Lee Jaijin met Kim Jaeduck in middle school. The two became friends after they discovered their common interest in dancing. Both got scouted by DSP to be in a group to rival H.O.T who just debut a few months ago. It was after their debut that Jaijin and Jaeduck started to become more distant.

"Hey, Jaijin. You have time?"

"Not now!"

"Okay... I'll ask you later."

After Jaeduck got into an accident with Tony An, Jaijin began to distant himself from Jaeduck even more due to his change in personality.

"Jaeduck. You got a minute?"

He asked in a friendly way only to get coldly stared at by who he thought was Jaeduck.

"Okay... Maybe later."

That made him more scared by each passing day. They were friends. When did they started to be apart from each other? That was the first time he ever questioned their friendship.
