Cheonsa panted, completely out of breath. Goddess had gone through the dance four times since Ha Na had left to the bathroom to take care of her leg and she wondered if Ha Na was coming back anytime soon

"She's taken a while, hasn't she?" Euna handed Cheonsa a bottled water

Cheonsa had thought so too "Should I check on her?"

"Yeah, maybe she needs help cleaning up" Euna urged her to go

"Its not like it's that hard" Hae Ra scoffed "Wonder what she was doing" she snickered

"you wouldn't believe me if I told you" Mina glared at her from the doubled over poster she had taken after finally being able to rest

"I'll be back" Cheonsa set her water bottle down. She ran into Kai as she was walking out of the practice room. He was just as surprised to see her.

"Hey" he smiled and looked back at Chanyeol who had kept walking "I haven't seen you since your debut. How you holding up?"

Cheonsa nodded "Better. Thanks for the advice. I literally repeat that every time my nerves get to be too much"

"I'm glad it helps" he patted her shoulder "Is Ha Na here?" he tried to sneak a look past her into the room but he looked like he got spooked

"No..." Choensa glanced over her shoulder and saw Sarang staring at them while she picked a song to run through "she's in the-"

"Chanyeol, Its not what it seems!" Ha Na's voice echoed down the hall

Cheonsa and Kai exchanged looks before following her distressed voice

"Really?" Chanyeol scoffed

"It's a misunderstanding" Eun Woo held his hands up

"No, I know what I heard" Chanyeol shook his head furiously

Cheonsa noticed Eun Woo and Ha Na looked flustered while Chanyeol looked absolutely enraged. Cheonsa had always thought Chanyeol had feelings for Ha Na because of the way he always looked out for her. Even though Ha Na would always argue that he's just a nice guy, Cheonsa knew better, and proof was standing before her

"What's going on?" Kai looked around at everyone's faces "And what happened to you?" his eyes landed on Ha Na's leg

"she took her pants off and this one walked in" Chanyeol pointed at Eun Woo aggressively "that's what's going on" he ended his rant with crossed arms

"No, no, this one was just as surprised when her pants came off" Eun Woo shook his head "I mean they were already off..." he hesitated "If anything she's the " Eun Woo scoffed

"What are you-" Ha Na covered her face "Now is not the time" Ha Na hadn't told anyone about what happened the day of her debut. Aside from it being mortifying, she knew Hae Ra would kill her for divulging that to everyone.

"What does he mean?" Kai furrowed his eyebrows

"She's the one that walked in on me, shirtless. " Eun Woo pointed at her "so this one is the real "

Kai stifled a laugh at the mortified look on Ha Na's face

"So that's what happened" Cheonsa grinned as she recalled that day and a very dumbfounded Ha Na stumbling through their waiting room door

"can we move on- there's nothing left to say here" Ha Na turned to Eun Woo "Thank you for returning my phone" she bowed and turned to Chanyeol and Kai but refused to say anything "Come on" she grabbed Cheonsa's arm and pulled her back to their practice room

"Well, hang on. What if Eun Woo gets jumped or something" Cheonsa kept glancing back but it was too painful at the speed that Ha Na was walking

"He'll be fine" Ha Na didn't bother to look back she just wanted to escape the embarrassment she had been put through

Cheonsa gasped

"What?" Ha Na turned around instantly

"Gotcha" she laughed and pointed at Ha Na teasingly

"ugh" Ha Na let her go and joined the rest Goddess for what ever was left of practice. They danced through a few songs and ran their choreography as many times before they were drenched in sweat. Promotions were for a few weeks and Goddess had to have their dance down to the T. It wasn't hard since the song was a moderate speed. The hard part was getting every body to be in sync. Cheonsa felt like everyone in the room was on edge. At what point had they gotten there. At what point had the members begun to resent each other? She glanced around the room and Hae Ra and Ha Na constantly giving each other the death glare and every now and then she would get a weird look from Sarang. Cheonsa looked away awkwardly

"was that the last one?" Sarang leaned on a chair in the corner of the room "are we done?" she looked to Euna for confirmation. Usually she would be the one leading the practice but lately she didn't have it in her

"I think we ran it enough for today" Euna nodded "lets go. Tomorrow we film the Music Video"

"already?" Mina spoke up

"we're actually behind. We should have released it first. Now we're just playing catch up" Hae Ra shook her head as she grabbed her things

"Its not that bad, I think we're doing good"

"Good isn't good enough Ha Na." Hae Ra hissed. They made eye contact that neither one would break

"well good is better than botching it" Ha Na spat out

Hae Ra scoffed "and who's fault do you think it would be? The five girls who were actually here for practice or..." gestured at her

"I was here!" Ha Na exclaimed "I was late by like 10 minutes, I'm sorry if my leg bleeding out was inconvenient for you"

"Okay girls, enough. This is not the place" Euna could hear people walking by "Lets take this home" she tossed Ha Na a water bottle "you look exhausted"

Hae Ra opened to say something again but Mina cut her off by tossing her a towel "just let it go" she murmured

Goddess arrived at their dorm room, the girls dispersed to their rooms without speaking or turning the lights on. They shuffled through the dorm in the dark finding their rooms. The only ones who seemed to be on good terms were Cheonsa and Ha Na.

Cheonsa glanced down at Ha Na's leg "You really danced with that thing on?" she tried not to laugh at the bulging gauze stuck to her leg

"It doesn't hurt" Ha Na shrugged "Eun- um...he wrapped it over and over again until he used all the gauze" she chuckled remembering what happened

"He seems nice" Cheonsa goaded

Ha Na shrugged "I guess he can be" she closed the door and locked it to make sure they wouldn't be interrupted

"What's going on?" Cheonsa settled into her bed

"The reason I was late to practice was because I followed Hae Ra into an alley." Ha Na rushed the words out. "Mina went with me, but I don't think she saw Hae Ra. Anyways. That's not the weirdest part."

"Spill" Cheonsa urged

"Eun Woo was there."

"NO" Cheonsa gasped "why?"

Ha Na shrugged "Beats me, but he knew exactly how to get out of there without being noticed by those thugs-"

"Thugs?" Cheonsa's voice softened "Ha Na what are you getting yourself into?"

"What do you mean?" Ha Na let herself fall on her bed

"I mean first the hit and run a few days ago and now thugs?" Cheonsa crossed her legs "This all sounds a little bit shady"

"Well then I guess you don't want to go back with me tomorrow?" Ha Na raised an eyebrow

"Go back? For what?" Cheonsa demanded "No, you can't"

"There are too many questions that I don't have answers to. And if I go back then at least I can answer one of them."

"Which is?"

"It's a secret" Ha Na laid down on her bed and stared at the glow in the dark stars that she had stuck on the ceiling. There had been someone in that tent for sure. Eun Woo was hiding something...or someone. What if Hae Ra had been inside the tent and that's how she got back to the room before them? Ha Na discarded that idea as soon as she finished it, there was no way in could have been Hae Ra. How would she have gotten back with out being seen? It didn't make sense. None of it did.

"I don't like this" Cheonsa brought her out of her deep thought "you better not go tomorrow" she warned

"maybe not tomorrow... but soon" she felt herself drifting off

"not ever! You can't just go looking for trouble and then blaming Hae- Ha Na?" Cheonsa called her "Are you asleep?" when she got no answer, she turned the lights in the room off and tossed a blanket over her before climbing back into her own bed. Ha Na was too caught up in this mystery. Cheonsa wondered if she was focusing enough on the group?

Ha Na woke up after hearing her door slam. Cheonsa rummaged through the room and somehow ended up jumping on Ha Na's bed pulling at the covers

"Ha Na?" she whispered

Ha Na groaned "Five more minutes" she flipped over

"Ha Na" Cheonsa's tone change "Wake up"

"Hm?"

"Remember the girl?"

Ha Na tossed back around and pulled the covers off her face "yeah?" she slowly sat up, suddenly interested in the conversation

"She was Shin Woo's daughter"

Ha Na stayed frozen, the words echoed in her mind but no matter how many times she went over it, it still didn't make any sense.

"Are you sure?"

Cheonsa nodded "Someone came by earlier to talk to Euna. They told her Shin Woo would be out for a while so that he could get things worked out and that we'll have another manager in the meantime"

"What?" Ha Na threw the rest of the covers off and jumped out of bed "How long ago did they leave?"

"Just now" Cheonsa followed after Ha Na closely

Ha Na walked in to the living room in her pajamas and barefooted. All the girls were huddled in the living room.

"Hey" Euna made room for Ha Na on the couch

"Is it true? Shin Woo is taking a leave?"

"Looks like it. There was an accident in the garage a few nights ago, turns out it was his daughter." Sarang hugged her pillow "he hasn't shown up since then"

"This morning Yong Gi Oppa came to tell us that we'll have a temporary manager while Shine Woo is able to come back"

"They didn't say who, did they?" Ha Na looked around the room at the girls pained faces

"No, but he's coming by later today to brief us I guess" Euna shrugged

"I'm sure everything will be fine. Shin Woo will be fine and he'll be back in no time" Hae Ra stood up as if the meeting was over

"Lets just be ready for when he comes. Good impressions are everything" Euna looked around the room for something to clean up

"Yes, well this was nice. But I have some business to attend to" Hae Ra walked past everyone

"But you'll be here when the new manager comes right? You can't miss it" Euna Panicked

"I won't" Hae Ra waved her off

"Okay, MV filming was canceled but that doesn't mean a free day. Go to the practice rooms, get in some extra time." Euna picked up the stuff on the coffee table "And make sure to be back here on time please!" she shouted as Hae Ra left the dorm and Mina went to her room.

Ha Na lingered in the living room not sure what to do next. She needed to find out what Hae Ra's business was, because as far as she knew, Hae Ra didn't have anything scheduled, but she also wanted to see if Shin Woo was really okay. In the middle of her train of thought derailing, there was a knock on the door.

"Ha Na could you get that please" Euna struggled with water bottles in her arms

Ha Na opened the door casually

"Hey" Kai grinned

"What are you doing here?" she hissed closing the door behind her before Euna could see him

"I wanted to check on you after yesterday" he chuckled "So is Eun Woo like... your boyfriend or something?" his face became serious as he crossed his arms

Ha Na chuckled "is that why you're here? To get the latest scoop?"

Kai looked around to make sure they we're alone "I think I'm entitled to know if you're going out with someone" he leaned in

"well, he's not my boyfriend. In fact, he thinks you're my boyfriend. If anything, I'm pretty sure you ruined any chance I had" Ha Na realized what she had said. She looked at Kai hoping her wouldn't have caught it but Kai was smart. He smirked and un crossed his arms

"so we like him" it wasn't a question but a statement

"I didn't say that-"

"You implied it" he shrugged it off with a laugh "Anyways, I didn't come for that. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I heard the girl that got hit was your managers daughter?"

"Yeah, we found out this morning" Ha Na shuddered "the weird thing is...I didn't know Shin Woo Oppa had a daughter. He's pretty young"

"People have children right out of high school" Kai added "it wouldn't be that weird"

"He's never mentioned a daughter though, Kai." Ha Na shook her head "I don't know something feels really off about all of this"

"all of this?" Kai questioned "You mean there's more to it?"

"a lot more" Ha Na nodded

"Are you going to fill me in, or keep me guessing?" Kai's voice traveled down the hallway and Ha Na panicked. Goddess and Astro weren't the only ones that lived on that floor and having a conversation out in the open was not helping her keep her secret a secret.

"It's a lot to fill you in on right now. I'll call you tonight" Ha Na checked to make sure no one was in the hall way before hugging him goodbye but it was as if the universe was conspiring against her. The door to Astro's dorm and Goddess's dorm opened at the same time. Kai stood facing Sarang who stood in the door way with Cheonsa hovering behind her while Ha Na faced Eun Woo in his doorway.

"Nice to see you again" his words were short and sharp "I'd stay and chat but-I don't want to" Eun Woo made eye contact with Ha Na and for a second she felt bad letting him believe that Kai was her boyfriend. She wanted to tell him the truth but that meant coming clean and it wasn't something she was ready to do. She didn't know if she could trust Eun Woo. She watched him reach the elevator. She had been too caught up in what Eun Woo might think that she didn't realize the dilemma that Kai had gotten himself into. Sarang was demanding an answer but to what?

"I just had a question" Kai insisted

"And you just had to come all the way to our dorm? At this hour? Not to mention hugging Ha Na in the middle of the hallway?" Sarang scoffed "Yeah, it all makes sense"

Cheonsa glanced from Kai to Ha Na then back to Kai. Both of them stood their hanging their heads like they had committed high treason.

"Sarang, He came to look for her. We should give them their privacy" Cheonsa turned back into the dorm

"You really came to look for her?" Sarang asked

Ha Na could hear the desperation in her tone as if she wanted him to suddenly admit that he was there to see her and not Ha Na. Ha Na wondered if anything had happened. Now that she thought about it, Sarang had been in just as bad of a mood as Hae Ra was.

"I did" Kai nodded firmly "But I was just leaving" he turned to Ha Na "I'll see you" he whispered and headed down the hall. He hesitated when he spotted Eun Woo still waiting for the elevator

"Its been pretty slow lately" Eun Woo stated without looking at Kai

"Yeah, took me forever to get up here" Kai stood next to him awkwardly

Neither one looked at the other as they stood waiting. Ha Na could hear her heart beat increasing. She felt that Sarang and Cheonsa could hear it too.

"Are you going to stay out here?" Cheonsa moved out of Sarang's way as she made a dramatic turn back inside

"hm?" Ha Na couldn't take her eyes off the guys

"Ha Na?" Cheonsa pulled on her arm

"Um- yeah, you go back inside" Ha Na waved her off

Cheonsa chuckled "so which one is it?" she whispered

"What?" Cheonsa captured Ha Na's attention "what do you mean?"

"Who is the guy you like?" Cheonsa grinned from ear to ear

"Neither" Ha Na hissed, dragging Cheonsa back inside and closing the door behind her

"Sorry for asking" Cheonsa laughed her way to their bed room and Ha Na was closely behind her

Ha Na knew it wasn't fair to keep Kai hidden and it wasn't fair to Cheonsa that Ha Na kept lying. She didn't want their friendship to become strained because Ha Na was afraid. Kai would understand why she told Cheonsa, in fact he might even appreciate having someone else in the inner circle. "Okay" Ha Na closed the door and locked it. she looked at Cheonsa and decided it was time for her to come clean to the one person who knew everything about her. 

"You want to know a secret?"
