Everyone get ready to depart to Daegu. Since they are not really busy, they plan to stay there for few days so that Irene can spend more time with her relatives

“Is everyone ready?” Taeyeon locked the front door since Mrs. Choi and her husband will back to their own house after they leave

“Yes daddy”

“Alright, we should go now”

Yeri noticed that Irene walk pass by their car “Unnie, you not ride with us?”

Irene grin “No, unnie will ride with Seohyun unnie and Yoona unnie”

“Okay” Yeri pout and go inside the car

“Aigooo Yerimie, don’t make that face” Seulgi poking Yeri cheek

“I’m sad because unnie don’t want to ride with us”

“Let her bonding with her cousin. You can always play with her but they have little time to spend with each other” Jessica said

“Okay mommy”

“Now everyone please shut up, mommy wants to sleep. You all only allow speaking if there is a really important thing”

“Alright” they rolled their eyes

After driving for few hours, they arrive at Irene family house. It is wooden house with modern design that looked simple

“Is this their house?” Seulgi asking

“Yes, according to Yoona this house is build by their grandparent from their mom side. It was renovated few years ago and whenever they come back to Daegu, they will gather here. They will come here at least once a year for family gathering. They named this house as Choi Resident”

“No wonder the design looked modern” said Taeyeon

“You’re right” Jessica unbuckled her seatbelt “Let’s go out. Irene waiting for us already”

“Welcome to Choi Resident” Irene said to her family

“Your house looked beautiful” Seulgi compliments as he stands beside Irene

“Thank you and this is my big family house. I stayed here before I live at orphanage” Irene stated

“Hello everyone!” a tanned man around Taeyeon age come out of the house cheerfully

“Appa Yul!” Irene runs to hug her uncle

“That man is my father, Kwon Yul” said Yoona

“Okay” Kim family watching Irene greet her uncle with wide smile

“He looked funny” said Taeyeon

“Funny and childish is his attitude” Yoona and Seohyun laughed

“Aigoo my baby girl, I miss you. How are you these days?” Yul ruffled Irene hair

“I’m good and I miss you too”

“You gain weight unlike the last time I saw you”

“Yah!” Irene whine

Yul noticed that there are few people with them and he assumed that they are Irene family “Are they your family?”

Irene startled as she almost forgot about her new family “Yes appa, let me introduce you to them” she dragged Yul to meet her family

“Mommy daddy, this is my uncle Kwon Yul. He is Yoona father and his wife is my mom older sister” Irene said

“Nice to meet you” Yul and Kim family bow to each other

“Appa, where are the others?” Yoona confuse when only her father come to greet them

“Your umma and Seohyun parent go out to buy groceries. They leave me here in case you all arrive early”

“Okay then”

“Let’s go inside. It’s hot here. We prepare room for all of you already” said Yul

They bring their luggage and bags into the house. The furniture are all modern and arrange well on it place. Yul walk them to guest room

“Here is your room” Yul said as he opened the door

“Wow, the room is so big” Seulgi said

“This is reserve as guest room so we make it big so that it can fit lot of people”

“Appa Yul, did you clean my room too?” Irene asked

“No, you clean for yourself” Yul joking around

“Appa Yul, you really don’t love me anymore” Irene puffed her cheek

Yul laughed at the girl antic “Appa just joking. Of course we prepare your room already. Your umma and mama cleaned it yesterday”

“Okay appa” Irene grin

“Mr. Kwon, thanks for prepare a lot for us” said Taeyeon

“It’s doesn’t matter. It nothing compares to your care about our baby girl all this while” said Yul

“Our pleasure”

“By the way, just call me Yul or Uncle Yul. No need to be formal”

“Alright”

“So put your stuff here then we sit at living room. Yoona and Seohyun prepare drinks and snacks for us” said Yul

“Sure, we will go out later” Jessica said

“Okay” Yul turn to Irene “Let’s go to your room. Maybe you forgot the direction already”

“Yeah, I really forgot” Irene play along with her uncle then they leave

“He really playful and teasing unnie a lot” Yeri commented after the two leaving

“As Yoona said, he’s funny” Taeyeon said

“Noona also laughed a lot since she met her cousins yesterday” said Seulgi

“I noticed that too” Yeri said

“We’re happy if she’s happy. She goes through a lot before so now we make her happy with us” said Jessica

“Okay mommy” the sibling said

“Let’s go out to living room” Taeyeon said then they go to living room

“Hey everyone, have a sit” Yul invite the guest to sit on the couch then he pour the juice to the glass and give to the Kims

“Where are Yoona and Seohyun?” Jessica asked

“They go upstairs to change their clothes. Have you guys eaten lunch?”

“Yes, we stop somewhere before” Taeyeon answered

“I worry if you guys not eating yet because the fridge run out of stock that’s why the mothers not cooking yet”

Later Seohyun, Yoona and Irene also join them at living room. Being the talkative one, Yul told them lot of things about Irene since her childhood but he still make sure that he not say anything about her painful moments. Seulgi and Yeri also grow fond to Yul due to his playfulness

“Appa, they arrive already” Yoona say soon as she heard the car stop

Few minutes later, Yoona mother come with plastic bag full of groceries

“Yul, help me!”

“Okay” Yul run to the hallway in no time

Yul lead his wife and Seohyun mother to living room to meet their guest “Look who we have here” he chirped

“Juhyun” the mothers eyes teary soon as they saw Irene and Irene quickly hugging her aunties

“How are you, baby? We miss you so much” Seohyun mother asking under her sobs, she is taller than Yoona mother

Irene also sobbing in their embrace “I’m fine mama”

“We’re happy that you’re in a good hand now” Yoona mother said

“My new family treat me well and I’m very happy with them” Irene wipe her tears after broke the hug “They are my new family” said Irene

“Nice to meet you all” they bow to each other

“Thanks for taking care of our daughter. We hope she not troubling your family” Seohyun mom said

Jessica smile “Don’t worry, she is good girl and never give us hard times”

“That’s good then”

Yul speak again “I forgot to introduce them. This is my wife, Choi Soonkyu or Sunny. She is the oldest daughter of Choi. This is my sister-in-law, Choi Sooyoung and she is the second daughter of their family. She is Seohyun mother. Seohyun father is still outside and he is Stephan Hwang”

Then Jessica replies “I am Jessica Jung. This is my husband, Kim Taeyeon. That is my son, Kim Seulgi and my younger daughter, Kim Yerim”

“By any chance Jessica-ssi, do you ever stay at America or perhaps study there?” Sooyoung asking

“I stayed at America since born then return here in my 20’s after graduate from my university”

“Which part?”

“San Francisco” Jessica answer

Sooyoung grin after got the info “I guess you’re someone that my husband always mentioned. He said he has best friend from Korea and her name is Jung Jessica and she used to show me the picture of both of you when you still young”

“What is his name again?” Jessica also excited

“Stephan Hwang” said Sooyoung

Taeyeon and Jessica look at each other “Hwang Miyoung?” Taeyeon guessing

“Yes, that’s him. You also know him, Taeyeon-ssi?”

“More than know him. He is my best buddy when we still at university. I met with Jessica through him since they are best friend before”

“What a small world” Sunny said happily

“By the way, where is him now?” Taeyeon asked

“Yah Seohyun, where is papa? Why he still not appear?” Sooyoung looking for her husband

“Maybe play his game down there” said Seohyun

“Go call him now. Tell him that his old friend come to visit him”

“Okay mama” Seohyun quickly go out to call her dad

Seohyun come back with her father “Yes honey”

“Yah, what are you doing outside?” Sooyoung glare at her husband

“I shower my car first” Stephan grin

“Your friend is here”

Stephan quickly looking at the guest then he laugh when he saw Taeyeon and Jessica “Hey buddies, how are you guys?” they hug each other happily

“We’re good. How are you?” Taeyeon said

“I also good as usual”

“Long times no see but you not change too much. Still ugly like before” said Jessica

“Yahh, you still with that attitude even you have kids now” Stephan glare at Jessica

“I can’t help it” Jessica shrugged her shoulder then they laugh again
