It took her that one second to just realize what was happening to her.
She knew she shouldn't have acted so rashly.
Now the person who's suffering from the consequences is no one else but herself. 

She walked forward, towards the man she had once given up everything for.
She wanted to touch him. Hell she wanted to hold him but she couldn't.
If she did, what would that make her?

He didn't even look like he gave a damn.

She sighed as she looked up to the cold blue sky hoping that that warm hand by her would take her by surprise.
