Episode 6 : Words Kept Repressed

“Huarghh I’m so tired! That last question was so nasty! I kinda hate Math now” Doujima whined.

Sakura agreed with him, “It was hard, wasn't it?”

“Eh, really?” Yuta was dumbfounded.

Doujima grew annoyed and snickered, “Who asked you Yuta?”

“Heyaaa!!” Doujima greeted as the trio walked inside the student council's room.

“Hello!” Yuta greeted next.

“Welcome back from your deadly test,” Eunbi giggled.

Doujima played along, “Ah yeah, thanks. I can probably back up my grade with other subjects.”

Sakura was greeted with two expecting faces. One with a gray cloud above her head and one with the rainbow in her eyes, “Hello!” Eunbi smiled.

“Uh.. Hello”

‘Say, let's just say… this person who seems so happy to see me, I wish I could think of her as adorable’

“So next week we will hold a committee meeting. This is the last day of the test so let's rest for a bit,” Eunbi said.

“That's it for today then,” Kei finished.

The kids exchanged their formal thanks and yuta stood up. 

Stopping to ask Eunbi “Kwon senpai, what's happening with preparations for the culture festival play?”

Eunbi looked a bit down.

“Well you know….”

“We still don't have a script,” once again, Kei took the words out of Eunbi's mouth.

Doujima was astounded, “Are we supposed to write our own scripts?”

Kei took a deep breath, “Well they used to ask the literature club to do it. But now that club just reads and there are no writers.”

“Really?” 

Kei nodded at yuta’s remarks, “If we have no script, we will have to adapt a pre-existing story.”

Eunbi sighed, “It would be nice if we could put on something original.”

“Does anyone know who can write a story?” Eunbi jumped from sighing to being her usual energetic self.

Doujima shaked his head, “None of my friends can do that.”

“Me too,” Yuta said.

“Then what about you, Miyawaki san?”

Sakura was taken aback, “Well Uh… for me, I don't know anyone either.” She lied.

The committee said goodbye to each other and Sakura quickly ran away before Eunbi could say anything to her.

“Uh sorry I have to be quick. I got to do something!” And off she ran away~

Doujima and yuta just watched her while Eunbi was asking Kei to make sure the door was properly locked.

‘Do I know someone? Of course I do. Hyewon's novel, even if you ignored the fact that we're friends, I still think it's good. I bet she could write a play. If she did, it would be a play I want to see. But…’

“Didn't you say you had something to do?” Kei suddenly enters her peripheral vision.

Oh , Miyawaki get caught~

“Se..Senpai…”

“Is that a novel?” Kei asked.

“Didn't you go home with Kwon senpai?” Sakura tried to divert the topic.

“Nope. Our homes are in different directions. But this is good timing. I wanted to talk to you,” Kei smiled as she inserted a few coins into the vending machine.

“Did you write that?”

Sakura shakes her head, “No, my friend wrote this and she asked me to read it.”

“Ahh.. So how is it?”

“It is good,” Sakura said.

“So you do know someone who could write a play, but you said no just now,” Let's see how Sakura gonna handle this.

Sakura lowered her head, “I'm sorry.”

“Well then why didn't you say something? Even if you tell us, we won't force her to do it or something,” the senior took a sip of her hot chocolate.

“Because….” Little Miyawaki is speechless.

“Because You're worried about Eunbi?” Kei attacked.

“Huh? What are you saying?” *nervous

“There's no reason to worry about Kwon senpai isn't there? She'd be perfect as the lead or anything else” Sakura lied, Sakura a Pinocchio.

“True,” Kei nodded, walking to where Sakura was sitting. “With Eunbi, she will always do a perfect job.”

“Or not.”

Kei inched closer to whisper to Sakura, “Did you think I really believed that?” Her tone changed from soft to threatening.

“Kei senpai…”

“I know her. I'm always by her side. Eunbi's confidence and behaviour is just an act. She's probably struggling under the pressure in secret. But it's what she wanted. To become a student council president and now the play, she chose it on her own. But here you are, rejecting it. Do you intend to stand in her way?”

“Uhm… But then why does it have to be a play?” Sakura asked.

“The student council president from seven years ago,” Kei simply answered.

“Huh?”

“That's the reason why Eunbi insists on doing the student council play. Why don't you look into it?” Kei walked out the pantry.

“Senpai, don't you look at Eunbi and worry about her?”

“You don't have to worry about her. I'm there for her,” it was more a stern statement rather than a simple answer.

“You're not going to eat?” Yena was astounded.

“Ah, I got something to do first. You two go ahead,” Sakura lied and walked away.

“Did you forget something?” Hako sensei asked her.

“Ah yeah. I'll bring it right back once I get it,” Sakura reaffirmed.

Ironically, all the past years files were there. Except for one. One she's looking for. There's a loop in between the files, somehow questionable.

“Huh?”

‘Hmm… Seems like it was taken out for some reason. Just the papers from seven years ago..’

The words from Kei senpai resound in her head, 'The student council's from seven years ago. That's the reason why Eunbi insists on doing the student council play’

But then her search brought out nothing.

‘Could it be Kei senpai the one who took the files?’

Sakura had the instinct to look around and Hyewon was stumped upon accidentally locking eyes with her friend.

She quickly went back to note writing. Or so we thought.

“Sorry I didn't notice,” Sakura apologized as soon as she realised that Hyewon must be waiting for her review.

“It's okay. I told you to take your time. We had just finished our exams anyway,” Hyewon consoled.

“I read it all,” Sakura giggled.

“Huh?! So how do you feel about it?” 

“For me, it's really good. When I finished it I felt like reading it again. SO i went right back to the start and read it over,” Sakura commented.

“Really?”

Sakura nodded vigorously, “Hmm!”

“By the way, if you've written anything else, I want to read them too.”

Hyewon let out a big relief, “Pheww, I'm so glad you like it.”

“Were you that worried? You're great, so don't be.”

Hyewon took the novel from Sakura and said, “The opinion of someone who reads a lot is the scariest thing to me.”

“I don't read that much though.”

“No,” Hyewon shakes her
