“Mr. Kim, there are 2 people outside. They said they want to meet with you and Mrs. Kim” Mrs. Choi said

“Oh, are they telling you who they are?” Taeyeon wondering because usually someone who related to his business never comes to their house

“One of them introduce herself as Ms. Kwon”

Taeyeon and Jessica looking at each other while frowning. Seulgi who also just come from the kitchen also looking at his parent confusingly “Invite them to come” said Jessica

“Okay ma’am” Mrs. Choi go to the door again to get the visitor

“Ma’am, sir here they are” Mrs. Choi said then she leave to the kitchen

Both of them stand up to greet the visitor

“Good day Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim, I am Hwang Seohyun and this is my cousin, Kwon Yoona” the girl introduce themselves politely

“Hi, I am Jessica and this is my husband, Kim Taeyeon” Jessica invite the guest to sit “May I know why both of you come here?”

“Actually we come here for Bae Juhyun”

The Kim family puzzled “Are you guys know her?” Taeyeon asking

“Yes Mr. Kim, we’re her relative. Her late mother is our mom’s younger sister” Yoona answer

“But last time, the orphanage staff said she don’t have any relative live in Daegu”

“It’s true Mr. Kim. All this while my family and I were stay at Barcelona while Seohyun and her family at America”

“So you guys are close with her?” Jessica asked

“Yes Mrs. Kim”

“But why let her stay at orphanage?”

“Actually after Juhyun losing her family, we asked her which family that she wanted to follow but she said she insists to stay at Daegu. Our parents try convincing her to go with any of us to overseas because no one will take care of her here but she is stubborn and she stick with her decision. After so many days having talk with her, she said she want to stay with one of our close friend who is the head of orphanage that she lived. She want to finish her study at local school then she promised to our parents, soon as she graduate, she will join any of us. That is why our parent agree to left her here”

The Kim nod their head as sign they understand what happen “Did you all know that she live with us since few months ago?” Taeyeon asked

“Yes, the orphanage informed us few days after she depart with all of you. At first our parents quite upset because she immediately agreed when stranger invite her to stay while she resisted us. However we take it positively maybe she have her own reason why she agree to follow both of you” said Seohyun

“I used to ask her why she choose both of you over us and her answer really heartwarming and make me tear up” Yoona say and everyone waiting for her to continue her words “She said being around both of you make her feel safe like how she feel when her late parents still around. Both of you remind her of them every time you all visit her that why she not thinking twice when she accept your offer. From what I see after she stay with your family, Juhyun change a lot. When we face-time, she talk a lot and really cheerful like the old days. We can see the happiness beam from her face. We’re really thankful that you all can change her to her old self”

“Emm, is she not that lively before this?” Seulgi curiously asking

Seohyun and Yoona smile sadly “No, she changed a lot after the day she lost everything. She lost herself. She’s become quite and cold. It’s really hard to approach her. She’s distance herself from everyone for so many weeks with no talking, no proper meal, losing sleep and live with tears. Juhyun is not herself anymore and she often hospitalized due to her health not taken well. She becomes skinny so quickly. It’s hard for us to see her in that state and we try hard to motivate her to continue her life again. Whenever we ask her to eat her meal or meds, she said she give up on her life because there are no reasons for her to stay in this world anymore. Luckily Yoona mother know someone who can give counseling and she help Juhyun to get over her past. She getting better after few rounds of counseling and she slightly change even not overall but we still happy for it. At least she not trying to end her life” Seohyun end her talk with teary eyes

After hear the story about Irene, Jessica crying hard while Taeyeon and Seulgi look so sad and full of sympathy

“Why is my baby had to go through this? Why she deserve this sad life?” Jessica said under her sob while Taeyeon rubbed her back

“We’re really thankful that your family treated her well like she’s your own daughter. We owe you all so much” said Yoona

“Juhyun is a good girl and really respectful towards everyone. She treats my kids like her own sibling and spoiling them. She good at study and recently she graduate with impressive grades” Taeyeon says

“She told us that she graduate and we proud of her achievement”

“By the way, where is Juhyun?” Seohyun asked when she noticed that Juhyun is not around

“She goes out with my younger daughter. I guess they are on their way back by now” Jessica said

“Mommy, daddy!” Yeri yell while running to living room but she stopped when she saw unfamiliar figure gather with her family “Oopss, sorry” she bow immediately

“Where is your unnie?” Jessica asked

“Unnie still outside”

“She have guest”

“Oh” Yeri saw Irene come “Unnie, you have guest”

“I have guest?” Irene frowned and walk quickly to living room. She gasped when she saw her cousin

“Hi” Seohyun waving her hands

“Yah, are you that shocked seeing us?” Yoona smirk

“Oh my God unnie, why you not inform me early that you will come here?” Irene proceed to hug her cousins before they sit back on the couch

“We plan to give you a surprise so here we are” said Seohyun and shower Irene face with kisses

“Stop kissing me like a baby. I’m big girl now”

“You still the youngest cousin in our family” Yoona pats Irene head

“Since both of you are here, I guess the others also in country” Irene sit between her cousins

“Yes, we come together since it’s for annual vacation for the family” said Seohyun

“And we also come to talk about the promise that you made years ago” Yoona stated

Irene eyes turn wide and she gulped “Unnie, please…can we just drop it…I mean…my new family…” she stutter like hell

“We can’t do anything with that baby girl.
