Chapter 3: That ending xD
I like how it had a dark comedy vibe to it. It was a shock but I was expecting the zombies because I knew this was a zombie apocalypse before reading it. I have to say it was a bit sad since I was cheering for everyone's freedom. As for the ending, I think that 'I' had turned also succumbed to this deathly, mindless illness as the rest of our characters. It was only a matter of time.
It was sad again since their struggles felt so real, and I also flinched on the part with the creepy crawlies. I also had more respect for 'I' here because he/she really tried to fight for survival.
I like horror stories when they're written like this. :))

Chapter 2: I should have read this chapter at night, after eating and resting because now my stomach roils in disgust xD

I can see why you said 'I' is going to be a bland character. He/She doesn't stand out among the others. Eric has a temper, Suzy is the squad leader, Jennie is a narcissist, Kai is the guardian. Even Jackson is magnificent because of his bladder problem. Our poor narrator started as the healthiest in the squad but he/she quickly got chills within weeks of being experimented on.

I will go on and think that Jennie is saying the truth but her being a journalist is too farfetched for me to believe. The short sentence structure builds to the air of mystery and dread and I like how it implied to given situations -- like using the squat to dig the hole, Kai killing Eric, and of course, that dreadful ending that I dare not mention.

I'm gonna savour up my courage for the last chapter!

Chapter 1: I like how relatable the main character is. He/She is like the reader themselves but in more dystopian future. I wouldn't like to imagine being stuck for another 2 years in the house because of Covid-19. It's an interesting world that you conjured her, and the consequences of what could happen when many people died, food ran out and the implications of hunger.
The ending was daunting and so was the letter. Guess when you're forced into lockdown, there's no place to run :(

I will patiently wait for this story. Plus, I see Suzy in the tag! I can't believe you're going to write about her :O And I'm excited to see the outcome here.
