They are standing far from each other but close enough to hear the other's heavy breathing. Seunghyun is the first one to break the silence.

"I'm sorry."

Jiyong sighs heavily at that and closes his eyes in an attempt to stop himself from crying.

"It's okay."

He answers. He opens his eyes and a single tear escapes his eyes.

"We didn't say it was serious."

He wipes it immediately and smiles at Seunghyun but it doesn't reach his eyes.

"I'm still sorry."

Seunghyun looks down at his feet.

"Are you hurting?"

Jiyong asks. Seunghyun lifts his head upon hearing the question. He looks offended by it.

"What kind of question is that?"

Jiyong shrugs.

"It's just a question."

But Seunghyun can see right through him. He can see that he's still vulnerable and hurting despite his nonchalant behavior.
