New Beginning
It Started with a Wedding
Your POV
You opened the window on your side and make your eyes amazed by the sea. You took a deep
breath and let your lungs be filled with the fresh air of Busan.
“Agasshi, are you here for vacation or work?” the taxi driver asked her.
“Both..” you enjoy your ride talking with the nice driver..After an hour of travel you finally
reached your destination. Once you got al your bags from the taxi you decided to press the
doorbell of the white gate in front of you.
“Are you Ms. _________?" The ajumma who opened the gate asked you before you could
even greet.
“Ah, yes that’s me..”
“Come in, Madam is waiting for you..” she helps you with some of the bags. You followed
the woman. The place has a great landscape. The big house is in the middle of the garden. The
door opened even before you reach it. The person you’re looking for is there giving a nice smile.
“_________ ah”!
“Auntie!” you gave her a hug.
“What took you so long? I told you that I would send a someone to pick you up right?”
“There’s no need…After all, it’s not really that hard to find your house.” You entered the
house and the woman tells the ajumma to bring your stuffs upstairs in the room they prepare for
you.
“I’m really glad that you finally visit me.” As both of you sit on the sofa.
“I told you once I cleared my schedule then I would”
“Yes that’s right..You really need a vacation..It seems that you became thin than the last
time I saw you.” Aunt Mi Kyoung said while filling her glass with orange juice.
“Auntie, you have a nice house. It’s much better than you described it to be”. You said
after taking a sip from the glass.
“Ah, about that? I like re-decorating the house since I have lots of time.”
You put a blue colored paper bag on the coffee table.
“I bought you something I hope you would like it.”
“Aigoo, this girl…you don’t have to.” Surprise is all over the woman’s face.
“It’s not that much Auntie. I just though I couldn’t go here empty handed.”
“You’re really sweet…” The woman gently pat you hands.
Then you heard someone coming so you turn around.
“Omma! I’m here!” You saw a pretty lady standing there. She’s wearing a school uniform.
“Oh, Seohyun ah…” Aunt greets the lady.
“___________ ah, this is my daughter Seohyun, Seohyun this is _________ the guest
that I’m talking to you about.” Aunt introduced you to each other.
“Hi _________ unni! I’m Seohyun. Welcome to our house!” Seohyun looks excited as she
sits on the sofa in front of you.
“Hello Seohyun. Nice to meet you” You smile at her.

You sit on the bed and look around the room. A smile draws to your face because you were
satisfied with what you see. You decided to grab your bag and unpack. Yes, you’re here for a
vacation. You met Aunt Han Mi Kyoung in a charity event back in Seoul more than a year
ago. Both of you were volunteers on a foundation for kids. Aunt Mi Kyoung is a nice person.
She has this aura on her that makes you comfortable and that makes you closer to her than
to any other volunteers there. You enjoy having a chat with her. She often talks about her
daughter and son, her house and life in Busan. After that you often see each other
whenever there’s an event. She always invite you to have a vacation on her house
and you just can’t find a time in your schedule but now. You bring out your laptop and
carefully placed it at the top of the study table. It’s been a month since you open it. Yes,
there’sa problem. You just can’t write..your mind is so blank and whenever you try to type
in something, nothing comes good. This is the first time you experienced it and you’re
starting to worry. Before anyone could noticed this you decided to take a leave from work
and this is the only place that comes to your mind. You’re hoping that this vacation will
help you to get in touch with your ideas again. To be able to write a new chapter for your
new beginning…..
