Yerin woke up to her alarm clock she set on her phone the night before. Her eyes feeling puffy and cheeks covered with dry tears, still feeling tight in her chest after last night's crying. As she sat up on her bed, she checked her phone to see a notification from her mother. 

[Good morning Sunshine, hope you had a good first day at school, remember that dad and I love you so much!]. 

Yerin gave a light smile upon seeing the message and replied, making the tightness in her chest to subside. Even though she doesn’t remember much of her memories with her parents, she still felt the love from them which gave Yerin a comforting warmth. After replying to her mother, she got up and freshened up trying to conceal her puffy eyes. While going to the kitchen for breakfast, she noticed a note that was hanging on the fridge saying. 

“Had to go early to meet Eunha, I left some food for you in the fridge, and here is my number if you need anything....  x Sowon.” Upon reading this, left a smile on Yerin’s face. Thinking that Sowon was acting like a mother who left a note for her kid. Yerin quickly ate a quick breakfast and was heading out of her dorm.  

While in the corridor of the dorm rooms she suddenly hears someone's fast heavy footsteps while yelling a name. “YAH! HEEJIN WAIT UP!” Before Yerin could turn around and investigate who was screaming, she felt a force over her body which mad her fall backwards. When Yerin opened her eyes, she was surprised to see a panting Sinb that was over her. Yerin felt a warmth emerging to her cheeks as she turned bright red while staring at the girl above her. While the two girls stared at each other for a couple of seconds, Sinb quickly stood up while also having a pink flush over her cheeks. 

 “Ahem, I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you getting out of your room. Did I hurt you?” Sinb asked while reaching her hand out to help Yerin who took it carefully standing up herself. Even though Yerin only held Sinb’s hand for a short while, she could sense all of her warmth from Sinb’s hand rushing over her like a hot shower. Yerin stared for a bit at their intertwined hands before regaining focus as Sinb asked again if Yerin was okay. A simple nod and a smile were all yerin could deliver to indicate that she was okay. As Sinb let go of Yerin’s hand, she took a quick look before rushing to her friend who was laughing like a maniac a bit further down the hall. 

Yerin stood still for a moment trying to steady her hard beating heart before taking a deep breath and continuing her walk to the main building and her first class of the year.

Sowon had woken up really early to help her little bunny finish a project she had over the summer. As she saw Yerin sleeping with a frown on her face, an expression of sympathy and pity emerged to her face. She had heard the younger girl sob quietly during the night. Even though they hadn’t known each other for that long, Sowon knew that she had to protect her roommate at all cost and be there for her when she's having a hard time. She quickly wrote a note to her roommate and left the dorm as she had a bright smile on her face knowing that she will meet her favourite person in the world to help her finish a project. 

*Knock knock* “Eunha-yah open up.” Sowon had reached her friend's house and was waiting impatiently for her to open. After a short while a short figure opened the door and greeted the tall girl. “Sojung-unnie!” The short girl exclaimed while giving the tall girl a hug. While in the embrace, Sowon’s heart started to beat faster and louder. *Thump Thump*. Sowon and Eunha had been best friends since they were toddlers but not until recently, Sowon had felt stronger feelings towards the smaller girl. 

“Yah! Don’t call me by my real name Eunha-yah! You know I hate when people call me Sojung.” Sowon expressed while breaking the embrace leaving her ear tips flushed with pink.  

“I know Unnie, that’s why I call you that.” Eunha said in a teasing tone making the taller girl stick out her tongue to tease back. 

Sowon then gave a slight smile while letting out a sigh. “Okay, let’s just finish this project so that we can eat breakfast, I’m starving.” Sowon uttered while Eunha was already dragging the taller girl into the house. Eunha’s parents weren’t home since they often flew out of the country for business, leaving Eunha to take care of herself. She didn’t complain though since that made her often visit Sowon’s house, making the taller girls' family as her second family. Their houses were close to the college so Eunha decided to live in her own house. Sowon wanted to move out and live in a dorm since her mother’s new boyfriend started to live in their house which Sowon hated. She was never on good terms with her mom’s boyfriend, making her relationship with her mother weaken. 

Sowon started to help Eunha finish her project in her bedroom but was often stealing glances at the shorter girl focusing really hard making her slightly stick out her tongue. Sowon found Eunhas incredibly cute and couldn’t help but to smile like a fool. Of course, Eunha noticed the taller girls grin and found the opportunity to  unnie. 

“Is this project really that funny, Sojung?” Eunha teased which made the older girl frown. 

“No, it’s not that and STOP CALLING ME SOJUNG!” The taller girl said almost yelling her words making Eunha burst into laughter. After a short while of Sowon pouting and Eunha laughing, she suddenly stopped and moved closer to Sowon. Reaching her ear, Eunha said with a low voice. “Sojung”. As an attempt from the smaller girl to  unnie. This made Sowon shiver as the smaller girl was so close to her and almost whispering her name. A pink flush reached Sowon’s face as she felt the warmth from her friend. Trying to play it cool, Sowon just rubbed her ear to her shoulder and directed her focus back on the project. 

 “Tsk, let's just finish this.” Sowon said in a colder voice than intended. 

Eunha just pouted at her unnie’s statement. “Hmpf, you’re no fun, Sowon.” Eunha said still pouting. 

Sowon on the other had was left with a smirk on her face after she heard Eunha say her preferred name. Sowon got a warm feeling in her chest as Eunha said her name. 

After a while of shoulders brushing against each other leaving Sowon flushed pink. They were finally done with Eunhas project. Both of their stomachs rumbled since they haven’t eaten breakfast. The small girl stood up and insisted on cooking breakfast for Sowon as a thanks for helping her. They reached the kitchen and Eunha began cooking. As Sowon looked at her cute little bunny trying to reach for something on the highest shelf, tip-toeing trying to reach it, Sowon couldn’t help but to laugh.  

“Hahaha, need help shorty?” Sowon asked while still giggling. Eunha started to pout after Sowons comment.  

“At least I'm not as tall as a skyscraper, you giraffe.” Eunha teased making Sowon laugh a bit more.  

“Aww, come on Eunha-yah, I think your height is cute, it makes me just want to tease you.” Sowon expressed impressed with herself of that bold statement. Eunha turned to face Sowon and smiled as bright as the sun and Sowon swear that seeing her bunny smile like that made her the happiest person in the world. 

They started eating while having a nice conversation about anything and everything. Sowon loved that she could talk to Eunha about everything and never get bored. After both finished, they cleaned up and made their way to school.  

Before they separated to their own classes. Eunha waved to Sowon wanting her to bend down a bit. As Sowon bent down she suddenly felt a peck on her cheek from Eunha. 

“Thank you for helping me, see you later.” Eunha said quickly before running to her class leaving Sowon red as a tomato. Sowon just felt her cheek with her hand and smiled leaving for her class. After that little peck, Sowon felt like she could do anything in the world.

While coming back to her dorm after a long day of classes and lectures. She found a Yerin sleeping on top of books and papers. Sowon gave a smile to the girl who fell asleep as she studied thinking that she must have gotten a lot of work from school. Sowon placed a blanket over her roommate so that she wouldn’t get cold and get sick and went to bed herself. Thinking about the day that started with Eunha, made the taller girl blush hard as she hid under the blankets until she finally fell asleep.
