Taemin’s nightmares had been occuring more frequently than usual. The younger would often dream of his failures or what he thought was failures and this would result in him rumbling around in bed, muttering to himself. Tonights dream must have been particularly bad because the younger was crying in his sleep. 

Minho couldn’t do it any longer. He couldn’t stand to see his bestfriend so upset and unable to enjoy a peaceful rest. Without making any noise so as not to wake the rest of his group members, he crawled out of his own bed and straight into Taemin’s, immediately pulling the younger boy into his warm arms. 

It took a moment but with a few hushed words of comfort and of his long brown hair, Taemin settled and was able to sleep peacefully in the arms of Minho who fell asleep shortly after. 

The younger boy awoke resting on a warm chest with strong arms wrapped around him. He opened his eyes slowly and looked up to reveal a sleeping Minho, snoring quietly. His cheeks began to heat up with embarassment as his brain processed the situation. 

‘Minho?’ Taemin mumbled sleepily, causing his bestfriend to stir. ‘What are you doing in my bed?’ 

‘You were having another nightmare.. I just wanted to comfort you. I’m sorry.’ Minho replied groggily. 

‘Thank you..’ Taemin smiled softly as he leaned up to place a sweet kiss onto Minho’s cheek. 

‘Anything for you, Tae.’ The taller male smiled as he ruffled Taemin’s bed hair.
