decisions. Not that I trust you to understand the weight of such a decision."

She crosses her arms looking to the side. Zixin would never get used to this. Yonghee did however have a point. Sunscreen worked as long as it was the highest proof and Zixin wasn't in direct sunlight. When she first came to South Korea, Zixin had to tell Yonghee all about vampires since vampires weren't a thing native to South Korea then he questioned her on why she wasn't like the ones they heard of. Of course, that meant telling him about her being mixed. Somehow that lead to such a lovely conversation about Chinese mother and Korean father which of course led to a further topic on her actual species. Zixin tried to block it at that. She hated when people tried to say she could be a hybrid or something. Those aren't real. Humans made them up.

"You'll be living in a building near him. I expect you to be up and ready to meet him in three days. I believe he's promoting an album."

"How am I supposed to help him if he goes on tour?"

"At least she speaks! ...none of your business. Did you forget what I taught you? You have a contract, all that matters is that you keep your Sponsor happy for as long as needed."

Zixin glares at him once more.

"Enough. You're an adult, act like it. Now go be a big girl and get ready to move in. You have an envelope in your room with everything you need. Go. Get out of here. Don't mess this up cause I'm not letting you back in here."

Zixin found herself teleported outside of the room. No doubt from Yonghee's own doing.
