I smiled at the computer screen as I saw the reply from the girl of my dreams. We had been messaging each other for the past few months, but would never meet up. I didn’t know her real name, but I knew that she went to my school, which narrows it down to any girl in my school, which is a lot of girls. I messaged back and bit my lip nervously.

NinjaPanda93: we should meet soon; I want to speak to you properly in person

SecretGirl24: I can meet you tomorrow, on the school roof at lunchtime

NinjaPanda93: Yes! I’ll be there

That night I slept soundly knowing that I would meet the girl tomorrow.

The next day at lunch time I rushed out of my lesson, ignoring the shouts from my friends. They didn’t need to know where I was going. I burst through the roof doors and looked around. I noticed a girl leaning on the wall and walked over to her slowly.
