[Yeri]

 

The class were busy until a man that looks very familiar went inside and talked with our teacher.   Oh my god dont tell me he is one of my father's bodyguard.  Ugh!  So embarassing

 

"Ms. Yeri Kim,  You can go now"

 

I was startled when she called my name. Me?  Go now? Where?  The man in uniform gestured something like asking me to get out of the room.  My classmates were staring at me, I immediately fixed my things and went directly out the room.

 

"Your father needs you home now Ms.Kim"

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the exit. Ugh!  I hate it when he does this. Everybody know im rich af but gosh i dont wanna shove it to their faces 🙄.  Gosh imagine having bodyguard who will follow you everywhere...ugh...good thing this gurl cant relate.

A black E-class Sedan was waiting for me outside with 1 more bodyguard. He opened the door for me and i went inside.

We reached the mansion and I lamely went directly to Dad's Office. He stood up when he saw me and kissed my forehead.

 

"Oh good thing youre safe honey"

I raised my eyebrow at him. 

 

"safe?   from what?"

Im confused.  Is this the reason of sending me home early?

 

"the uhm......the bad guys...I received an anonymous text message earlier and it was a threat. They said they were after you and even sent me a pic of you sitting in your class"

 

My jaw dropped.  I mean I know there are some people trying to kill my father because he's dang rich but..ME!?  Why would you kill me!?  Thats just.......idk...rude.

 

"Oh My God Daddy!   Am I---am I gonna die!?!?"

 

I held my forehead with my other hand on my waist. This is so stressful.  Like how am i suppose to go outside knowing there's these people trying to put me on my grave.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?  IM TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!

 

"No! No! I wont let that happen.....I actually have a plan already.  I mean its not a plan anymore its already done"

 

I walked towards him with my eyes opened big

 

"What?  what is it?  tell me!"

I placed my hands on his desk waiting for his answer.

 

"Bodyguard.   A personal Bodyguard.   for you"

 

I removed my hands on his desk. A-a bodyguard?  Is he serious?

 

"Daddy, are you like serious right now?"

I asked him again hoping he's just joking and he actually have other plan that is not like this.

 

"Yes. A bodyguard who will look after you. He will be with you everywhere.  In that way,  I could be sure of your safety. I already have a guy for this job. He will be here tonight"

It echoed in my ears.  No!No!No!!!! 

 

"Uh..daddy..How can you even sure you can trust this man?  what if...what if he's also one of those bad guys? Huh!?"

 

OMG i cannot have one guy following me everywhere I go!!! Noooooo!!!!!  

I dont even like the bodyguards at home let alone a personal one!?!?  Hello!!Daddy can you hear this!?

 

I mean of course you cant and i also wont even dare to say😶

 

"He's the son of my former bodyguard. I respect his father a lot.  Im sure he's just like him,  ready to serve us loyally"

 

I went back to my room without winning the conversation. Tonight.....I will meet him tonight.  Ugh nooooooo!!!!!😭😭😭

 

I decided to keep myself distracted from the fact that starting from tonight I will be with a stranger. I painted my nails,  played with my makeup,  took selcas,  danced to baby shark and other unecessary activities no sane person would even think.

 

"Ms.Yeri,  Its dinner time. Your father is requiring your presence.             Oh and your visitor is here"

 

Your---what!?  HE IS NOT MY VISITOR.  I dont even want him here -3-

 

I lazily went downstair then straight to the dining hall. I saw a man with his back facing me. Not that tall but taller than me. With his light brown hair, he's wearing a plain white shirt tucked in his black jeans and a sneaker. 

 

"Ah!  There she is!"

My father stood up and points at me.

The guy then faced me....

 

oh....

"This my only daughter Yeri Kim"

 

He just smiled at me.

"Good Evening Ms.Yeri Kim"

He said as he bowed a little. He's standing in a very well posture with both his hands on his back.

 

"Im Lee Chan,  I will be your bodyguard"

 

I just stared on to his face.   I---I did not expect he look this young.  I thought daddy would hire someone who look like my uncle like all the other bodyguards in this house.

 

"Lets eat"

Daddy said so we sat down.  They keep on discussing and talking about some people i do not even know.  I just keep on eating while glancing on him at the same time.

He's just sitting there still with his good posture. He doesnt even look like he can protect me. He look.....soft? idk.

 

"daddy i cant bring him to school.     No offense"

 

I told daddy while I gestured a "no offense"  to Lee Chan. He doesnt seem offended tho.

 

"and why not?   honey remember you are not safe even inside your school"

I rolled my eyes.  Ugh he cant understand

 

"Dad!  I dont want my classmates to see I have a bodyguard with me!  Like what am i? a pre-schooler!?  I will be a laughing stock in the school"

 

So annoying!!  Im pretty sure he wont understand the struggle of teens.  I dont want people gossiping over me. Hey isnt that the girl who have a bodyguard HAHA. 😭😭

 

"Except they wont know he's your bodyguard. "

daddy said.

"Im already enrolled in the university Ms.Kim  .  I will be just like every other student."

i raised my left eyebrow at him

 

"so you're just gonna watch me just like a normal student??????"

I curiously asked while leaning on the table waiting for his answer

 

 

"yes....much..closer tho"

He answered then he smiled at me.  Oh.
