02. Departure!

The day had come, Mark is leaving and Jinyoung can’t send him off. Even how hard he had begged the director of the drama, even asking if he can just leave for a few hours, but he got a no as an answer. It was an important scene with other actor and actress so it was hard to change the time just for him. The other members are sending Mark off and even took pictures together.

“Take care man……” Jackson said and hugged the elder and Mark hugged back

“You too…...” Mark said while he hugged Jackson

“Don’t forget that all of us is waiting for you to come back as GOT7……” JB said and hugged Mark as well

“Of course, man…...” Mark said and hugged the leader

“I will miss you hyung…...” Yugyeom said with tears around his eyes and hugged the elder too

“And I will miss you…...” Mark said and hugged the maknae, knew that the younger is trying hard to held in his tears

“And this is for you…...” JB said and gave the elder an envelope. Mark took the envelope and he recognized the writing on the envelope immediately

“It’s from Jinyoung……” JB said and the other members felt sad for the couple, they had been seen them from the start to now. With all the happiness, sadness, fights, breakups, back together, all their up and down and they all knew that it will be hard for them

“I know…...” Mark said and reads the word on the envelope for himself “To my beloved Mark-hyung ❤️ ”

“Please take care of Jinyoung when I’m away…...” Mark said to s and JB tapped the elder on the shoulder

“Of course, we will, he is our brother……” JB said and Mark smiled and feel thankful to have s

“Don’t worry hyung, I will visit him all the time…...” Yugyeom said and it made Mark let out a chuckle, he knew that Yugyeom and Jinyoung always visit each other and he knew that s will take care of Jinyoung for him

“Okay, I think it’s time to leave……” One of Mark’s friend said and they bid goodbye before the elder left to the airport

Mark opened the envelop and read the letter slowly, one word after one word

Time flies and it had been 7 years already, we didn’t even got to celebrate our anniversary together because it is on September, a day after your birthday. Mark read the letter er thought of how Jinyoung had confessed to him that day, he would never forget it

“Mark-hyung, can I ask you something?” Jinyoung asked when they both was at the living room watching a Korean show

“Sure, what is it Jinyoungie?” Mark said with a big smile and looked at the younger who had his head down

“Mhm…...hyung would you hate me if I’m gay?” Jinyoung asked with his head still down not dare to face the elder

“Mhm…. Of course not, Jinyoung……my sister is lesbian too, so I won’t hate you…...” Mark said and looked at the younger

“Really?” Jinyoung asked and now finally looking at the elder

“Yeah…...” Mark said with a smile, the elder was happy if Jinyoung is gay then maybe he has a chance

“Mhm……then do you like someone?” Mark asked the younger, feeling nervous

“Mhm…Mark-hyung…...” Jinyoung started and looked at the elder in the eyes

“Yeah?” Mark said

“I like you and not just like a brother but as a lover. I liked you long time before and I really felt like going crazy for you and you are the first person that made me feel like that, I never knew that I was gay, but with you made me realise that I love you and I can do anything for you, please don’t hate me, I know maybe you don’t like me and will feel awkward, but I can’t control my feelings for you, I likes to spend time with you, cuddle with you, I think about you all the time and every time I sees your lips, I really wants to kiss it, please don’t hate me……” Jinyoung said all of this in one breath and let out a sigh after

Mark looked at the younger blankly, it was too much information and he trying to get all of it in his mind and try to reply. Jinyoung saw the shocking reaction from Mark and turned his head to look down

“You just rejected me now, right?” Jinyoung said and thought of the elder will start to avoid him

Mark moved his hands toward the younger and lifted Jinyoung’s head to look at him, he had both his hands on the younger’s cheek and he leaned in and kissed the younger on the lips. It shocked Jinyoung at first, but he slowly closes his eyes and kissed the elder back. When they parted their lips, they had their forehead leaned together

“You have no idea how much I like you and wanted to kiss your plump lips….” Mark said and both of them had a big smile on their face

But I was so happy when you kissed me and liked me back, it was our first day as a couple. In these 7 long years, we had so many happiness, sadness, fight, breakups, back together, we had so many up and downs, but we were always by each other’s side. But now that you will leave and back to LA, it made me feel fear, many couple breakups because of long distance and I hate myself to think that we will slowly talk less and a distance will appear between us and we will breakup or maybe you will find someone else there, a better man there

Mark read it and tears starts to fall, he didn’t know that Jinyoung thought of so much, he really wants to hug the younger now and tell Jinyoung that it will never be any man better than him and he will try his best to stay in contact with the younger. When he continues reading the letter, he felt that Jinyoung can always read his mind

If you’re crying, then stop, you didn’t let me send you off because you were scared that you would cry, so now don’t cry, my baby boy. I know that you will come back for me, for GOT7. I know that you will try your best to stay in contact with me, I will too, not just you, I can also have the alarm on and wakes up at night just to have facetime with you. And don’t you dare to find another man there or I will definitely fly over there and kill that man, of course I can’t kill you because I love you, but I promise you that I will definitely kill that man. I know that you will now tell me that you won’t find someone else and you only have me and love me, but a long distance relationship just made me so unsecure. I really need you and I don’t know how long I can stay without you by my side. Before I always just drove to your house when I miss you or you come to my place, but we will now have 9580Km between us, it is a long flight tour between us. Tears keep falling and Mark couldn’t control his cry anymore, his friend patted the elder’s back and gave Mark some tissue.

“You will see him again soon Mark…...” His other friend said from the driver seat and Mark knew it is true, but he still can’t control his feelings of missing Jinyoung and not being by his side. He already starts to regret a bit of his decision, but he needs to be strong, he also misses his family

At the airport Mark had calmed down and wiped his tears away. He can’t let the reporter or fans see him like that. He smiled and waved to the reporter and fans. A reporter asked him when he be back and he looked at the reporter before answering with a smile.

“I will be back soon……” Mark said before waving goodbye to the reporter

Many fans gave Mark some letters and he took them all and tried his best to smile to his fans. Before him leaving, his friend gave Mark one last hug

“Take care and we will see each other soon when you’re back……” His friend said and they bid goodbye to each other

Mark sat in the flight and read the letters he got from the fans, it was lovely to read them, it was filled of love from the fans. But none of them could compare the letter he got from Jinyoung. Mark posted one more picture on the twitter to the fans before leaving and he then saw on Instagram that JB posted a picture of them today before he went to the airport and Jinyoung had commented it.

‘Sorry that I couldn’t come…. I had to work…...see u soon brother…...’ Mark read it, but he didn’t press like on it, he just smiled at the comment. He knew too well what the younger meant. Because of he changed the flight date, the younger couldn’t send him off and had to work. Jinyoung will see him soon, after a short time will them meet again. Mark is Jinyoung’s brother, but also all those roles in the younger’s life. Mark is Jinyoung’s everything and vice versa. Only Mark and Jinyoung can understand the meaning behind the comment. Mark sent a message to Jinyoung before turning his phone to flight modus.

After had sent the message, Mark went through the picture he has with Jinyoung, he misses his Jinyoungie already

When Jinyoung had a break and saw the message, Mark’s flight has already departed. A smile landed on his face when he saw that Mark called him his soulmate. Hi didn’t reply knowing that the elder won’t receive it before landing LA. After the filming was over and Jinyoung can go home it was already late at night.

“Hyung, don’t send me home, please drive me to Mark-hyung’s place…...” Jinyoung said to his manager when they were on the road back home from the filming

“Jinyoung-ah…...” His manager from JYP said, after the contract ended his manager quit his job to join BH entertainment to follow Jinyoung. So, he knew about him and Mark’s relationship and he really cares for the younger

“Please hyung, I don’t want to stay at my home all alone…...” Jinyoung said and his manager let out a sigh

“You will just be sadder when you are at Mark’s place……” His manager said worried about the younger. Jinyoung did many mistakes today because he keeps thinking about Mark and his mind was away from the filming set, even the co actors would ask Jinyoung if he is feeling unwell, but the younger just pretend to be find and apologized for his mistakes

“I don’t care, I just want to sleep at his bed……” Jinyoung said and his manager has no choice, but send him to Mark’s place

Jinyoung bid goodbye to his manager and went to take the elevator. When he arrived in front of the main door of Mark’s apartment, he opened the door with the passcode ‘220994’ the passcode is his birthday, it has never changer after Mark moved out of the dorm, it has always been his birthday into Mark’s apartment. Mark has his birthday as a passcode in anything, also as the elder’s phone passcode

Jinyoung opened the door and saw the empty place, it is not as warm as before, it is all empty. Mark actually wanted to stop renting the place since he will move to LA, he thought that when he come back, he can just stay at Jinyoung’s place, but Jinyoung was against it to stop renting the place. He wanted to have a place to go and sleep when he misses the elder, Jinyoung even offered to pay the rent for Mark just so he can keep it. Mark felt guilty and sad when Jinyoung said it, but he didn’t fight back, he just agreed to everything Jinyoung wants. Jinyoung went to the PC room and the elder’s computer was still there. He didn’t take it with him since Mark will continue renting the place. He sat on the chair where Mark used to play game. Every time Mark plays games, he will sit on the couch beside him and see him play or read a book. He also remembered that the elder would stop playing right away if he complains that he felt bored and wanted the elder’s attention. Mark would stop the game even he is playing with his friends or with his brother Joey.

Jinyoung then went to the bedroom and he can see that the elder’s wardrobe is almost empty, only a few clothes is left and he knew that the elder left his favourite hoodies here so Jinyoung can wear it. Jinyoung always liked to wear Mark’s hoodies and clothes and he let out a small smile when he saw that it was his favourite hoodies that he always wears from the elder that Mark had left for him. He went to take a shower and changed to one of Mark’s hoodie and clothes. He then lied down on the elder’s bed looking at his phone waiting for the elder to call. A big smile landed on his face when a caller named My beloved Markie ❤️ is calling him
