Cafe LostGrabbing an apron, Yesung entered the kitchen, wiping down the surfaces. Sunlight poured in from the nearby window, as he hummed softly at the nice weather. It had been almost a month since he had started working here and had almost gotten used to the cafe and its irregularities. Almost.

‘Yesung-ah, This cafe isn’t just a normal cafe. It has a mind of its own, in a way. In the morning it may seem like any other shop, but at night it’s a different story. Remember that night you were beaten up and brought here by Siwon? The cafe naturally finds people who are truly lost and gives them a place to stay at night. This cafe has been around for decades, and was left to me by my mom. I’ve been living here all my life....Some call it a curse, but I guess it’s just the rule of the cafe. I can never leave the cafe for more 24 hours. Trust me...I’ve tried. There are a few more ‘rules’ , but I don’t want to overwhelm you right now.’
Heechul’s words had lingered in his mind, as he busied himself with the morning orders. In the first week he had been here, they had made sure he felt at home. He still couldn’t forget what Heechul had done to a poor customer one day out of boredom.
‘I can’t ban people, but what I can do is accidentally spill hot drinks over them.’ Smirking slightly, he surveyed the cafe, eyes lighting as he pointed a finger towards a customer. ‘Look at that man over there, he seems exactly the type of person I hate. The playboy....ughhh’ Rolling his eyes, he winked at Yesung before moving over to grab a cup of hot coffee. The poor man ended up with a scorching mess on his lap and a (not-so) apologetic Heechul.
The smell of coffee wafted upstairs, waking up a tired Leeteuk. Trudging down the stairs with his tussled bed-head, he heard the chuckle behind him as he glanced into the mirror. Shaking his head, he combed it roughly, as he entered the kitchen. ‘Morning….. You’re up early again?’ Nodding at the elder, he excused himself when he felt a buzzing from the back of his pocket.
Stepping out into the brightly lit alley at the back of the cafe, Yesung fished out his new phone. He hadn’t gotten to exploring much with, and squinted at the unknown caller ID.
‘Hello?’
‘Is this Yesung? This is Siwon……I was wondering if you would like to meet up……anytime is fine with me……tomorrow 11? sounds nice, right, I’ll see you there…..’
Hanging up, a small smile crept up his face when he jumped at the sudden shout from above.
“ WE APPROVE, YESUNG-AH! “ Looking up sharply, he caught sight of a smirking Heechul, head poking out from the window. He felt his face flush from embarrassment….Neither of the two would give him a easy time about this, especially Heechul. That man was bound to make fun of him for days. Sighing, he resigned to his fate as he returned to the kitchen, ready to start of the new day,
