Nothing To Say
Description
Foreword
There's a killer that is rated as the number eleventh cause of death in the world. In the United States alone, it's the second killer right after heart attack. Pancreatic cancer is not only painful, but also claims the lives of 36,800 people in a year. New cases number about 43,140.
What do you say to someone who has it? How do you react knowing a loved one will die? Chances of survival are low: only 16-17% rate of surviving what is described as the most painful and deadliest cancer. Less than 5% patients that are diagnosed will still be alive five years after their diagnosis. Could you live on knowing the person you loved, cared for, and thought of was dying? At that deciding moment would you choose to watch them or would you drive yourself as faraway as possible, afraid to see how they arrived at Death's doorstep?
When the hour of the day becomes bleak, what would you say if you were in their shoes? In the end there's only one thing to really say: goodbye... Or is there?
In the end there's just...
Nothing to say.
