Do you know me?" she was too mesmerized with that dark cold eyes that she did not realized she asked that question.

He, somehow looked deeper into her eyes, coldly, expresionlessly before letting out a small scoff. "Do I know you?" he asked back, sarcastically.

That respond snapped her out back to the reality. He was right. Why did she ask that question though? She was the one who stopped him and rudely took off his glasses, only.... to ask that... She was rude, yes. She shook his head lightly, realising her lack of manners, especially towards a stranger she just met on this foreign land. She coughed a little to kill the awkward moment. She knew it was rude of her to do that but she needed to be bold. He was her only hope there. "Anyway, you've got to help me."

He took his glasses from her hand and put it back on. Behind those glasses, his eyes were still on her. Behind those glasses, that cold stoic eyes turned soft while looking straight into her eyes. The silent moment lasted for a few minutes. There were no conversations to fill the awkward moment, only him, staring at the poor girl, while thinking on what to respond. He then breathed in, searching for a courage to say "Get lost"

"Wait, wait please! I really need your help. I have no one to turn to." she half begged when she saw the man was trying to leave again. He stopped for awhile and gave her a chance to explain her situation. "Look, I... I lost my money. Maybe on the boat, maybe at the Bourtzi, I don't know. I just don't have any money with me right now." Minjung took a deep breath before she could continue, "I want to go back to the hotel.... but I don't seem to have any money for taxi fare... so I was thinking maybe you could..... lend me some money.....?" she said while nervously looked at the man.

He shrugged a little, still thinking whether to help her or not. "Walk then."

Minjung's eyes widened as she heard the answer. Walk? No! That was a long way to go! "I wouldn't have asked for your help if I could walk..?" she coughed a little to fix her voice. "Just lend me enough money to go back to the hotel. I promise I'll pay you back once I get there."

"Fine. Whatever." without further arguements, he walked to the roadside and stopped a cab for her. She got into the passengers seat after he instructed her with his eyes. The man bent a little to speak to the cab driver after he asked her the hotel's name. He took a few cash from his pocket and gave them to the driver.

"I-I'll pay you back! I promise!" Minjung said after he paid the driver but the response she received was just a 'hmph'. "At least tell me your name!"  she continued. However, the car started to move before he could give her his name.
