Sehun-Can you promise me something?
Hayoung-What is it?

Sehun-Promise me, if you and I still don't have anyone to love after 10 years from now, we will get married

Sehun said confidently. It was an indirect confession to Hayoung. But she would never get it

Hayoung chuckled cutely at Sehun. He wrote something in his dairy. Then he showed it to Hayoung

While capturing back his old memory, Sehun didn't realize that his phone was ringging. He immedietly picked it up

Sehun-Hello, Oh Sehun speaking? What? Alright, I will be there immedietly

Sehun grabbed his car key and left his house. He drove his car, rushing to the hospital

Sehun ran to the ward room number 17

Sehun-Hayoung ahh!
Nurse-Sorry sir, but you are not allowed to come in
Sehun-But...
Nurse-It's fine, Miss Hayoung will be injected with sedative. She will be able to relax
Sehun-Oo.. Okay. Please don't hurt her

Sehun went out and sat at the waiting chair. He waited for the doctor to come out with thumping heart

Sehun-Doctor, how is Oh Hayoung?

The doctor sighed

Doctor-She just attemped to suicide

Sehun caressed his fingers through Hayoung's hair

Sehun kissed Hayoung's forehead softly. She purred in her sleep

Hayoung was madly in love with Seungwoo. They had dated for three years until he decided to end their relationship just early this year

Hayoung was so depressed and couldn't control her own emotion. She always had suicide thought and even dared trying to take her own life

But Sehun was so in love with Hayoung since they were in middle school. He cared for this girl just way too much

Even though he was busy with work, Sehun would still make time to visit Hayoung every single day without fail

Hayoung lied on her mattress and closed her eyes. She was imagining Seungwoo coming to her and bring her out of his terrible hospital room

"She didn't mean it..." Sehun thought to himself

It always happened to Hayoung. People might say she was really insane

But she was only depressed and it made her emotions unstable

Hayoung-Leave me alone! Don't appear in front of me again!
Sehun-Okay I will leave. But with a condition

Sehun-I will only leave after you are completely asleep

Hayoung shut her eyes, pretending to be sleeping. She was trying to fool Sehun in the stupidiest way

Hayoung-This patient has slept. You can go home now
Sehun-Ahh so glad she is sleeping. Now I will go home. Bye...

Sehun moved his chair and it made clacking sound

Hayoung-Yey!

Hayoung cheered happily and shot up from her bed. When she turned, she saw Sehun was still at his chair

Hayoung pouted. Sehun stayed with her until she really asleep

Sehun-I'll come again tomorrow okay? Bye

Sehun whispered then kissed Hayoung's cheek dearly

The next day

Sehun came again to visit Hayoung. As soon as he walked in, it was chaotic

Hayoung-No! Go away!

Sehun-Nurse what happened?
Nurse-She doesn't want to eat. She hadn't eat anything since this morning
Sehun-It's okay, you can leave it to me. I will feed her

Hayoung grabbed the house phone which was placed beside her bed. Before Sehun realised, something hard knocked his head

Sehun was flustered. Then all he knew was... blood rolled down from his temple. Hayoung cried

Sehun-Okay... If this is what you want. Okay then

Sehun walked out of the hospital room, leaving Hayoung who was still wailing

Hayoung-Sehun? Sehun! Oh Sehun, where are you going?! You said you would stay with me until the end! Sehun!

Hayoung hugged her knees and cried really hard

Sehun was so heartbroken. His heart wrenched just to hear Hayoung's cry. But there was nothing he could do. Hayoung still loved her ex boyfriend

He felt so helpless. All he thought now was giving up on Hayoung

Sehun drove his car to somewhere instead of his house

Ding dong!

Sehun rang the bell to Seungwoo's house

Seungwoo-Wait a minute *opened the door* Sehun! Why do you...

Dush!

Sehun punched him real hard on the face. Blood squiggled out from the corner of his mouth

Seungwoo-Ya! Are you mad?!
Sehun-You are the the who is mad. What have you done to Hayoung?!

Seungwoo wiped off the blood with his sleeve. Sehun threw a postcard to Seungwoo's face

Sehun-Hayoung is at this hospital. You should know what to do

And Sehun left. Seungwoo picked up the postcard and read the hospital's name

After what happened the other day, Sehun didn't bother to visit Hayoung again. It was hard even for himself, but he tried. His heart was still ached even though it never bled

But today something pushed him to go to Hayoung. It was his old diary

Sehun pushed the door gently. But he found that Hayoung was not in her room. His heart wasn't at ease anymore

Sehun-Oh Hayoung?

Sehun saw something on the bed

"Thanks for everything you've done for me. Sorry for not appreciating you. I think I don't need all these anymore"

Sehun ran to the counter to ask about Hayoung's whereabout. But the nurse said she didn't see her anywhere

Sehun-What are you talking about? Don't you remember this?

Sehun waved his old diary in front of Hayoung

Sehun-If you don't have a partner in 10 years we marry each other. We even signed this Hayoung ahh. We promised 10 years ago. Don't you remember?

Hayoung sobbed

Hayoung-Sehun... I wasn't serious about that

Sehun felt like was struck by electricity. He heard the sound of glass scattering in the back of her mind

Sehun-Wwh... what?

Hayoung-I'm sorry Sehun. You are my best friend

Hayoung turned back and walked closer to the edge. Sehun shook his head as he came back to his sense

He ran up to Hayoung and grabbed her arms and turned their bodies around

Hayoung felt disoriented and she was being pushed harshly. Hayoung fell to the floor, groaning

Hayoung-Sehun!

Hayoung watched Sehun lost his balance and fell down from the building

Sehun tried to grab on something but failed. He felt his body floating in the air and hit the ground real hard

"Argh!"

Everyone gasped and yelled at the sight of Sehun lying helplessly on the ground with a pool of blood. He saw the world spinning above him

Hayoung-Sehun ahh!

Hayoung ran up to Sehun and dropped on her knees. She held his hand and kissed it, crying

Hayoung-Oh my God, what have I done!? Please hang on Sehun. Stay with me

Sehun-Ha..young?
Hayoung-Hmm?
Sehun-This.. Love
Hayoung-Yes I know. You love me, yes. You love me...

Sehun smiled weakly. But that wasn't his real massage. But before Sehun could tell her, he closed his eyes like he would never open again

Hayoung-Se.. Sehun? Sehun ahh? Oh Sehun!!!

Hayoung tapped Sehun's cheek but he did not move

Sehun was pronounced dead

What Sehun wanted to tell Hayoung was

His feeling for her would never fade

Even if he died, Sehun's love for Hayoung would still be there
