Soul marks exist as a way to easily identify a soulmate.
The first words spoken to you by your soulmate are inked onto your skin from the moment you’re born. And while most everyone hopes to find their match made by destiny, that isn’t always the case.
To Arin, she found love at first sight and hoped to fight the soul mark and pursue her own happiness.
To Juyeon, he strived to prove his love to his girlfriend despite the fact that neither of them had their first words marked on their skin.
She was just a girl trying to fight against fate.

A/N: Hello!~ I came across a writing prompt on Reddit about marks on your body of your soulmate's first words to you and I am a HUGE er for soulmate stories. Also, I recently started getting into The Boyz after RTK and they've become my top 2 ult group of all time. I got inspired to write this fic since The Boyz just announced a surprise September comeback! Also, I chose Arin as my female lead inspiration because I absolutely love her personality and seeing her MC with Soobin on Music Bank made me love her even more cause she's so adorable <3 This story will be concluded as a one-shot so I hope you all enjoy the sweet, but short fic :)
