Karina's POV

"Ningning.. I know you're mad at me. But please let me talk to Winter. Please.." I pleaded once again as we get out of the room.

"FOR WHAT? SO YOU CAN FEED HER WITH YOUR LIES!?"

"NO! God, no. You don't know why I've done this." I countered.

"HELL I CARE!! The fact that you hurt my best friend is enough reason for me to hate you! I don't care WHY did you do it Karina! She's hurting because of you, end of conversation.” With that Ningning left me standing in the hallway.

She's right, no amount of explanation can justify what I did. I decided to wait for Winter outside the room and skipped the next class. Since first period is the only class that I share with her and Ningning, this could be the right time. I tried to calm myself as I waited for Winter. The door opened and I saw her get out off the room.

"Um.. Hey.. Winter.. Can we.. Uh.. Can we talk?" She stared at me but my heart dropped. I tried to search the loving and caring look that I used to see from those brown eyes but there's none. Not even hate or anger. Nothing.

"Are you here to apologize?" She asked with no hint of emotion. This is not her and it's my fault. She just stared at me as she wait for my answer.

"Winter.. Don't be like this.. please.."

I pleaded feeling my knees getting weak as each seconds past. I feel like fainting as if all air in my lungs is being emptied by a pulling force. I needed to cry, so I did. I did in front of the emotionless girl in front of me. I let all the tears flow once again hoping that Winter would hold me and tell me that we can work things out. But she just looked away. For a split second I saw hesitation from her eyes. 

"Winter.. hey.. babe.." I tried to reach her but she just stepped back. Then she put that look on her face again like this situation doesn't bother her at all.

"If you want to apologize for what you.. I mean for what happened, I forgive you." She answered as she shrugged her shoulders. Why can't she just look at me and just shout at me or tell me that she hates me. I wanted her to hate me than to feel nothing at all from her.

"Karina, Let's just forget about it okay? You don't need to feel guilty. Like what Sungho said, you're curious and I did you a favor. Let's leave it like that." I can't believe what I'm hearing from her. This is not the person I knew. She isn't like this.

"No, please no.. you don't mean that.." I cried harder as I clenched my fist and put it on my chest. I can't breathe. 

"I can't.. I can't breathe.. Win-" I saw her eyes widen and hurriedly went to support my waist when darkness clouded my sight.

Winter's POV

"RINA! RINA! HEY! Karina!!" I tightly hold her waist and lifted both of her legs to cary her. I positioned my cheeks to her nose to feel if she's still breathing, "Hey Karina.... Open your eyes.. please.. I'll get you to the clinic okay?"

I ran to the clinic while carrying her bridal style. I can't panic right now.

"Nurse Jessie!" I didn't know what to do. I just laid Rina's body on the vacant bed near the door. I can't remove my eyes away from her. I can't even move myself.

"Hey.. What happened to her!?" Nurse Jessie came to my side as she examined her. She quickly put her fingers to check Karina's pulse. She was silent for one full minute and asked me again.

"Winter.. Tell me what happened? You have to help me in here." She asked as she clip a small device on Rina's index finger. She then checked her blood pressure. As she finished she quickly press the control button to move the head of the bed higher, putting Karina on semi sitting position.

"I.. I don't know.. she just fainted while we're.. I.." I tried to talk but I can't even complete my sentence still worried about Karina's condition.

"Did she hit her head?" She asked calmly.

"No.. She didn't.. We were talking.. and she was crying so hard.. then she said she can't breathe.. She.. She tried to reach for me.. then.. then.. She just fainted in my arms.. then we're here.."

"Alright.. Now you breathe.. I don't want you fainting too okay?" Nurse Jessie looked at me worriedly as she massage both of my shoulders.

"Don't worry.. She's okay. Her vital signs are good. It might just be because of the emotional stress." She added. That's what I wanted to here. I didn't realized that I'm already crying.

I sobbed as I sat to the chair near the bed. I held and kissed her hand affectionately murmuring for her to open her eyes.

"Stay with her I'll call her parents." I nodded to Nurse Jessie as she walked to her table.

"Winter.. hey.." I heard Karina's small voice and met her eyes. I kissed her hand again and rubbed it gently.

"You.. young lady.. won't cry and faint at me again.. understand?" I whispered while still planting soft kisses on her hand.

"Come here.." She asked while she bit her trembling lips and gently placed her free hand on my neck to kiss my forehead. I sat on the side of the bed then rested my head on her chest to feel her beating heart.

She's okay, thank God she's okay. I thought.

I snake both of my arms on her waist to hugged her tight as I rested my face on the side of her neck. 

"You scared me.." I whispered. 

"And I hurt you too." Karina countered breathlessly as she planted another kiss on my forehead. But I shook my head which is still resting on the crook of her neck.

"Let's talk about that some other time. You have to rest." I answered truthfully.

I don't want both of us to get too emotional again. I know that I have good control of my emotions but not her. She just fainted in front of me for God's sake.

"Okay." She mumbled her lips still gently placed on my forehead. I tried to move away from her when she tighten her grip. 

"Don't, please don't pull away. Stay here. Stay here, please." She pleaded as if I won't ever comeback. I snuggled a little bit more to kissed her neck and I felt her shivered. I lifted my head to look at her blushing face.

"I need to call your parents to tell them that I'll drive you home. They don't need to get out from work." I lifted both of my hands to wipe her tears. Rina mirrored the gesture to wipe mine. Now were sitt
