Winter's POV

"Ning, I don't want to go and be your a third wheel. Giselle invited you, not me. Also, I have to finish Orphan Black, I have 3 episodes left."

I know that Ningning will not let me stay home. She'll drag me to the party if she have to.

"You don't want me to dress you up do you? Please get ready!! If you don't.. I'll still go to that party and tell Karina everything. I'll tell her that you have-"

"Stop. Alright. I thought you promised that you'll not pressure me about this!?? Jeez, Ning. Be true to your words!" I said annoyingly.

"Of course. I just want to push you a little bit because I know you. You won't make a move unless she's single. I don't mean that we need to crash relationships Win. You know that those two are not in love.. They're just together because it's what expected of them. Anyone can see that. Have you seen them that lovey dovey?? Have you even seen Rina kissed Jeno romantically?? No. So you have to be on the picture. Okay?"

Ningning is right. I've never seen Rina happy with him. The most genuine smile that I've seen from her was yesterday. She was happy.. with me. But still no one can just judge there relationship except them.

"How can we know that they're not happy with each other? I mean... maybe they're just not the romantic type of couple." I countered back while still sitting at the end of the bed. I'm still not convince to go to the party.

"Jesus! Winter! Not romantic? What about yesterday? Is Rina not that sweet for you? She held your hand.. She kissed you.. She pleaded for you to drive safe.. Isn't that sweet enough? Your just so stubborn.. Just please get ready!"

"Ningie.."

"You know what Gigi texted me..?"

Ning handed me her phone to read Gi's text.

'Hey pretty girl! We want to hang out with you and Winter. Rina is coming with me at Lucas' Party. He invited everyone at school. We didn't get a formal a formal invite but everyone will be there. We hope to see you both! xoxo 😘'

"So Rina do want to see me?" I murmured to myself. Jeez. Karina may have also shared to Giselle what happened yesterday the same way I shared things with Ningning.

"Hell yes! Finally!" Ning shouted and motioned me to just get ready.

Karina's POV

We just arrived at the party. It's still early but there are already a lot of drunk teenagers grinding at each other. The smell of alcohol and smoke already engulfing the area.

"Let's find them!" Gigi shouted in my ear as we cannot hear each other because of the loud music.

"Winter and Ning?" Giselle nodded.

I blushed at the thought of seeing Winter again tonight. Gi assured me that I really look hot.. I hope I get the same reaction from Winter. God. I do like her a lot.

"Gi!!" We heard someone shouted Giselle's name. 

Oh god. It must be them. I turn around and there she is.. She really looks adorable being dragged by her best friend. We both met each others eyes the same time. I smiled at her widely. I must have look like a sick-love puppy waiting to be pick up by her master.

"Hi.." I said barely above whisper to Winter.

"Hey.." She said while hugging her left arm to her right arm caressing it back and forth.. She's looking everywhere except my eyes.

"I'm here you know.." I said back waiting for her to look at me. She chuckled and she was about to say something when Ningning excitedly put her arm around Winter's shoulder and whispered at her.

"Jeez! Ning!" I giggled at her reaction to what Yizhuo just told her.

"So.. You two.. gorgeous ladies will be our partners tonight. We'll have each other's back so no one gets drunk and wasted. It's that okay?" Ning asked both Giselle and I.

"Yes ma'am!" Gi answered back excitedly.

"Wait who's gonna be each other's drink buddies?" Gi questioned.

"Hmmmm.." Ning thought for awhile.

"Ning.. Stop being crazy again.." Winter look at her like Ningning's planning something that would get us in trouble. I find it really cute how Winter is trying to read Ning's mind.

"Well! Winter has her car... and Giselle has hers .. correct?"

"Yes.. Gi drive us both here.." I answered.

"Great! Then the one driving shouldn't drink. I'll get home with Giselle.. and you Rina with Winter." As she wiggled her eyebrows to the three of us.

"That's okay for me!" Gi shouted eagerly. Of course she's excited at that. She'll get to see how drunk Ning can be.

"Winter is that okay with you? Because if you wish to drive Ningning home.. It's okay. I'll stay with-"

"No, No! It's okay! I don't want to drive this crazy lady.. I would choose you in a heartbeat... I mean .. Also.. Aah.. Ning went to this party to hang out with Giselle.. So yeah." I giggled at Winter's ramble of words. She's just so cute and y at the same time.

"OKAY!! I think that's that! Bye you too.. Like what Winter said.. I like to hang out with Gi... So Rina.. I'll snatch your best friend for the mean time okay? You can have mine as well so it's fair." She winked at Winter and I.

My cheeks turned warm at that. Indeed Ningning is something else.

Winter's POV

"Sorry about that.. Ning's a little crazy.. Oh.. Not a little.. She's totally crazy." Rina giggled to what I just said as she hook her right arm on my left arm. I shivered at our sudden closeness. Rina is just the affectionate type so I shouldn't get my hopes high.

"No. You too are cute. I like how you two tease each other. Gigi and I are kind of like that so I know how troublesome it can be." Rina put a light pressure on my arm telling me that it's really okay. I like being close to her. Being touch by her. But then again. I shouldn't forget that she's straight and has a boyfriend. Speaking of the devil.

"Rina! Why didn't you text me? Come on! the guys are there." Jeno was about to grab Rina's hand to get her away from me when she spoke.

"No! I'm with Winter tonight.. She'll be driving me home. You know dad's rules with parties like this right? You cannot drive me home nor be close to me."

" your Dad's rule.. Come on!" Jeno grab Rina's arm hurtfully. That's when I put her behind me and grab a hold of his hand away from Rina's.

"Hey! Man! You're hurting her. She doesn't want to come, respect her decision especially her dad's." I stand in front of him and tugged Rina again gently at my back. I made a side glance at Rina's and asked her if she's okay. She just nodded and hold the hem of my black flannel.

"Why do you care!!?? She's my girlfriend!!" He shouted at me making his face nearer in mine. I can smell the alcohol in his mouth. I felt Rina flinch at his action. I tried to step back so Rina can have her distance if anything happens.

"Exactly, She's your girl and you're hurting her. That's not what boyfriends do." I answered him back calmly. I won't go in a verbal battle with someone who is intoxicated with alcohol.

"Winter.. Let's go. Please. We just leave. Please." Rina whispered still tugging the the back hem of my flannel. I nodded.

"Jeno, you can talk to Rina if you're sober enough to hold a rational conversation. But tonight just let her go." I asked him as calmly and nicely as possible.

"No! no! Karina!! If you don't come with me. I'll break up with you! Or I'll make this life a living hell!"

He was about to grab Rina's arm again when I instantly pinned him down to the ground and hurriedly bend his arm like what I did to Sungho two days ago. Now both baseball captains shared the same experience under my hand.

"If you continue being an .. I can just break your arm any second now. I'll let you go if you promise not to do anything stupid again. Please do yourself a favor not to be humiliated in front of these people." I whispered to his ears making every words sound and clear. He nodded.

"Good. Now you can just apologize to your girl and admit your mistake for tonight. Also, that you're just too drunk to control your emotions. Then everybody happy right?" He nodded.

"I'll help you stand and let things go. Alright?" He nodded again.

I stood up and held my hand to offer him help but he didn't accepted it. He stood up and apologized to Karina like we have agreed to. He stared at me for a few seconds while I felt Rina's hands tugging my flannel with her left hand and resting her right on my waist. Then Jeno walked away. The on
