03. Miss You!

“Hi……” Jinyoung said after had picked up the videocall

“Hey, babe……” Mark said with a big smile after seeing his boyfriend

“Did the flight go well? Are you at home for quarantine?” Jinyoung asked worried and made the elder let out a chuckle

“Of course, the flight went well, if not how can I video call you now?” Mark said and laughed and it made the younger pout for getting teased

“Ok, sorry so don’t pout baby…...” Mark apologised and it made Jinyoung smile

“Oh, are you at my place? And my hoodie?” Mark asked when he saw the familiar hoodie and bed

“Well, I missed you so I wanted sleep at your place tonight…...” Jinyoung said, holding his tears from dropping

“I miss you too……” Mark said and they stared into each other’s eyes, not saying anything, just looking at each other said everything, the miss and the love for each other

“Mark, the pizza is here let’s eat……” One of Mark’s friend that are in quarantine together with the elder said

“Coming…..” Mark said to his friend and turned back to Jinyoung

“I’m going to eat now, how about we talk again tomorrow?” Mark asked and Jinyoung just nodded his head for an answer

“Love you……” Mark said and gave a kiss through the camera

“Love you more……” Jinyoung said and kissed back through the camera and they ended their short facetime

Jinyoung turned to lie on the side and moved his legs to his chest with his arm around it and turned into a ball, he misses the elder already and it made his tears drop

Time flies and day by day went, they would call each other whenever they have time, but Jinyoung feeling hard to not miss the elder. He busies himself and put a lot of work in his schedule just so he doesn’t need to think of the elder. It made him think that the elder is still in Seoul, but he is just to busy for getting time to meet the elder. He put all his drama scene full in his schedule and meetings for new drama or other comeback when he doesn’t have any scene he needs to film. He will also go work out late at night when he couldn’t sleep, but it just made him think of him working out with the elder so he started to take sleeping pills.

Mark sent Jinyoung messages sometimes when he had times, but the younger is always busy, so busy that the elder start to worry about the younger’s health.

“Babe, how are you so busy these days? Do you even sleep enough?” Mark asked the younger worried

“I’m fine, it just these few days I’m more busy, it will be better later on…...” Jinyoung lied, he filled his schedule for a whole month. Jinyoung is at the set, but he has a lunch break and Mark called

“Ok, don’t worn yourself out okay? I know that you want to do your best, but you need some break to fill your energy too, I feel hurt knowing you will get worn out……” Mark said and the younger knew how worried the elder is for him. Mark is always looking after him and asking him to take enough break just so he don’t worn himself out

“I will, I have to go now, the lunch break is over and I need to go back to set……” Jinyoung said and Mark nodded his head even the younger couldn’t see him

“Ok, take care and I love you….” Mark said and waited for the response

“Love you too…..” Jinyoung said and they ended the call

“Jinyoung, are you done eating? The set is ready…...” His manager said, but when he saw the food on the table, he knew that the younger didn’t eat at all

“Yes, I’m done……” Jinyoung said and started to pack his food, but his manager stopped him by holding his wrist

“Jinyoung-ah, you can’t continue like that? You will worn yourself out…...and you haven’t eating anything of your lunch……” Jinyoung’s manager said worried, he cared for the younger, they had worked with each other for so many years and he take Jinyoung like his own little brother

“I didn’t have any appetite, I will eat better for dinner, don’t worry…...” Jinyoung said and went to throw the food in the trash can

The scene went well and the crew suggested to eat dinner together. Jinyoung didn’t say no, even he has no energy left. At dinner Jinyoung didn’t eat much as he promised his manager, but he drank at lot. Beer and soju, he drank all of it, even he isn’t a good drinker, he drank and cheers with all the crew members to thank them. The crew is taking two days break before filming again so it was okay to drink alcohol. Only after an hour or so, Jinyoung was already drunk and the manager excused them and took Jinyoung home.

He made drunk Jinyoung on the bed and took of the younger’s jacket and shoes so Jinyoung can sleep comfortable. When he was ready to leave, someone called to Jinyoung’s phone and he saw that it was Mark, so he picked it up

“Hey, baby, is you done with the filming?” Mark asked but he got meet with a sigh

“It’s me Mark……” The manager said and Mark could recognise the voice right away

“Oh, hyung why are you picking up the phone? Is Jinyoung still busy filming?” Mark asked and thought that the younger are still busy, but the manager made a sigh again that worried Mark

“No, the filming is over, but…..” The manager started, but stopped again, not sure if he should tell Mark

“But what? Did something happened to Jinyoung on the set? Is he on the hospital? What happened to him?” Mark asked worried, scared that some accident happened on the scene

“No, he is fine, but just drunk…..” The manager said, but Mark can feel that it something more than that

“Drunk? He never let himself getting drunk, he always knew how to control how much he drinks……did something happen?” Mark asked, hoped that the manager hyung would tell him, because he knew that Jinyoung would never tell him even if he is suffering

“The drama crew suggested to have dinner together so we drank a bit……..” The manager started before let out a sigh “Well, maybe he isn’t fine……he is overworking himself and aren’t eating well either. He pushed himself and put a lot of work into his schedule, more than necessary and always says that he doesn’t have any appetite, we can already see that he has lost a lot of weight. I had talked to him many times, but he doesn’t listen to me, maybe you can try to talk things out with him……” The manager said and it made Mark sad knowing that the younger is over working and not eating well. Even the manger didn’t say the reason, he can guess that he is the reason for Jinyoung overworking. He can feel that the younger sadness every time they talk on the phone. He knew Jinyoung too well, every time there is something that sadness the younger, he would overwork to not think about it

“I will try hyung, thank you for always taking care of him…..” Mark said and feeling selfish over not choosing Jinyoung and went home instead of staying by his side. He knew that he broke his promise with the younger, the promise he made years ago.

Flashback

In 2019 a scandal happened of Mark secretly dating a BJ and was a part of the illegal chat that made Mark had a really hard time then. The company was not helping much and didn’t take legal action after a long time of fight and discussion. He really felt depressed then for being dragged into this. GOT7 was having a world tour and the company even wanted Mark to take a break from the concert. He didn’t agree of course, s also fight for him. He felt bad for s that his scandal can affect the group, like what the company said. But he also felt unfair if he needs to take a break when he did nothing wrong.

Mark hides himself in the dark corner of his room, sitting on the floor and tears fell, he was always careful of not having any scandal do affect the group. Even his relationship with Jinyoung had been very careful. The door opened and Jinyoung went to sit beside the elder, and Mark knew that he needs to talk to Jinyoung. He had been avoiding the younger since the rumour came out, he didn’t cheat on Jinyoung, but he felt that he did something wrong. Even the BJ from the rumour that he dated came out and said that they had been dating, he scared that Jinyoung would misunderstand that he cheated on him, but the younger never said a word about it and he never asked or suspected Mark. Even all the other members asked him if there where something between him and the BJ because Mark was dating Jinyoung, but the younger never said a word. Jinyoung never ask, but just support him and give him time. Jinyoung was the one who fight the most for him in the company meetings, even threaten the team that if Mark taking a break, he will also take a break. He can feel the love and support the younger gives him. Every night the younger would hug him to sleep and show him all the love and it made Mark even more guilty for not telling Jinyoung what had happened and having this scandal.

“I’m sorry…..” Mark said while he hides his face into his knee that are into his chest

“Why be sorry? It was just a rumour, it was not your fault…..you was friend with him and they are just using you to get more popular……” Jinyoung said, but Mark can also hear that the younger try to hide his fear and sadness

“I promise, there is nothing between me and that BJ…..” Mark finally looks up and said, scared that Jinyoung would misunderstand

“I know……I trust you…..” Jinyoung said and it made Mark so surprised of how Jinyoung can just trust him without even asking any details about the scandal

“You just trust me like that? Not even asking any questions?” Mark asked, he want to find out if the younger really trusted him or just hiding his pain

“In a relationship, trust is the most important thing, and without it, it wouldn’t work…..of course I was surprised at first when the news came out, I only had two choice then, and it was to either trust you or not……I choose to trust you because I knew you for so long now and I know that my boyfriend would never cheat on me…….so no need to ask for explanation, because asking you question is already a mistrust…….you had a hard time because of this and I only want to be beside you and support you for no matter what…..I will never leave you and I will always stay by your side……” Jinyoung said and it made Mark so touched of the word and action.

“Even you trust me, I still feel like that I did something I shouldn’t had done and I should had told you earlier, before all this happened, I hate that you found this out by the news and not from me…..I want to tell you all of this…..can you please let me explain to you?” Mark said and pleaded for letting him explain, even that the younger already trusted him, he still wants to explain and let the younger decide after he had explained if he still want to stay by his side. Jinyoung just nodded his head, letting Mark do the talk

“Chang bum introduced Yeolmae to as his girlfriend and we exchanged kakaotalk…..it was all fine then, but Yeolmae always sent me message whenever she has a fight with Chang bum or asking me if I knew where he is……I didn’t think much back then and never knew that our chat would get me involved in this ……Ahyeong is a friend of them, at first they asked me to have a coffee and they introduced Ahyeong to me…..I thought that it was just a new friends joining the meet…..so I become close to her……but I never dated her, yes I have met her a few times alone, but I at first thought that Chang bum would join us, but it always ends up us alone. Sometimes we all goes out, but they are making the situation awkward and make me stay alone with Ahyeong. I had told Chang bum not to do it, but he just doesn’t listen to me…..and Ahyeong keep sending me message and calling me…. I didn’t know how to say no and tell them that I already dating you……I was scared to tell them and it will suddenly affect you and our group…...Yeolmae also sent me message asking me how I think of Ahyeong and I didn’t want to be rude, so I just said that she’s nice and a good girl, but I didn’t know that they would misunderstand that I like Ahyeong. I didn’t even know why Ahyeong telling people that we’re dating when I have never accept her feelings…...I had always stayed in a friendly zone, but she keeps telling others that we dated…...I hate myself for trusting them, I hate myself for hurting you…...I know that you trust me, but it was all my fault, I should had stayed away from Ahyeong, I should had told her directly that I don’t like her……I know you are hurt because of this……. I’m so sorry Jinyoung-ah…….” Mark said while he held the younger’s hands and tears keep falling down

“I promise that I didn’t had any feeling for Ahyeong, please don’t leave me……” Mark said, crying hard and Jinyoung felt hurt seeing the elder cry so he hugged the elder tightly

“When did I ever said that I will leave you……” Jinyoung said and his tears start to fall as well, seeing the elder cry made him want to cry too

“I’m scared that you would leave me after knowing that it is all my fault, I didn’t make it clear with Ahyeong, telling her that I don’t like her, made her misunderstand that I like her and telling other’s that we dated……” Mark said and couldn’t stop his tears

“Shu, Shu…. Well, you should have made it clear and not make her misunderstand, but is still not your fault, it was her that misunderstood and you were just trying to be nice so don’t feel guilty…... I promise I will never leave you, but please promise me that you would never leave my side either……” Jinyoung said and broke the hug, he wipes Mark’s tears with his hand before giving the elder a peck on the lips

“I promise, I promise that I will never ever leave your side…….” Mark said and kissed the younger and Jinyoung kissed back

End of flashback

Mark had promised Jinyoung to stay by his side and he has now broke his promise with the younger. Jinyoung did nothing wrong, he has always stayed by Mark’s side no matter what, even on his hardest time. When his grandmother died, he was so broken and Jinyoung was the only thing that made him putting himself together. But his grandmother’s death also made him realise that his parent is getting old, and he hasn’t spent too much time of his life with his family. He scared that he would suddenly lose one of his family members just like his grandmother, and with Covid-19, made him even more worried….

I just find out that I’m so bad at shorting my stories, new ideas come all the time when I writes the chapter down and it make me change it or write it longer. So, if I can’t short it down by next chapter, I will just make this to a long chaptered story like my old stories. Sorry if the readers here like short stories 
