“Alright, I think I’m at the right place.”

A certain girl is hauling an enormous suitcase using her left hand while her other hand is holding on a piece of paper with messy handwriting. She gulped hard upon finding herself drowned in the middle of high class looking people as she navigates her way throughout the campus. With bated breath, she approached a girl who was sitting at the counter which looks like a registration table.

“Hi, congratulations for your admission to the finest academy within Wiz Empire, Wiz Academy. How can I help you?”

Her breath is taken away by this mesmerizing girl donning a ponytail while wearing a round glass. She finds herself stuttering before clearing and digging through those big, red bags hanging on her shoulders.

“Here, I would like to find my room and I kinda lost my way around here.”

The girl sheepishly said while scratching her cheeks. She feels enormously pressured as she can tell a lot of eyes are staring at her unusual behavior. Of course, she tried her best ignoring them but it’s getting hard to do so when she is already spinning around the same area for a few hours before seeking help.

“Oh, so you’re THE Jo Yuri! Best student this academy ever had!”

Blushes become visible on her face when the pretty, charismatic girl in front of her exclaims while clapping those small hands with joy. Yuri shakes her head as she waves fervently, denying the girl’s claim of her admission result.

“No, don’t say that. I’m just average.”

“Well, you're an extraordinary case for an average person for sure, Jo Yuri.”

She startled upon hearing a deep voice suddenly draw near her and the overjoyed girl. Yuri turns her head and finds a tall, pretty-looking male student with short, brown hair walking towards them with a thick book in his hand. She felt overwhelmed upon seeing this certain guy which makes all attention on her from earlier just intensifies. The timid girl tried her best to be as invisible as possible, avoiding any unnecessary confrontation on her first day in this prestigious school.

“Not much of a talker, huh? Fair enough.”

The guy shrugged as he extended his long, delicate fingers towards Yuri who is too startled to even react properly. She stares at those sturdy hands for a good thirty seconds before carefully shakes it in a flash. She can hear a lot of groan and jealous stares directed at her which makes Yuri wish that she can just bury herself in the ground.

He humbly introduces himself when a loud shriek can be heard from people around which overwhelmed Yuri. She isn’t used to this kind of attention and didn’t even dream of having many eyes on her. She hates her own train of thoughts which whisper nothing but degrading words, reminding her own place in this prestigious ground.

“I-I’m Jo Yuri. Freshman.”

“Don’t mind him too much, Yuri-ya! Oops, is it too much if I call you that? I’m Kwon Eunbi, a member of the Student Council.”

Pretty unnie with wavy, ponytail hair introducing herself while nudging Sakura away, earning a grunt from the guy who is stepping aside while sighing deeply, a hand on his nape which makes a lot of girls squeal at his action. Eunbi pointed at Yuri’s baggage and offered a smile to the younger girl.

“You want to head to the dorm, right? Let me show you the way. This academy can be a little bit confusing for sure, I even lost my way a few times in my freshman year.”

Relieves spread all over Yuri’s body as she heard the kind offer from Eunbi. She never thought to stumble upon such a kind soul in this place filled with nobility kids. Of all people. Yuri knows the best to not associate herself with this nobles brats as it might trouble her if she ever accidentally crosses their line.

However, Yuri couldn’t shake away her uneasiness for being the lone commoner here as everyone seems to know each other already, perks of being born with blue blood.

“Sakura, can you watch the place for a bit? I want to show Yuri around.”

Complaints and groans coming from the attractive boy with big ears but still comply to Eunbi’s request. Yuri couldn’t help but notice a visible flushing red on Sakura’s big ear as he slumped on the chair and buried his face in that thick book again, ignoring a group of girls swarming over him.

“That’s an ordinary sight, you see. Sakura is quite popular among the girls.”
