“Ate naman kasi, pinapakumplika mo naman yung situwasyon mo. Think of it like this, you have a mug, favorite mo yun and you always choose to use it sa lahat ng bagay. One day an accident happened, it breaks, shattered into many pieces, anong gagawin mo?”

“Lilikumin kase baka maapakan ng iba and masaktan sila?”

“Exactly, then?”

“Uhm, I-I’ll try to see if I can still save it and if not then I’ll keep na lang a piece of it tapos itatapon kona yung iba.”

“Why keep a piece of it?”

“’Cause that’s the only thing I have of what’s left sa mug kong yun, like what you said that’s my favorite mug Rina”

“Okay, so you keep it, that’s your choice, to keep something that is already broken that may or may not hurt you while keeping it. It’s a piece of something that’s already gone Ate. Why not look for a new one? There’s a ton of mug out there that do the same function and purpose.”

“But Rina, they don’t hold the same memory and familiarity as the mug I have before.”
