--13 Years Later...--

~Min-Jung's POV~

I inhaled the summer breeze outside. Yeah as the author forgot to tell you - which is a shame of her [hey!] ok sorry - the portal is open only at night and when it's daytime here, the portal dissappears and mystical plants replace it. Humans and any living thing are not to touch or get near the plants as they feed on living things which creeps me out.

Suddenly, I heard a faint meow. I looked for the source of sound and spotted a bush rustling. I went over to it and looked behind it. There was a thin, dirty ginger cat with green eyes. [Cute!] Uggh you always find any cat cute author! [Sorry, but can't help it.] *sigh*

 [See, I told you he's cute! XD] Yeah, yeah, he is kinda cute ^^

I saw blood on the base of the tail and black surrounds it. I think it's burned. I almost cried. [Me too *hiks*]. I carried the cat inside to treat the burn. When I got inside, Mum was like, "OMG where did you get that cat from?!!!" And I was like, "What's up with her?" Mum calmed down a little. "It's ok Mum. I found it whining in a bush near by and I saw the burn here. I just wanna treat it." I said. Mum looked at me teasingly, "Really? Just want to treat it? I thought you want to keep it." "Oh MUM!!!" [No Min-Jung's mum! Just give it to me.]

"It's ok, you can keep it dear, as long as he behaves well and doesn't dirty the place!" "Yay mum! Thank you so much!" I was so happy that I hugged mum really hard. "There there don't suffocate me!" Mum laughed and broke the hug. I laughed too and went to get the first aid-kit. Then I came and took the cat and retire to my room.

I looked at the burn and put those medicines and whatsoever it's called. Then I wrap bandage around the burn. While all this time, the cat stayed still, it's shing eyes staring at me that it creeps me out. "What's the matter? Why are you staring at me?" The cat gave a meow and looked away.  I just sighed and shook my head. "I think I shall call you Leaf. Because of those bright green eyes. How bout that?" 

Leaf-to-be seemed to be considering it and then he snuggled into me, purring. I sighed happily and hugged the cat. Then I left him and went to the kitchen to look for something for Leaf to eat. I found some leftover chicken and took that. I went to my bedroom and gave that to Leaf. He's so cute when he eats! [XD]
