NEXT DAY

Yuna returned to her consciousness next day in the early morning. She slowly opened her eyes and saw the unfamiliar ceiling.
 

"Where am I?" she murmured to herself.
 

Yuna struggled to get up to sit. She wandered her eyes around but she saw nobody. She suddenly remembered about the scenes Seokgi mercilessly beat her. She burst into tears all of a sudden.
 

"Hik hik I'm so scared. I'm hurt." she bawled on bed with fear and physical pain.

Jin who was washing his face inside bathroom soon rushed to come out to see Yuna after heard her loud crying.

"Yuna, Yuna! Why are you crying? Don't cry!" he went to pat her head and asked worriedly.
 

Yuna raised up her face to look at the familiar figure.

"Jin-shi!" she exclaimed in disbelief to see it's him.

"Yes it's me. Why are you crying?" he asked her worriedly again.
 

They got eyes contact. Jin naturally showed his worried face to her while Yuna felt awkward with his sudden kindness and care. She made space from him.
 

Jin realized her uncomfortable feeling. He stopped patting on her head and stepped one step backwards to make space from her too.

"You fainted in the office last night. I took you to hospital... How are you feeling now?" Jin told what happened.
 

Yuna tried to recall her memory but she couldn't remember when she fainted. She gave up on thinking.

"I'm feeling better. Thanks for taking me to hospital!" she said without lifting her face up to look at him.

Jin could feel she was still scared and upset with him. He felt so heavy.

"I'm sorry for what my sister did to you yesterday. I know it was..." while Jin was trying to apologize, Yuna raised her face to look at him and cut his speech.

"I deserved it. I hurt her. She should be angry like that. This worthless girl like me deserved something worst like this. Please don't apologize!" Yuna interrupted his speech with painful reply.

Jin was sad to hear she was repeating his words for calling her worthless girl yesterday.
 

"I don't blame you. I'm not angry with you nor Seokgi-shi. I was bad. I should be punished like this. But can you stop all bullying right here? I'm really hurt. Please let me date Jonghyun-shi freely! I already got your and her punishment." Yuna cried, begging him.

"Yuna-ah!!!" Jin became fragile to see her suffering. He kept looking at crying Yuna with guilty.

"I don't have parents or brother. Now Jonghyun-shi chose to come into my life and loves me, I really feel lucky for that. Can you spare this orphan? Although I can't have a family this life, I wanna make my own family with the man I love. I know you love your sister so much but please have some mercy on this brotherless girl. I've been really alone. I beg you, Jin-shi." Yuna burst out crying louder and louder.

Jin couldn't hold his tears anymore. He started sobbing with a great pity on her.
 

Jin approached her again and softly pulled her into his embrace. Yuna continued crying inside his embrace with being patted on head by Jin's warm hand.

"Good kid, don't cry! I promise you can have Jonghyun. You can make a family with him if you both really want to. So stop crying! You're still weak." he consoled her.

Yuna still remained crying out her pain. Jin continued hugging and patted her head.

After a moment, Yuna fell asleep in that position.

Jin laid her to sleep on bed back.

"I don't have father, mother nor brother... Please at least let me have the man I love. Please hik hik... Jonghyun-shi, Jonghyun-shi..." Yuna slept talking. Even in her sleep, she couldn't rest well.

It made Jin realize how terrible mistake he has done to his half-sister. Jin cried out his sorrow for her while looking at her pitiful face.
 

"I know you don't deserve this. I know you have no mistakes but what should I do? Should I reveal your real identity and take you into the family so that you can have a family you have been lacking of? But how about Seokgi? She is unlikely to be able to accept you, Yuna. I don't really know what I should do with you... Give me more time! Give brother more time, my dear! I promise for the time being I will try my best to protect you from all the unpleasant things." Jin expressed his burden to sleeping Yuna then continued sobbing next to her.

That morning Mr. Kim came to the same hospital for check-up. Jin went to see his father and told him about a staff is being hospitalized. Mr. Kim asked to go to see Yuna.

Mr. Kim was shocked to see her condition. He asked Jin about what happened. Jin had no choice but to reveal about his sister's violence on Yuna and Yuna's relationship with Jonghyun.

"Seokgi is too much. And you, why don't you educate your sister, Jin?" Mr. Kim expressed his anger to Jin.
 

"You're a big brother. But what you have been doing is spoiling your sister without thinking. Look, she hurts an innocent girl. I have to talk with Seokgi about that arranged engagement. She should give up since Jonghyun doesn't feel the same for her." Mr. Kim added.

"Dee, Papa! Maybe you should talk with her. She doesn't listen to me." Jin guiltily replied.

Mr. Kim spent another long moment to look at the sleeping little girl and felt sorry for her.

Jin felt emotional to see how his father is being so soft with Yuna.

"It's probably the bond between father and daughter." -Jin-

“Why can’t she be contacted?” Jonghyun has made phone called to Yuna for full morning but she can’t be reached. He decided to go to Jin’s office.

Jin and Yuna weren’t at office yet. Jonghyun frowned. He started sensing something unwell. He found her bag and even her phone on her working desk but it was somehow messy. It made him more worried.

He left company and drove to her place. He rang the bell many times but there was no answer. The gate is being locked so he can know she isn’t at home either.

“There must be something not right… Yuna, what happened to you?”

Jonghyu
