Something unusual happened the week before the Yule Ball, no it was not Chanyeol’s dress robes. That was definitely not the issue, as they turned out fine. It was the Gryffindor, Chanyeol tried to be close with for the past weeks. Somehow the Gryffindor was acting a bit distant, which is unusual as it contradicts his usual behaviour. Normally the Gryffindor would be all over him, and It bothered Chanyeol. And so he stood in front of the Fat Lady, waiting for the Gryffindor to come out.

Not a second later, the Gryffindor made eye contact with the Slytherin until he tried to disappear back into the common room, not until Chanyeol caught him.
