X.A. and I look around us as we try to find a perfect place to rest and talk to each other. No matter where we look, it’s just the same—a space that extends to an even larger space as we move forward. This city is limitless. It’s never-ending. Souls just come and go. If you opt to stop, you just stop and look for a soul to talk to.

“No one will bother. Let’s just stay here.” X.A. says as he lies down amid the sea of souls moving about.

I follow its lead. I lie beside it and watch as the sky above us moves in its own space, way above us. I gaze at the stars that I’m sure Vega, Rigel and all the others sit still as they watch us move in our paces.

"How long have you been here?" I ask. His flame still sits low on his chest. His arms are thrown over his head as he gazes at the sky above our heads.

"Uhm, quite awhile already? I've seen those three stars move and switch places for about... Three times?"

I look at where its fingers were pointing. The three stars it's talking about are Vega, Rigel, and Pleiades. Those three are from different constellations and should be located far from each other but for some inexplicable reasons, they are always together.

"How often to they revolve?"

The flame on its chest starts burning rapidly. It slowly flashes a mixture of magenta and sky blue color. It's fairly noticeable now. I see how the flames work when souls talk about what we are passionate about.

"I'm not sure here. But if I'm going to base it with the world's time... about a hundred years? That's too short here. We don't have the concept of time." 

His flame starts to burn even more rapidly now. It's as if gas was thrown into it for the flame to glow and emit a color strange to my eyes.

"Except when you finally find your soulmate... what's your code again?"

I think hard about his flame. Does talking about stars feed this soul? Or is there something or someone up there that has the same flame he has?
