Her thoughts started rumbling in her mind like a tornado; lots of questions and doubts were there but only one was stuck up there, in the front, that dominated over everything else. The mug of tea, now empty, was resting in her hands almost as a protection of what could happen after that conversation.
Jungeun wanted to know Jinsoul.
The reason? She couldn't explain it: maybe it was due to the tiny admiration she had that wasn't so tiny after all or maybe she was genuinely curious and wanted to hear her, but for whatever reason it was, for Jungeun that felt nearly like an instinct. A necessity.
Her heart and mind were asking -begging her to know those old experiences, the previous life Jinsoul had before coming here. Jungeun just started asking out of curiosity but ended up wanting even more like she was somehow hooked however for now old stories were not shared and explanations were left unsaid.

The two girl, after the confession on the old photo and Jinsoul's ex-occupation, were resting on the sofa. Jinsoul was sipping on her mug while Jungeun was sitting cross-legged lost in her own world both surrounded by the silence of the room until as if in reaction, they looked at each other almost as if they never witness a person before, the reasons however were different: Jungeun was trying her best to tone down the chaos of the thousands thoughts running in her mind -and most importantly to shut down her desire to discover more about her newest friend meanwhile Jinsoul... was at loss of words due to the statement come out from Jungeun's mouth and that was lingering in the air, so Jinsoul tried to be sure of what the shorter girl said

' I'm not that good but..'

started Jinsoul searching once again her guest's eyes that were kind of absent even though they looked at her

'Do you really want to hear me sing, Jungeun?'

Jungeun had a block: a suggestion from her system and on how unmoving was the best idea in that moment. She never expected her words would sneak out without her notice and on top of that to be loud enough to be heard by the person in front of her; what Jungeun was feeling in that moment right there was a mix of every emotions possible from happiness to anxiety, she even felt guilty but none of those were portraying on her frozen body - at the realization of asking Jinsoul to sing for her, Jungeun was stuck in her place and the only thing she could do was to watch the black haired girl with panic filled eyes, thinking that maybe the girl could easily decipher all the mess that was Jungeun's head in that moment.
Jinsoul slided near the shorter girl, just an inch before the feet that were glued on the sofa, but as a defensive mechanism Jungeun withdraw her knees up to her chest even further and her eyes looked at everything but Jinsoul: what she was doing? Jungeun didn't know how to act anymore but surely Jinsoul wasn't going to hurt her, neither was her voice, nonetheless she felt exposed of her feelings and the inner turmoil she was currently drowning in took the best of her; it was really hard to explain but she literally hoped to be saved from herself

   'Jungeun...?'

She didn't know why Jinsoul was whispering but Jungeun felt even more attentive of where she was and especially of the voice that was in front of her and just like how a siren calls she gazed back at Jinsoul and they were now looking each others right in the eyes, the only sounds surrounding them were the long time forgotten TV and their slow breaths that were both hidden by the unceasing sound of rain.

Wow... you are just so beautiful...

'Jungeun? You're always else where with your mind but I heard you so, why not? Come'

Jinsoul giggled and with her goofy smile she caressed one of Jungeun's knee and stood up taking both their mugs leaving her guest in outer shock.

She walked her way to the kitchen to put them both in the sink then came back to the living room and to a Jungeun back on her feet looking like a lost puppy -a sight way too cute for Jinsoul to hide the smile that her face was forming so she moved towards her and looked at Jungeun standing in front of her in all her appearance: she knew that the shorter girl was looking after any of her  movements since she stood up of the couch so Jinsoul tried not to startle the girl and carefully took one of her hands and tugged a little then looked up into Jungeun's eyes again searching for permission.
Jungeun started moving when Jinsoul started tugging again and basically got dragged to another part of the house obviously unknown to her. Not only her body moved but also her heart started beating faster. It was out of control since their hands made contact with each other: Jinsoul whispering her name, lightly touching her knee and softly laughing at her... all of those things were more dangerous than her mind itself because she felt safe but at the same time she felt things starting to move in her heart and immediately after the black haired girl does anything, her heart start skipping beats even though she didn't want or need any of those.

For the second time that night she asked herself what were those feelings and why she was even feeling them? She find them irrational and stupid but as soon as she sensed the warmth coming from Jinsoul's hand she stopped functioning and for the first time her mind went blank.

At that point the taller girl was basically controlling her so she stopped talking or do any action in general and just followed Jinsoul and the grip on her hand all the way into what seemed her bedroom, she was in some kind of trance in which she woke up when the grip loosened and the warmth slowly faded away hence Jungeun started looking at her surroundings: she was standing in the middle of the room, half of it lighted up by a small light in the corner, the glass door that leads to the balcony was slightly open but was covered by the curtains -the small and chilly air coming from outside moving them gently, the sound of the rain still unmissable

Seems like this rain doesn't want to stop

Jungeun thought

Behind her shoulders was Jinsoul's bed: sheets strangely the only thing not blue in the whole room, perhaps house but they still fitted perfectly and the bed also looked extra comfy; lastly her eyes ended on Jinsoul herself that was ready on the keyboard just in front of her. They were looking at each other once again, no words needed and Jungeun swears she couldn't handle how she felt everytime they made eye contact

As if I ever going to understand anything that happened until now. Why am I like this?! Ugh!!

Jinsoul continued to have her eyes on Jungeun and signaled her with an arm towards the bed as to say that she was fine for Jungeun to sit on it so when she accomplished, the taller girl sent her a smile and softly spoke to her worried somehow that talking any louder could break something

'Suit yourself, you can even lay down if you want. You only have to wait for a bit because I didn't play in a long time so I need warm ups and it's going to be a little bit long'

'I'm fine, Jinsoul... really. I-I'll... umh... just stay here'

Jungeun said while patting the place she was sitting on. At that Jinsoul
