01. Decision!

All seven member gathered inside the meeting room in JYP. It’s only a few weeks before their contract with the company will expire and here are the members to hear what each of them had decided. None of the member had talked with each other beforehand, because they respect each member’s decision and knew that all of them needed time to think. They had set a date where they need to have the decision ready and they will talk about it and the date had come.

“So, what’s the decision?” Yugyeom was the first one to ask

“Mhm……I had been talking with Sublime entertainment and I think I will sign a contract with them…...” Youngjae said and all of them nodded for understanding. They all knew inside they heart that they had been treated differently from the other artist in JYP and they all kind of had enough

“I think I will sign with AOMG, I like HipHop the most and I like their style of how they work and the freedom…...” Yugyeom said and all the members understands since they knew how much the younger loved HipHop

“Well, I have been in touch with the company, I had actually thought of renew the contract, but the only condition for that was if we all seven is renewing as GOT7……but from the company side and knowing now that some of you already made up mind to leave JYP……I will leave as well…. but I haven’t decided yet if I will sign to any new entertainment yet……. “JB said and Jackson looked at the leader surprised, because he had the same thought

“I had actually thought the same, if all of us was renewing as GOT7 I would renew as well, but the company has other thoughts and I don’t want to stay here without you guys…... I will continue in TEAM WANG, but maybe find an entertainment that can collaboration with TEAM WANG and take care of my schedule in Korea…...Sublinm had actually sent me an offer too, and I’m thinking about it….” Jackson said and pointed at Youngjae since he will be signing with Sublime

“That would be cool if you will be signing with Subline too, then we can finally have our Jjap, Jjap project hahahaha…...” Youngjae said exited and joked about their Jjap, Jjap Project that made all of the member laugh

“What about you Bam?” Yugyeom asked his bestfriend

“Mhm…...don’t know, but for sure is that I won’t renew the contract……. I think I will still stay in Korea for now, but maybe work in Thailand as well……” BamBam said and Yugyeom was happy that his bestfriend haven’t decided to leave Korea for good

“Mhm…...I…...I plan to go back to the states……” This time is Mark’s turn to say and all off them turned to the elder surprised, they haven’t thought that the elder would be leaving Korea. The members then turned their head to look at Jinyoung, curious if he knew it, but from the shocking face Jinyoung had, they knew that the younger didn’t knew about it as well

Jinyoung just felt that his heart sink, he feels someone just stole his heart and it hurts. He can feel fear, sadness, and more, he had complicated feelings right now. He never thought that the elder would leave his side, never ever would he thought of this decision. Jinyoung and Mark had been dating for 7 long years, they had feelings for each other since trainee days, but they started dating after debut. They had fights, and even small breakups that they didn’t talked to each other for weeks, but never did Jinyoung thought of Mark leaving Korea for good. Even their breakups in the past only made them realise how much they love each other. They will always back together because they knew that deep inside their heart only belongs to each other.

It was silence inside the room, none of them said a thing, they didn’t prepare for this decision and don’t know what to say

“Hey, it’s not like I will disappear from this world, calm down…...I just felt that so many years in this country made me miss my hometown…...” Mark said with a smile and it made the other smile for Mark

“Well, you have the right, but you will still come back for us, right? We still need comebacks as GOT7……” Jackson said and it made all of the members exited and agree, except Jinyoung, he just stayed in silence with his head down

“Of course, Jackson….” Mark said with a big smile

“What about you Jinyoung-ah?” JB that knew that the younger are in deep thought, asked and wanted to have the younger to talk

“What?” Jinyoung asked, back to reality from his thought

“I asked what is your plan?” JB asked again and Jinyoung gave a fake smile

“I will be signing with BH entertainment, continue with my acting career…...” Jinyoung said and faked a smile even he wants to cry because of the news of his boyfriends will leave the country, back to his hometown that are 9580 km away. He doesn’t know if he will do a good job on long distance relationship and also the time different will make it even difficult

“But you had no choice, but join us to sing and dance as GOT7’s Jinyoung……” Yugyeom said and it made all of them laugh, but Jinyoung just smiled

“Of course, he will, we will always be GOT7 and the comeback will be soon……” Mark said, try to make the atmosphere better

“But when is soon? How long will I need to wait for this soon?” Jinyoung said quietly and all the member knew that he didn’t direct the question to the group, but direct to one certain person and it is no other than Mark Tuan

“Mhm…...maybe we should leave and give them some time…...” JB suggested and the rest of the member nodded for agreeing and stands up to leave the couple alone

It was silent, none of them to said a word. Both of them just awkwardly sat there. Maybe none of them knew how to start this conversation. But it was until the elder let out a sigh for starting this hard and difficult conversation

“I’m sorry…...” Mark said and looked at his beloved boyfriend that sit beside him with his head down

“Why are you apologising? You did nothing wrong and of course you miss your family and want to go back home……” Jinyoung said with his head still down, he tried to say it as calm as he can, he tried so hard to control his tears and feelings, he doesn’t want to show the elder that he is against the decision and being a selfish boyfriend that stops the lover to go home

“Hey, look at me……” Mark said and turned the younger’s chair so they are sitting in front of each other

Jinyoung slowly looked up to the elder and Mark can see that Jinyoung wants to cry, but just try to stay calm and held his tears. Jinyoung is not a person that cries easily, he always tries to held it in and don’t like to show it to others, but being together for so many years, the elder had seen him up and down

“I’m sorry that I choose to leave Korea, but I just felt……believe me it was a hard decision…...I thought of you, I really had……but it had been so many years now and I really miss my family and hometown…….” Mark said slowly and he wants to cry as well, just the thought of him leaving Jinyoung here behind made him guilty and sad

“I know that you miss your family, but can’t you just go home for a holiday? Stay there for a few weeks? Even a few months? Must you leave for good?” Jinyoung finally asked the selfish question he tried not to ask and the elder can see that the younger is about to cry. Jinyoung knew he sounded selfish for stopping the elder to leave. He knew how much Mark miss his family, Jinyoung had his family here in Korea and he knew that his family can never compare Mark’s family for the elder even his family take Mark as their family.

“Is not the same Jinyoung, but I will come back, I promise……I will come back often for you and we will meet again soon……” Mark said and tried to convince the younger that he will never forget him

“When is soon hyung? A few months? A year? Or years? How will this long distance work? We both will be busy and the time different…….and the virus out there……we can’t just fly to each other and meet…...” Jinyoung asked the elder all these questions with tears running down

“Babe, please don’t cry…...every time I see you cry, it hurts so much……” Mark said and hugged the younger, he felt his tears was running down as well

“Then don’t leave me alone here……” Jinyoung said with his head buried into the elder’s chest

“I’m sorry Jinyoung…...I’m so sorry, I really am…….” Mark said and hugged Jinyoung even more tightly. They cried out and stayed in the same position for who knows how long. When both of them had calmed down, they parted away from the hug. Mark wipes the tears away from Jinyoung with his hand and Jinyoung did the same for Mark. The elder leaned in and kissed the younger and Jinyoung kissed Mark back.

“It hurts hyung, how will our future be?” Jinyoung asked and it made Mark let out a sigh

“Our future will be us together no matter what, I promise that I will come back for you, for GOT7, but right now……I want to have my time with my family…...not just for a few weeks of holiday, but stay by them side for a while……” Mark said and Jinyoung just nodded his head

“You will make time for me, right? Message is not enough for me and you know it…. you had to call me and facetime with me……” Jinyoung said it with a pout and aegyo that made Mark let out a chuckle and pecked the younger on the pouting lips

“Oh, my boyfriend is full of aegyo…. hahahaha…...” Mark joked and it made Jinyoung hit his chest

“Hey, I’m serious here……answer me properly” Jinyoung said while he hit the elder for joking when he is so serious here

“Sorry, but I thought you already knew my answer…...of course I will, I will have my alarm on and calls you and facetimes with you…...I know that we have a different time sone, but I will wakes up at night just so I can facetime with you……” mark said in a serious tone this time, before he kissed the younger again. Jinyoung kissed the elder back and none of them wanted to part away from each other.

Mark had already booked a flight ticked and after all their schedule, the elder will leave for LA. Even Jinyoung knew that he only had less than a month left before Mark would leave for good, he can’t spend too much time with the elder. He has schedule and he is filming for his new drama Devil Judge. No matter how much he wants to spend all his time with the elder instead of filming, he still needed to be professional and continue filming. But he had been stayed at the elder’s place. No matter how late the schedule ended and how tired he is he would still go to the elder’s place to spend a few hours with him and Mark would wait for the younger. Sometimes Jinyoung would film at place that are long away from Seoul for a few days, but he will never stay in a hotel, but begs his manger to drive him back to Seoul just so he can be with Mark or let him take a taxi home. Even his manager is tired as well, but he would never say no to Jinyoung and drive him back to the elder for he knew that Mark is leaving and they only have short time left for staying together.

After a long filming day, Jinyoung arrived at Mark’s place, but when he opened the main door, the reality hit him and he knew that Mark is really leaving. The floor is filled of clothes and suitcases. All these days, Jinyoung had not dared to think that Mark is leaving, he just wanted to stay beside the elder, but now seeing the elder had started to pack his stuff made him sad and tears started to fall. Mark came out of his room with hands filled with clothes, but when he saw the younger crying, he throws all of the clothes down on the floor and ran to Jinyoung

“Babe, what wrong? Why are you crying? Did something bad happened on the set today?” Mark asked the younger filled of concern, but Jinyoung just shook his head for a no

“What is it then?” Mark asked worried and Jinyoung sniffed, trying hard to calm down and control his tears

“I’m…. I’m…...I’m just…...just realised that you really are leaving now……” Jinyoung said stuttering because of the crying

“Babe, we already talked about it……” Mark said, he had talked with Jinyoung many times about his decision and he really thought that Jinyoung was okay now, he had been supportive every time they talked about it and was so calm, came with all the solution to spend time together even the time sone different

“I know…...but it just ing hurt knowing that you will be so many km away from me and not just a few km…...” Jinyoung said and cried even harder and the elder quickly hugged Jinyoung. He finally realised that Jinyoung had been holding it in all the time just to be a supportive boyfriend and support his decision. He realised how selfish he was for only thinking about his miss for his family and forgot how hurt the younger can be. He always thought that they have a strong relationship and Jinyoung is strong to continue the relationship with him even for long distance. But he realised that the younger also had the soft and weak point and he knew now that the youngers weak point his him leaving him behind.

“I’m so sorry Jinyoung and I love you…...” Mark said and cried as well together with the younger

When they both had calmed down, they moved to the room and cuddle in bed. Mark just left the packing for later, the most important thing right now was to stay with his Jinyoungie

“Will the other member send you off?” Jinyoung asked while he has his head lying on Mark’s chest

“Yeah, Jackson, Jeabeom and Yugyeom promised to send me off on Sunday…...” Mark said and the younger’s back, but Jinyoung sat up surprised

“Sunday? Wasn’t it Monday, the 01. February?” Jinyoung asked, he was very sure that he noted the time and date right just so he can send the elder off

“It was, but I changed it……” Mark sits up as well and said calmly

“But I have a schedule that day…...why did you change it, I wanted to send you off, I marked the day just so I didn’t put any schedule on that day and can send you off……you should had asked me first…...” Jinyoung complained, he wanted to send the elder off

“I know and that’s why I wanted to change the date of the flight……I don’t want you to send me off…….” The elder said with his head down don’t know how to face the younger

“Why? I promise I won’t cry……” Jinyoung said, but he already is about to cry when he said that

“But I’m scared that I will cry and not letting you go and miss my flight……” Mark said and looked at the younger. Mark the face of Jinyoung and the younger quickly hugged the elder and Mark hugged back

“I don’t care, I will ask for a permission to leave the set that day just so I can send you off…...” Jinyoung said and snuggled closer to Mark’s neck

“Don’t, you had to be professional and you still pretty new in the acting career so don’t make the others talk behind your back for you being unprofessional….” Mark said and kissed the younger on the nape

“I don’t care, sending my boyfriend off is way more important…...” Jinyoung said childishly and it just made the elder let out a chuckle
