                “You don’t understand….I can't go to you like that…” You looked at Siwon who’s now

sitting on the couch on the other side of the room. You’re done crying. It’s really sad knowing what

happened.  You just found out that the one sided love you thought you had with him was a hoax. It

was not an unrequited love after all. It’s just the two of you were stupid enough to do the first

move.

 

                “You just had what, more than a month with him? The relationship you have is not yet

that deep. It’s not yet late to come out of it…” His voice is promising and convincing.

 

                “It’s not about the time I had with him Siwon…..I love him..”

 

He came near you and cupped your face on his hands. He stares straight to your eyes.

 

                “But you love me too right? Let’s not make it hard for the both of us…I’m done keeping

what I truly feel and I don’t want to live like that anymore…I love you and I won’t let you go

now…”

 

                “I loved you and that’s true…but that’s in the past…Jaejoong is the one I love now…I

really love him  and I won’t leave him…not even for you…I’m sorry Siwon sshi….”

He let go of your face. Siwon’s eyes became teary.  You are sure that he got hurt with what you

said.

 

                “You’re not in a good shape now..I think you’ll never say things like that if you have

your memory…”

 

                “_____....” He tried to hold you again but you avoided it and walk to the door.

 

                “I don’t think you could still stay….I’ll call auntie to tell her that you’ll go home.” You

didn’t bother to look at him and just walk out of that room.

                “You don’t like your food?” Jaejoong says because he noticed that you hardly touch your food.

                “I just don’t feel like eating…”

                “Are you sick?” he says in a worried tone.

                “No I’m fine…I’m just tired today.”

                “Do you want to go home now?”

                “Just finish your food…”

                “I lost my appetite..”

                “I’m sorry.”

                “You don’t have to..let’s go.” He grabs your jacket and purse then assist you to stand.

 

 

He tucked you to bed. He’s about to leave but you grabbed his sleeve.

 

                “Don’t leave….stay with me..”

 

He didn’t say anything but after a few minutes decided to lie beside you. He put his arm below

your head while the other one around you.

 

                “Where’s Siwon?” he asks.

                “He came back home.” You don’t want to think more about Siwon so you close your eyes.

                “I’m sorry I ruined our dinner…”

                “It’s okay…just make it up on me after two days..”

                “What’s in two days?”

                “We’ll go on a special date…”

                “Hm. I want to go on a date with you…” you buried your head on his neck and hug him back.

                “Good night.” He said then kissed your hair.

                “Siwon sshi..why are you here?” you were surprise to see him at your office lobby.

                “I know we didn’t part well the last time…I’m here to make peace…are you still mad at me?”

                “Why would you think I’m mad at you?”

                “Then why didn’t you answer my calls?”

                “Just needed time to think..”

                “Let’s have a talk okay? Don’t avoid me like this…”

You gave him a simple smile.

 

 

 

Jaejoong’s POV

Sorry I have to cancel our coffee…

Something came up at work so I need to work over time…

I’ll call you later.

 

 

He’s almost at the coffee shop near ____’s office where the two of them decided to meet when he

received her text message. He sighed after reading it and decided to go back to his office when his

eyes caught two people sitting on a table near the counter.  It’s ____ with Siwon. They are

laughing together.

 

Did she just lie at him? What’s happening? He tried to be patient for not telling her that he knows

that Siwon confessed his feeling for her even though it drives him mad with jealousy. She’s not

mentioning anything about that to him. Was she upset because Siwon left her house and came back

home? He’s starting to have doubts now.

 

“You need to be careful man…she loved that guy for a long time. His wife died so that means, he’s available again and you got a competition. “

 

Siwon’s POV

 

 

                “Mom…what happened to ____ and I?” he asks his mom as they drink tea.

                “What do you mean?”

                “I mean, why we didn’t end up together?”

                “That’s a big question for us too…We always thought that you’ll marry someday…but

you met Han Byul anyway…”

                “Who’s Han Byul?”

 

He watches as his mother’s expression change. She turned pale. Something is wrong and he could

feel it.

 

                “Mom please tell me. What exactly happened before the accident?”

 Your POV

 

 

You came early today. You made yourself comfortable on the chair and your phone rang.

 

                “I just got here. Where are you?” You said as you answered the phone.

                “I'll be there in five minutes...” Jaejoong responded.

                “I'll just order us some food so hurry up okay?”

                “See you..”

 

You open the menu and scan over the list thinking what to order when you got another call. This

time it's Siwon.

 

                “Siwon sshi?”

                “Who's Han Byul?”

You got nervous as you hear him say that name.

                “Siwon sshi...”

                “Just tell me the truth..I need to know what happened.” His tone is blank and cold and it

made you worried.

                “Okay...I'll tell you so let's meet now...where are you? I'll go there just wait for me.”

 

After that you grab your things and send a message to Jaejoong.

From: Me

 

Something important happened and I have to go.

Please wait me up for an hour and I'll go back right away.

                “Siwon sshi, this is Han Byul...your wife...”

 

You watched at his face to see any expression but there's nothing there. He was just looking at the

tomb.

                “You just got married two months ago...then, the accident happened and she died.”

                “The person on the same car as me that night is her?”

You nodded gently. He put his head on his hands and you tried to comfort him.

                “Everything is crazy....I just woke up one day and found out everything is not the

same..The woman I love is in love with some other guy, I got married with a woman I don't

even remember and she died without me seeing her face.”

                “I'm sorry....”

He embraced you and you felt some hot liquid dropped on your shoulders.

                “I don't know what to believe...Why is this happening to me?!”  His voice is trembling so

you hug him back.

                “Don't worry...You still have me. I'm here for you and I'll always be....”

Jaejoong's POV

 

 

It's already late and she's not yet at home. Her phone was off so he couldn't contact her. He

decided to leave the restaurant after three hours of waiting. He went straight to her house but the

lights are off. He waited patiently on his car parked on a distance.

 

Then a taxi stopped and _____ descends followed by Siwon. They were still talking when he came

near them and he just grab ____ by the arm and pulls her away.

 

                “Jaejoong sshi!” ____ was startled by his action.

                “Jaejoong sshi...my arm, your hurting me....” but still he didn't listen.

                “Wait...let her go.” Siwon said but he ignored it. He catches up on them.

                “I said, let her go.” Siwon's hand holds on the same arm. Jaejoong was so pissed off that

he dismissed Siwon's hand. An instant tension fired up between them.

                “Siwon sshi please..just go..please..” _____ asked him.

 

Siwon started to be pissed off too but chose to give what you asked for. After the taxi had taken

him away, _____ freed her arm from Jaejoong's grasp.

 

                “Why did you do that?”

                “I don't know you tell me what's really happening here.” he couldn't hide his irritation.

                “Jaejoong...”

                “You know I was waiting for you...Am I that weak to be kicked out?!” He shouted. His

voiced thundered over the place.

                “Wha...?”

                “I know everything. How he told you that he loves you. When do you plan on telling me that?”

                “That was...”

                “When you canceled meeting me, you were with him. How about that?”

She was just staring at him with wide eyes.

                “Tell me, until when should I ignore it?!”

                “It's already late. I don't think you'll listen to me now. Let's just call it a night and we'll

talk in the morning.” She tries to turn her back but he was too fired with jealousy and she didn't

even try to appease him.

                “Are you cheating on me now?” he said that out of frustration.

                “The man just lost his wife for Christ's sake!” she turned back to him in a higher tone.

She lost her patience too.

                “Why can't you give me a little more of your trust?!” her eyes narrowed and she heave a

sigh before entering her house.

 

Jaejoong's jaws clenched and he breathe harshly.
