It was another sunny day around the capital of Hanyang.

The day was suddenly new to the ladies inside the Infirmary. Today, they've only had a few patients visit them

Yerim slumped her on the table bed and fan herself, "Doing nothing is exhausting too, right?"

Byul-yi laughed at the youngest one, "Yes, you only did this morning is to eat and talk" she said that burst Sooyoung into laughter

Yerim just twitches her lips upon the two and suddenly her eyes caught Joohyun's presence who came out from her mother's lodge

"Hey" Yerim elbowed the two, "It is just me or Joohyun eonnim is gloomy since the night you went with the Princess?"

Sooyoung frowned and followed the younger one's gaze, "Maybe because she missed her silver spoon?" She smiled mischievously and Yerim immediately agreed by clasping her hands to her

Squealing quietly together and Byul-yi just scoffed in disbelief at her friends, "Do you think she'd fall for that man? Have you forgotten?"

"Why? It'll change someday, tch. You're such a pain on the neck" Sooyoung spit out on her face

Byul-yi just raised her hand and turn her gaze back to Joohyun who's now busy talking with a few patients

"Well, I guess Yerim is right. I wonder what happened to her since last night"

"See. Anyway, Soo eonnim. What did the Princess tell you?" Yerim said

"Oh, I haven't told you about it. She wants me to be her special friend. She'll tell me her secrets and I'll tell mine too."

"You agreed?"

"Of course! She's comfortable to be with around. Still, she's a Princess"

Inside the King's quarter, each minister’s rank of Rites keeps their eyes on the ground as a sign of guiltiness. One of them couldn't speak in front of the King

"Councilor Bae gave me a report about the envoys from Ming Dynasty will take a visit 14 days from now" He frustratingly stated in front of them

"You all know how vigilant Emperor Zhu is. All of you are pretty aware of it, right?"

"Yes, Your Majesty" they quavered in fears. They're scared that the King might throw his madness on them

"Your Majesty, please let me have a word with you" The Head Minister of Rites bowed at King Dongwon

"If you just did your work well, I didn't have to worry about the drought" The King said sternly, "Princess Seungwan and Princess Yongsun's birthday is tomorrow and you let this happen?"

"Forgive me, Your Majesty. But the drought comes when Yin energy is insufficient.." Minister of Rites stated, "We closed the south gate which has strong the Yang energy and opened the north-"

"Yin and Yang, I don't care about energy stuff anymore!" The King cut his words and slammed the royal table in front of him, "Is there any realistic solution you could say?!"

The Ministers just let out a sigh and let their heads face the ground

Then, the 2nd rank minister spoke, "Your Majesty, I'd suggest holding a ritual for rain at Seonnongdan and Sajikdan"

King Dongwon forehead creased, "Do you mean that I should cozy up to the Sky?"

"Yes, Your Majesty. That way you could give comfort to the people and show your respect to the Sky" The Minister explained but King just rolled his eyes in unsatisfactory

Then, an announcement can be heard outside.

"Your Majesty, the three councilors are here" A Eunuch announced outside the King's chamber

King Dongwon composed himself and said, "Let them in"

The door opened and the three councilors immediately showed their courtesy on the King

"We heard what has just happened, Your Majesty" Councilor Bae said and took a glance at the ministers

"Lord Bae, we apologize for our inconveniences that'd cause a chaos about envoys visit" The head minister bowed at Councilor Bae

Then, Councilor Jung, butts in, "Your Majesty, please hear my suggestion"

King Dongwon gave him a once-over before he nodded his head

"According to my studies at Gwansanggam Myeonggwahak that when there's a severe drought, a Royal Wedding can be helpful" Councilor Jung asserted, and his statement made Councilor Bae and Choi looked at him. Even the ministers

"Speaking of which, Your Majesty. What about arranging a marriage to the Crown Prince?" 

King Dongwon eyes narrowed at him, "My Crown Prince?"

Councilor Jung nodded his head, "The marriage will invite more Yin energy to our dynasty and strike a balance between Yang and Yin"

His statement made the King speechless for a while, he was thinking how would his daughter Seulgi react to arranging a marriage on her just because of the beliefs

"Councilor Bae.." He called out for the Head state councilor

"Yes, Your Majesty" Councilor Bae stepped forward

"Is my Crown Prince already old enough to get married?" The King asked him

"His Royal Highness is already old enough to get married to a future Queen of Joseon, Your Majesty" Councilor Bae answered as he nodded his head

Then, Councilor Jung also stepped forward, "Holding a royal marriage for the Crown Prince would also be easy before His Highness sit on his throne, Your Majesty"

There was silence for a while before King Dongwon decided. He stepped down on his throne and went to his Three Councilors

Meanwhile, in the garden, Seulgi was walking around, letting the flowers brush through her hand. While her servants are following her behind

"Your Highness, your lecture will start in an hour. We should head back to your quarter to change" Lady Choi said to Seulgi

The Crown Prince looked at her, glaring at her, "I know. Let him wait for heaven's sake, Lady Choi" she hissed and continue walking

Lady Choi and Eunuch Shin looked at each other, nodded their heads as a sign to let the Crown Prince

"I wonder Royal Tutor Kim don't give up on teaching our unpredictable Crown Prince-"

Seulgi turned around, "What did you say, Eunuch Shin Donghee?"

Eunuch Shin immediately halted on his track and zip his mouth, as well as Lady Choi

"I..I" He stuttered and met Seulgi's eyes. The Crown Prince raised her brows, waiting for his answer

"You better not say that again or I'll ditch out again without anyone of you knowing so my Father would scold you. Yes? Eunuch Shin?"

"F-forgive me, Your Highness"

Seulgi glared at him for seconds before turning around and walk again

But then something caught her eyes. It was Yongsun with her noble lady robe talking to Seungwan.

"Stay here, don't follow me" Seulgi told her servants

Then, she discreetly went towards the two to eavesdrop on them

"Don't lie to me, Kim Yongsun. You're going to the infirmary" Seungwan said to Yongsun

Seulgi frowned, "Are they planning to leave the palace?" She mumbled to herself

"Fine. I'm going there. Do you want to go with me?"

Seungwan held her chin and pondered for a while, "Hm, I think we should go together"

"What about the Crown Prince? She'll look for us, I'm sure-"

"Kim Yongsun Eonnim, She has lectures to attend today. She-"

"You two are ditching me out, yes?"

The two princesses almost jumped out in surprise when Seulgi just appeared out of nowhere with a grin on her face

Knowing that there are no servants around them, both of them starts smacking Seulgi on her head

"Aw! Hey! Stop! It hurts!" Crown Prince grunts in pain, shielding herself with her arms

"Why did you just appear out of nowhere like this? Are you a frog?!" Seungwan hissed

"Also, we're not ditching you. We have our own ALONE time" Yongsun said, capitalizing the word alone to Seulgi

Seulgi scoffed and composes herself as she fixed her crown hat, "Stop touching my precious hair, or else I'll tell Father about this-"

"Or we tell Father too that you always leave the palace for Councilor Bae's only daughter?" Seungwan flashed a cocky smile that suddenly made Seulgi bulged her eyes out

"Y-yah-"

Suddenly, a Manly voice appeared behind them

"I didn't know that there's a gathering for princesses only here at the pond?"

They turned around and it was Junmyeon and Haneul. The two princesses bowed their heads to the two Prince

"Orabeoni"

Haneul turns her gaze at his sister, Seulgi. He eyed her from head to toe and flashed a small smile

"What did I tell you about your appearance as the Crown Prince of this country, Your Highness?"

Seulgi looked at him in confusion and Haneul went closer to her, "You will rule this country and you must keep yourself tidy" He said and leaned down to cut the snagged thread on Seulgi's robe wrist sleeve using his teeth

"Aww, how I wish my brother is like Prince Haneul too" Yongsun touched her chest in awe and later on, shot a glare on Junmyeon, "Right, Kim Junmyeon?"

The Prince blink his eyes twice, giving his older sister an innocent look, "What?"

Yongsun just rolled his eyes that made them burst into laughter

"Anyway" Seungwan composed herself, "I'm going to the marketplace with Yongsun Eonnim, I excuse myself now" she said and bowed her head, neither Yongsun

"Where are you two going?" Junmyeon raised his brows

"She has just said that we are going to Marketplace, slowpoke" Yongsun flicked her brother's forehead

"Aw! Noona that hurts!" Junmyeon pouts and glared at her

"Enough the childish act, you two must leave now and go back before the sun sets. Understood?" Haneul stated

Yongsun and Seungwan nodded their heads before they bid goodbye to them

As they left, Bogum came with a blue headband on his forehead with a tiger symbol. It shows that he'll have the sword training

"Are you all busy?" He asked them with a smile on his face

"Why? Are you going to the training field?" Junmyeon asked him back as he eyed his cousin's appearance

Bogum nodded his head and went towards Seulgi, "Hyungnim, do you want to have sword training with me?"

Seulgi who didn't have time to bond with her stepbrother nodded her head in enthusiasm

"I'll skip my lectures today for you" She said that made Haneul look at her, "Do you want to come with us?" She asked Haneul and Junmyeon

"I'm in" Junmyeon said and Seulgi's smile widened. Then, she turns her look to Haneul

Her anticipating eyes made Haneul give up, "Fine. But don't be absent from your lectures next time. Do you understand?"

"If I do?"

Haneul smiled and leaned to Seulgi's ear, "I'll take the throne from you"

His statement bulged Seulgi's eyes, "W-what-"

She was cut off by Haneul's laughter

"Why are you laughing?" Seulgi frowned

"Nothing. Let's just go and have a brotherly bond" Haneul said and wrapped his arms to Bogum and Seulgi as they all walked together, leaving Junmyeon behind

Junmyeon just twitched his lips up, "Hey! I know that I'm your cousin but don't abandon me like this!"

"Hyung-nim!!"

Councilor Bae left the palace and went to the Infirmary

As he arrived, he saw Seungwan and Yongsun with their respective right-hand lady

"Councilor Bae. You have an assembly with His Majesty, right?" Yongsun asked him

"Yes, Your Highness, but what are you two doing here?" Councilor Bae asked after he showed his courtesy

Then, Sooyoung and Byul-yi came wearing their casual noble clothes

"Uncle" The two greeted him

"You're hanging out with the Princesses?" Councilor Bae asked the two. And Sooyoung nodded her head in enthusiasm

"They're our friends-"

"Wait for me would you!" Yerim suddenly came out that surprised Councilor Bae

His eyes went to Yongsun and back to Yerim again

"Yerim, are you coming with them too?" Councilor Bae asked the younger one

"Hi, Uncle. Yes! I'm so excited to go with them. They're the Princesses for heaven's sake!" Yerim joyfully stated in front of them
