Chapter 4. Movement

~~~
"Tzuyu ah, I wanna tell you something." Little Chun-Ja spoke excitedly while sitting on Tzuyu's lap. The Taiwanese model tilted her face and looked at her.
"Joahaeyo." The little girl whispered into her ear. Tzuyu widened her eyes in surprise and showed her a beautiful smile.
"I like you too." Tzuyu quickly whispered back, causing the baby girl to giggled in amusement.
"Are you two done here?" Sana asked with a frown, accompanied by the impatiently tapping of her high-heels.
Today was the second meeting between designer Minatozaki Sana and supermodel/stylist Chou Tzuyu. The meeting was supposed to start 20 minutes ago, but Chun-Ja had to play with Tzuyu and had to chit chat about silly things like her favorite movies, favorite songs, or how she dislikes broccoli. Tzuyu also seemed to like little Chun-Ja. She immediately asked for Chun-Ja when she first stepped into Sana's office. The supermodel even brought some expensive chocolate to gave her.
"Go away, Sana. I'm playing with Chewy!" Little Chun-Ja scrunched her nose.
Sana rolled her eyes while Tzuyu laughed and lovingly patted the baby girl's head.
Sana has never seen Tzuyu this happy or excited over someone. She found it strange that the supermodel has an interest in her daughter. It seemed that there was a connection between the two and she could not explain why.
"Chun-Ja be good, go out and play. We have to work now. After that, I'll play with you, okay?" Tzuyu said gently to Chun-Ja.
Little Chun brightened her eyes and hugged Tzuyu tightly. Before the baby girl went away, she intentionally left a teasing message to her mom, "Please don't bully miss Tzuyu!"
"Yah, who bullied who ?!" Sana said in annoyance. This little girl is too much. Acting all cute and sweet with Tzuyu while always being a brat when she stays with Sana.
Even little kids like Tzuyu more than Sana?
Life is just unfair.
When Chun-Ja left, Tzuyu immediately returned to her usual cool and emotionless way. She straightened her back and began to open the documents she wanted to share with Sana.
"Okay. Let's get to work. I did some research at home. The origin of Kinetic art comes from Naum Gabo, an artist in the early 20th century. He named his sculptures the Kinetic rhythm. " Tzuyu explained.
She displayed several images and sculptures in the style of Kinetic art. Kinetic-style works contain overtones of culture, art, nature, and science and technology. This style advocates to exploit the artistic and emotional aspects. A typical example is Jean Tinguely, a Swiss sculptor who used the contemporary sculpture field 'Kinetic Art' to liberate the state, find static in the cave, or describing the movement and continuity of life through the mechanical structure of machine tools.
 "In short, this is the art of motion, light, and emotions." Tzuyu continued as she looked at the pile of documents she had gathered.
"Ah, it says in this book, many people think that Duchamp's Bicycle Wheel sculpture is one of the first to use the Kinetic style because of its wheel movement." Sana excitedly said, snatching up a picture of the Unicycle.
"Don't tell me you want to create outfits about bicycles?" Tzuyu frowned.
"No dummy. I already had an idea!" Sana desperately searched for something on her phone. She was in focus mode with not a care for her surroundings. Her delicate eyebrows were furrowed, her eyes set tight to the screen and sometimes she would her lips. For a moment there, Tzuyu was dumbfounded as she was so caught up in her confident demeanor. For a moment there, she thought the woman was incredibly beautiful.
"Ah-ha !!" Sana shouted, startling Tzuyu. She hurriedly shooed away her strange thoughts.
"Look at these magic sculptures created by the American designer Anthony Howe."
Tzuyu approached her and looked at her phone. On the screen was Anthony Howe's magic rotating sculptures as if they were hypnotizing the audience. No need for spells or magic, Anthony's rotating statues still exert a fascinating look and certainly can hypnotize viewers. Each statue is made up of hundreds to even thousands of small pieces. Although the metal was made of stainless steel, the statue was as soft and flexible as peach silk.
"So beautiful," Tzuyu whispered.
It was also Sana's thought when she looked at Tzuyu's goddess-like face. The distance between the two was very close. She could smell the fragrance of Dior J'adore perfume on her. The special scent is made of grass combined with magnolia flower, jasmine and a tinge of pear scent to bring a sweet fresh feeling. It was very pleasant and addictive. She had heard somewhere that a good fragrance is really a powerful cocktail of memories and emotion. Thoughts, moments, feelings, movements, words left unsaid, words barely spoken; they all have a distinct sense, distinct fragrances. Both a smell and a touch. To inhale is to capture and to experience. She blushed involuntarily and immediately dodged away from Tzuyu.
"Umm ... well, that's that. What do you think if we make a collection inspired by Anthony Howe's works?" Sana looked down while letting her hair cover her cheeks.
Tzuyu raised an eyebrow at her strange behavior.
"Okay."
"There is one more problem, ... we need to name the collection."
Tzuyu put a hand on her chin and began to think. This was the same thing she'd wanted to do since they both started.
"A simple name yet can cover the message of the collection. What I'm trying to convey is the meaning of fashion and the movement of light itself."
"Movement." Tzuyu exclaimed.
Sana was frozen on the spot. She stared at Tzuyu without saying anything which confused Tzuyu even more, "umm ... come to think of it, fashion is a reflection of life, and life always moves through times, creating an endless loop. As such, the collection is about the movement of time and life."
Then Sana smiled at Tzuyu. When she smiled, her eyes followed her, she was so beautiful that Tzuyu couldn't look away. T
