A/N: So sorry for taking so long to post this update. got caught up in school and then got super sick but all is well now :) and i really want to finish this story! 

Cheonsa

Goddess was filming their music video in a two-story house with a modern edge. Cheonsa read the concept of the MV in the kitchen. It was a sad concept, something Cheonsa wondered if they could pull off. Ha Na and Mina were the main leads of the music video. Chanyeol was the best guy friend who was loving and caring but he didn't love Ha Na the way she wanted him to. He was in love with Mina who didn't even know he existed. It was a never-ending cycle. But Ha Na ends up falling in love with Lay after deciding to give up on Chanyeol but then, Chanyeol realizes that he is in love with Ha Na but it's too late.

Cheonsa glanced up at Ha Na "Have you read this?" She waved the script around

"Nope" Ha Na smiled "Why, is it that bad?" she took the script

"Actually, I think it might be spot on" Cheonsa snickered

Ha Na skimmed through it then handed it back to Cheonsa "Sounds fun" she joked. Cheonsa could tell she was nervous after reading it. Ha Na began fidgeting and her eyes wandered around the room.

"What are you worried about?" she asked after Ha Na's fourth pace round in the kitchen

"Its our first music video" Ha Na glanced out the door and suddenly Cheonsa realized why she was so nervous. Hae Ra kept glaring at her from her make up chair with snarky remarks here and there to her makeup artist. Cheonsa grabbed Ha Na's hands "You will be great. You we're already in a drama...you have this thing in the bag"

Ha Na nodded

"You're a bad " Cheonsa reminded her

"I'm a bad " Ha Na repeated to herself

"Ha Na this way please" Lola, one of the hair dressers that always worked with Goddess came to get her

"Go" Cheonsa pushed her.

Cheonsa was getting fed up with Hae Ra and her constant bad vibes. She hadn't realized it but she had been staring a hole into Hae Ra's face

"What?" Hae Ra crossed her arms while May curled her hair

Cheonsa smiled, kill them with kindness "nothing, you just look really pretty today" she walked into the other room

Hae Ra scoffed

"Hey" Kai stood in the door way

"What are you doing here? Does Ha Na know?"

"No... she hasn't really been returning my calls" Kai tucked his hands in his pants awkwardly

"can you blame her?" Cheonsa scoffed "You were...something else yesterday"

"I was worried, you can't get mad at me for that. Plus, she doesn't even know the guy" Kai shook his head

"And you do?" Cheonsa smiled

"What?" Kai was ready to argue and Ha Na had never had better timing than in that moment. Cheonsa let out a small sigh

"Jong In?" Ha Na walked across the room "tell me you're not staying" she hissed

"I wouldn't have had to come if you'd answered me"

"Are you serious?" Ha Na pulled him to the side so no one could see them "this is not okay. What are people going to think?"

"just answer me this." Kai leaned in "why are you so obsessed with these thugs" Kai put air quotes on the word thugs

Ha Na glanced at Hae Ra "she threatened me" Ha Na glanced at Hae Ra in her makeup chair in the other room "I told her I wasn't afraid of her... and she said I should be" Ha Na whispered "and then the next day I see her with these huge men who look like they are just...thuggish and now one of them is our manager..." Ha Na concluded "That's why"

"She won't do anything" Kai could see how upset the conversation had made her "I promise" he pulled her in for a hug, not caring that Goddess was there "I'll look into your manager"

"Its fine" Ha Na shook her head "its my problem"

"Its mine too" Kai placed his hand on her shoulder "I'll take care of it"

"well, you're just everywhere these days" Sarang stood behind Kai with her arms crossed "Came to see Ha Na again?"

"Um, actually I dropped Chanyeol and Lay off on my way to practice" he scoffed "I was just about to leave"

"Sure you were" Sarang scoffed

"can you guys give us a minute?" Kai asked Cheonsa and Ha Na

They glanced at each other, questioningly but went to another room

"What's your deal?" Kai asked "You're the one that said you didn't want to be friends... I didn't think that applied to the rest of Goddess too"

"I guess I just thought you would make an effort to-"

"I practically begged you not to leave that day. But you said you couldn't do it anymore." Kai shrugged "YOU wanted it like this, Sarang" he walked off

"That's not what I wanted..." Sarang let herself drop on the couch behind her

"What did you want?" Hae Ra leaned in the door way

Sarang stared at her, appalled that she overheard her "how much-"

"All of it." She shrugged "Doesn't take a genius to guess what happened."

"Its fine-"

"Is it? because it seems like the guy you like...chose Ha Na" Hae Ra nodded towards Kai saying goodbye to Ha Na and Cheonsa

"That's not it, Hae Ra" Sarang stood up suddenly "you don't know what happened"

"But I do. The same thing that happened to me." Hae Ra stood up too "you told her you liked Kai and she decided she did too. Just like when I said I liked Eun Woo now suddenly they're buddy buddy?" she scoffed "sounds to me like that's exactly what happened"

"Ha Na and Eun Woo?" Sarang didn't remember Ha Na ever mentioning Eun Woo around them

"Ha Na and Kai too"

"we have a music video to film" Sarang shook her head "you know. Ha Na isn't a bad person" she patted Hae Ra's arm

"yeah, well I guess you don't see what I do" Hae Ra glared at Ha Na in the other room.

Ha Na

The director told Chanyeol and Ha Na to act natural so they played some music while they attempted cooking in the kitchen.

"This one is yours" Chanyeol handed Ha Na a pink apron with bunnies on the front

"Oh, no sir." Ha Na shook her head and grabbed the plain white one on the counter "That's all you" she laughed at the look on his face

"Good!" the Director called the shot "keep rolling" he murmured

"get the milk and butter" Ha Na read the recipe out loud

"Milk" Chanyeol handed her the milk "butter... butter..."he searched "Do we have butter?" he stood up straight

"We should" Ha Na went to search "its right here" she scoffed "Pabo"

Chanyeol laughed "so this is a cake, right?"

"Cupcakes"

"Right" he leaned over the counter as Ha Na read out loud

"We need a table spoon and a tea spoon" she looked around the kitchen

"Ha Na try giving long loving looks his way" the director got closer

Ha Na turned to Chanyeol suddenly as he re-read the recipe. She smiled softly as he scratched his head "is this the table spoon" he held it up

"Nae" Ha Na nodded, long loving looks weren't a problem, she had been doing those since she entered SE

"Perfect" the director whispered "keep rolling"

"I think I did it wrong" Chanyeol's eyes widened "I put in the almond extract not vanilla" he turned to Ha Na, still holding the spoon in his hand like a murder weapon

"its fine" Ha Na chuckled "We can work with that" she took the spoon from him "But I think I'll take care of this part"

"CUT" the director walked up to the counter "you're giving me real good content." He praised "try casually touching his shoulder or maybe brush your hands together every so often."

"Nae" both Chanyeol and Ha Na nodded

They filmed for three hours then took a break and went back to filming. They tried getting all the scenes they needed to film in the house in one day. Ha Na and Chanyeol had been the main focus of the day. The next filming location was an office building where Mina and Chanyeol would be the leads.

"Alright tomorrow we're meeting at the SVS office. Don't forget!" the production manager announced in every room.

"NAE!"

"hey" Chanyeol placed his now dirty apron on the counter "we should get some food"

Ha Na couldn't reach the knot on her apron "I can't, Goddess had a show at MDC studios" she glanced over her shoulder

"Here" Chanyeol turned her around suddenly to help her

"Thanks" Ha Na dropped her arms to her sides

"How about I take you some food?"

Ha Na hesitated

"That sounds great" Hae Ra suddenly leaned over the counter

Chanyeol grinned "Sounds like a plan then" he placed Ha Na's apron on the counter "I'll see you in a bit" he walked off

"You never say no to free food. Its rule number one" Hae Ra shrugged

"Do you need something?" Ha Na put on a fake smile

"Hm. Yes" Hae Ra stood up "yes, you can tell me what's going on between you and Eun Woo" she crossed her arms

"nothing"

"Don't lie"

"I'm not"

Hae Ra took a deep breath "I know you've been spending time with him"

"And how would you know that? Are you stalking me or something?"

"You didn't deny it"

"Neither did you."

They stared at each other, neither one wanting to look away first

"Ha Na...I'm not someone you want to have as an enemy" Hae Ra circled around the counter

"I'm not your enemy Hae Ra" Ha Na sighed exasperatedly "Are you?"

"am I what?" Hae Ra scoffed

"My Enemy?"


 

Ha Na

Ha Na looked at herself in the mirror.

The white strapless dress that seemed to be too big for her now stopped right above her knees. Her gold heels were hard to walk in and the necklace that she wore was ice cold against her skin.

"She walked off?" Cheonsa repeated for the hundredth time "that's it" she shook her head

"Yup. Didn't even answer my question" Ha Na examined her hair; she had applied hair spray but nothing seemed to be keeping in place

"I guess I just don't get it" Cheonsa applied some last-minute lipstick "we were all so close before Goddess debuted. Now everyone just seems to hate each other"

"I don't hate you" Ha Na smiled at her sweetly

"I don't hate you either" Cheonsa chuckled

"Hae Ra hates me"

"She does" Cheonsa agreed

"I just wish I knew why." Ha Na caught a glimpse of Astro walking by outside their room. She wondered if it all really came down to Eun Woo. Things weren't that bad until Hae Ra found out Ha Na had walked in on Eun Woo the day of their debut. Ever since then Hae Ra had gone out of her way to make Ha Na feel incompetent. For some reason everything Ha Na did was wrong. The wrong cake, the wrong food, the wrong dance, everything was always her fault. Ha Na fought the urge to cry.

"No. no you stop that right now" Cheonsa fanned her face

"Sorry" Ha Na cleared "I'm fine" she managed a smile

"Eun Woo" Ha Na turned around just in time to see Hae Ra hurry out to meet Eun Woo. He stopped for her to catch up

"They know each other?" Cheonsa leaned in to get a better look

Ha Na shrugged "I guess" she hadn't realized it but she had stretched her neck as far out as she possible could to get a good look at the situation

Hae Ra giggled and lightly touched his arm

"what is she doing..." Cheonsa scoffed "is she flirting? Oh my god- she's flirting" she hissed

Ha Na turned her attention back to her reflection in the mirror "Why is this so loose?"

 

Cheonsa

Cheonsa lingered at the entrance to Goddess' dressing room. Hae Ra had been standing outside in the hall with Astro for the longest time. She could tell it was bothering Ha Na, even if she wouldn't admit it. Ha Na kept spraying her hair and touching up her make up trying not to pay attention to Hae Ra being extra loud.

Finally, Cheonsa had enough.

"Oh, Astro?" she casually walked out of the room

"Anyeong" MJ waved enthusiastically

"I didn't see you guys on the lineup"

"Last minute changes" Moonbin shrugged "I'm glad we got to see you though."

Cheonsa grinned "we're going to be promoting at the same time, might as well be friends"

"Agreed" Jin Jin, the leader of Astro held his hand out and Cheonsa shook it

"Weren't you getting ready?" Hae Ra seemed all too eager to get rid of Cheonsa

"I'm done" she smirked

"Is Ha Na in there?" Eun Woo looked over their heads

"Nae" Cheonsa moved over so he could see her at the mirror wall "You can go say hi" she encouraged

"Can I?"

Cheonsa nodded and stopped Hae Ra from saying anything by walking back into her

Ha Na noticed Eun Woo through the mirror.

"Hey" he smiled

"Hi" looked at him through the mirror. They stood in silence for a while before Ha Na finally spoked "I didn't get a chance to check on Joo Ri"

"Oh, don't worry about it. I told her you probably had a busy schedule."

"I was planning on sneaking her in to the dorm" she lowered her voice

Eun Woo's eyes widened

"She needs a shower and clean clothes. She can't stay out there like this for too long" Ha Na warned

"I know." He looked down at his feet "I promised her I'd help her find her mom"

"Find her? I thought she was on a business trip?"

"That's what her dad told her. I'm almost certain he sent her away so she wouldn't be able to see Joo Ri, I don't know the real story"

"That's horrible" Ha Na finally turned to face him

"I know. I hired someone to look into, but he hasn't brought me anything in a while"

"You hired someone?" Ha Na was impressed "That's really nice of you"

"What can I say, I'm a softy" he joked

"You are" Ha Na chuckled "that's a good thing"

"yeah?" every time he smiled there were crinkled by his eyes that Ha Na found oddly irresistible. She found herself smiling back each time.

"yeah" Ha Na readjusted her dress "Sorry" she tugged on it uncomfortably

"will you be okay to go on like that?"

"Yeah, its fine" she smiled. Eun Woo continued to stare at her with that smile that made her mind go blank "So, Joo Ri..."

"Right" he came back to "maybe we can go get her after the showcase"

"Really?" Ha Na's eyes lit up

Eun Woo nodded "Moon Bin can cover for me. We can go get her, sneak her in to your dorm and get her back out tomorrow morning?"

"Yeah, before our schedules start" Ha Na grinned "I promised her I'd take her shopping for some new clothes-"

"we can take her tomorrow. I don't have a lot going on after noon"

"We?" Ha Na raised an eyebrow and Eun Woo nodded "I don't have filming until the evening so that perfect"

"Cool" he gave her a thumbs up "Sounds like a plan"

"Yah" Moon Bin stuck his head in "Hi" he smiled at Ha Na "You look beautiful, and I don't want to interrupt but were up next...so"

Eun Woo tuned to Ha Na "Good luck out there. I'll text you when we get back to the dorms?"

Ha Na nodded "Break a leg"

Hae Ra and Cheonsa made their way back in

"Good luck" Hae Ra lightly touched his arm again

Just then Min Woo poked his head in the door way "Hey girls, do you mind if I talk to Hae Ra really quick?"

"Take her" Cheonsa shrugged

Ha Na pulled Cheonsa closer "We need to listen in on that conversation"

"Do we?"

"We Do" Ha Na pulled Cheonsa towards the door and stuck her head out "coast is clear" she continued to move out of the room and crossed the hallway that led to a commons area. She could already hear them arguing about something.

"This is not what I had in mind" Hae Ra hissed

"You said you wanted it taken care of." Min Woo scoffed "You knew what you were doing when you came to me"

"I already paid you. So why are you still here?"

Ha Na and Cheonsa exchanged looks

"I don't know. There's a lot of potential in this line of work. I might just stick around"

Hae Ra groaned "well you're not getting another cent form me"

"Little girl, I make the rules. You follow. And I say I'm going to need you to cooperate because if not I have some very incriminating picture-"

"Arasso. I get it." she cut him off but it was too late. Ha Na Cheonsa had heard it all.

"Oh, what are we looking at?" Chanyeol appeared behind them suddenly. Cheonsa jumped and Ha Na gasped loudly enough to capture Hae Ra and Min Woo's attention.

Hae Ra held Ha Na's terrified gaze and there was nothing Ha Na wanted more than to be swallowed whole by the earth and disappear. Her heart sank as she held her breath while Hae Ra's eyes darkened after realizing they overheard everything.
