Wendy woke up not knowing how to force Irene into confessing and apologising. Instead of pushing Irene’s buttons into irritation; the only buttons that Wendy could actually push was her smartphone’s. Wendy’s smartphone was fully charged thanks to the vampire, but it was ironic that Wendy was using her smartphone for research in revenge.

Wendy’s inner researcher mode activated as she types frantically on her phone. “What do vampires find repulsive?” She hoped that the artificial intelligence, Siri, would be able to help her out.

“Vampires are powerful creatures and only find a few things…” Siri blurted out at full volume before Wendy switched off her phone.

“I will end you Siri. In fact, I should just buy another phone and replace you other AI’s like Bixby or Alexa,” Wendy muttered to herself, hoping that Irene would remain oblivious to Siri’s slip-up.

“I see you're doing research on me? Why don't you get a primary source of information?” Irene smiles coyly, raises her eyebrow and speaks huskily, “What did you ask Siri that you couldn't ask me? I won't bite…at least not yet.”

Wendy stumbles out a response after noticing Irene’s wandering eyes and flirtatious gaze. “What do vampires find romantic?” Wendy mentally face-palms herself, before excusing herself from the vampire’s house. “I have a lot to prepare.” Wendy winks at Irene and makes a quick escape.

Wendy returned to Irene’s house after stocking up on food and snacks. She puts the items far from the blood pouches in the large refrigerator, and sees a mini bar fridge, in the corner of the kitchen. She is curious about Irene’s alcohol preference and personality. “Is she a wine an cheese woman? A shaken, not stirred martini drinker. Or a one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor woman?” Wendy wondered to herself.

She opens the mini fridge hoping to indulge herself in Irene’s mystery alcohol stash but is taken by surprise when she sees even more blood bags. These blood bags, however, were  labelled with AB, A, B and O. 

“She must be some sort of health conscious, hippie vampire.” Wendy smirks in amusement as an idea comes to her mind. “I wonder what will happen if I combine all four blood types.” Wendy creates the blood cocktail and placed it into the main refrigerator.

Wendy continues fidgeting in the kitchen and preparing her plan since Irene is nowhere to be seen. She chops and crushes away, expertly using the knife to make the anti-vampire concoction. Her eyes water due to the stinging sensation mixed with guilt but she convinces herself it's all for a good cause.

Irene gags at the pungent smell of onion and garlic in the air. “Does human food smell that awful or is it just Wendy’s?”

“So... What are you cooking?” 

“According to my beloved Siri, garlic and onions are unappealing to vampires. I thought that if I create a garlic and onion mixture, it'll reverse the vampire process. Also, garlic and onions are great for strengthening hair but should be left overnight to work.”

“I'm glad I didn't drink Wendy’s blood. Wendy’s craziness might have entered my bloodstream.” Irene shudders her jealousy of Wendy’s girlfriend away. “At least Wendy is Siri‘s problem and not mine,” Irene thought while smiling.

After having eaten garlic during all the barbeques during her human days, Irene built up a tolerance but the smell of Wendy’s bull along with the garlic and onions overwhelmed the vampire. “I'm just going to get some fresh air.” Irene strides towards the door but is abruptly stopped by Wendy.

Wendy traps Irene against the door, pinning her hands back and sandwiches her legs firmly between the brunette’s leg. “Admit it and I'll let you out. I'll even get rid of the garlic smell and clear the air between us.”

“Admit what? Things I find romantic? I'm not sure about other vampires but I love bubble baths with rose petals, cuddling on the sofa, drinking wine on the rooftop and spontaneous weekend trips.”

Wendy’s glare falters for a moment after hearing what the vampire loves but is adamant on getting Irene’s confession. She yanks Irene by the collar, gazing straight into the brunette’s eyes. Irene’s eyes close in anticipation of their first kiss. All thoughts of the kiss shatter when Wendy opens , slowly breathing out and emphasizing each word with garlicky breath.

“Not. That. Tell. Me. The. Truth. About. The. Bite. Marks.” Wendy went closer and closer towards Irene’s face, ready to kiss the truth out of Irene.

Irene’s hand flung up covering her nose and mouth as she caved into Wendy’s interrogation. ‘It was just makeup. I wanted to trick you because I was angry but a part of me did not want to say goodbye to you and never see you again. I’m sorry for being selfish but I'm also not.  You'll have to excuse me.” Irene lifts Wendy up and places her away from the door.

“I thought sunlight will kill you.” Wendy sounded concerned as she does not wish to harm the vampire.

“I photosynthesize in the sun. All that vegan blood...” Irene’s voice is laced with sarcasm. “You better get rid of the garlic smell to clear the air between us. Brush your teeth.”

“Wait! Drink this chilled drink while you wait outside. It's hot outside.” Wendy absentmindedly grabbed the A-B-AB-O cocktail giving it to Irene.
