“Ye Jin-ah, It’s indeed a busy start of 2011 for you.” Kim Min Sook told her friend, and one of her most valuable talent.

“I have recharged myself already, I am ready for every work we have ahead!” Ye Jin replied positively as she smiled at her manager while she sipped coffee during their meeting.

“Travelling indeed helps you get back on your old working self, but don.t get yourself too tired and stay healthy, arraso?” Manager Kim reminded

“Ofcourse, I am starting yoga and trying out pilates lately, honestly, I liked it a lot.” Ye Jin added

“Aigoo, our Ye Jin’s keeping herself busy, tell me how was that chaebol namja you dated? I haven’t heard anything about it after you asked a week vacation” Manager Kim further teased

Ye Jin was startled but managed to smile, a wide eye smile, her trademark smile, “It went well, but I don’t think we clicked, hahaha” She laughed out loud

“Tell me more!” Manager Kim sat beside Ye Jin and asked

“He’s okay, but I didn’t felt anything. We went out twice…”

“Twice already?” Manager Kim interrupted

“Yah, we just had dinner and went hiking, that’s all, your mischievous smile says all your thoughts” Ye Jin explained

“I was just curious, of course as your friend and your manager, I should know the namja’s you date, not that I interfere, but for your protection too, right?”

“You’re afraid to lose a beautiful talented artist like me. Admit it!” Ye Jin gestured her hand below her face and manager

“Ani, more than being your manager, I am your friend, so spill it, don’t make cute expressions like that, it bothers me more”

They both laughed.

“We just didn’t click, we’re not matched. I am really bad at this dating thing, you know that.” She smiled and let out a deep sigh, “I am turning 30 soon, but I am in no rush” Ye Jin took a sip of the coffee

“30 is the new 18” Manager Kim added

“Where did that come from?” Ye Jin asked

“Nowhere, I invented it. You are still young. As if you don’t have other namja’s in line waiting for your time to date them” She teased, “That’s what I meant by 18, the right guy will come, just enjoy your life my friend” She added

Ye Jin noticed a script on the coffee table, “What’s this?” She opened the enveloped and flipped through the pages

“The producers of Secret Garden sent that this morning, asking if you are free to have a cameo role, as yourself on the series” Manager Kim explained

Ye Jin reads through the script as she listens to her manager. She smiled.

“I’m okay doing this, acting as myself is not hard,” she turned to her manager, “Or is it the most challenging role ever?” She joked

“Son Ye Jin!” She exclaimed over her talent’s answer

“Kidding, but sure, I can do this. I actually watch few episodes of this drama, I’ll be happy doing it”

“Great, I’ll let them know your available shooting date, anyhow it’s just a day of shoot so its not tiring at all, knowing you? You’ll ace it!” Manager Kim assured.

Ye Jin smiled and put down the script she was reading. She got her bag and sipped last coffe before she bowed and gestured to leave.

“We settled that, how about birthday plans?” Manager Kim asked

“Going back to Daegu and celebrate with my family, as you said, 30 is the new 18! So family time it is” Ye Jin teased, as she bowed goodbye and left the office

“Aish, Son Ye Jin” Manager Kim smiled and picked up the script

“And cut! That was a very good take!” Director Kwon Hyuk-chan concluded the shooting day.

“Thank you so much Son Ye Jin-ssi for doing this, we are grateful for your time and participation to the drama” Director Kwon added

Ye Jin bowed at everyone, “Director-nim, the honor was all mine, I am happy to do act as myself in this drama” She politely replied

“If it is not much to ask, will you be free after this, Director Shin Woo Chul would like to meet you too” Director Kwon asked, “Actually they just finished at the filming site just now,  he asked if maybe we can meet somewhere to eat, before we go to out next location” Director Kwon asked

“My schedule is free today, since we finished earlier than expected, I still have free time, we can have dinner nearby their location Director-nim, or let’s all meet halfway?” Ye Jin suggested

“We can go to a restaurant nearby, since their next location is on the way to where we are now.”

“Sound good, please text me or my road manager the address, so that we can go there. I’ll just go change and lessen the make up on my face” Ye Jin bowed

“Thanks again Ye Jin-ssi. See you at the restaurant” Director Kwon added

“The food here is good, order anything Ye Jin-ssi, it’s on us.” Director Kwon Hyuk Chan offered.

“Thank you director-nim” Ye Jin politely replied as she take a look at the menu list.

“Same goes to your staff, they can have anything they want” He added, “Shin Woo Chil-nim will be here in a few minutes, and other actors as well”

Ye Jin smiled at him, and handed over the menu to her executive assistant and glam team which were seating right next to her.

“Philip-ssi, who else replied in the group chat? “ Director Kwon asked

“Hyun Bin is on his way here, with Ji-won. I think he rode Ji-won’s car or the other way around” Phillip read the message, “We’re on our way, Ji Won’s a slow driver”

“Yah, I think that’s Hyun Bin’s new car, he showed off that car last shooting”

Ye Jin’s phone rang while hearing the namja’s conversation, “I’m sorry I just need to take this call, it’s my father” she bowed and excused herself and went to the washroom.

“DIretor Shin Woo CHul is at the parking area already” Director Kwon told Philip. “How about Hyun Bin-ssi and Ha Ji Won-ssi? And the other?”

“The others opt to take a break and nap in the holding area, it’s just Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won coming over.” Philip reiterated

Director Shin waved at the Director Kwon, and seated beside him. Ye jin’s team bowed to him as soon as he approached their table.

“Ye Jin-ssi is in the washroom” one of her staff said

“No worries, Kwon PD-nim, you ended early than expected” Diretor Shin said

‘Philip and Ye Jin-ssi’s scenes are easy to shoot, we just had fun, casually dining and exchanging lines, right Philip?” Director Kwon replied

“Oh here they are” Philip pointed out Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won entering the restaurant

They seated beside Director Shin, infront of Ye Jin’s staff

“Sorry, it took a while” Ye Jin bowed as she notice additional companion at their table.

“ANneyeonghaseyo Son Ye Jin-ssi, it was nice meeting you personally, thanks for accepting the cameo role in our drama” Shin PD-nim told Ye jin, as he approached Ye jin and shook her hand

“Ani, Shin PD-nim, the pleasure was all min, I am really happy to be part of the drama, even just a cameo role. Would you believe I get to watch the drama from time to time” Ye Jin replied

“Anneyeonghaseyo, Ha Ji Won inmida”

“Son Ye Jin, inmida, nice meeting you Ha Ji Won –ssi, your role as Ra Im is remarkable. “ Ye Jin bowed at Ha Ji Won, “A Anneyeonghaseyo Hyun Bin-ssi, it was nice seeing you again,

“Anneyeonghaseyo Son Ye Jin-ssi, I am happy to have met you again,”

“Food is here! Cold weather makes me want to eat more” Kwon PD-nim interrupted.

“Yah, Ji Won-ssi, don’t be deceived by this namja by his handsomeness, he just had a broken heart lately, hence the new car!” Shin PD-nim blurted out

“Hyun Bin choked upon hearing it, he looked at Ye Jin, who is smiling infront of him

“Ya, Shin PD-nim, no one know about it yet, we have a pretty guest here, she might misinterpret what you said” Hyun Bin defended himself

“Deh, Shin PD-nim, this namja who is mending a broken heart is just a friend, so don’t worry”

The teasing continues while they eat, Ye Jin from time to time, reacts.

“Aish, Hyun Bin-ssi, you’re a heart breaker?” Ye Jin added and teased Hyun Bin furthermore. Made everyone laughed hard. Ye Jin’s infamous eye smile captured everyone’s attention.

“What face can I show off to the beautiful ladies here at our table if for them, I am a heartbreaker already” Hyun Bin said that made everyone, including him, laughed so hard, and staring at the lady in front of him.
