“One in a million! Hello, we are TWICE!” the girls introduce themselves to the camera. “What are we doing here?” Jihyo questions. “Are we going to have a boyfriend in this show?” Chaeyong randomly guess. “Yes, you are right!” the girls were beyond shock to hear that. “So are they here!” “Please bring in the boyfriends,” the main PD orders and they turn to the door. 9 male idols step into the room and they got up to greet them. The boys begin to introduce themselves. “We have used all the available information we have on setting a match for you guys. Please take the hands of your girlfriend and take them to your first date location, boys!” they nodded. One by one of them took the hand of their given partner with a smile, leaving the two youngest member, Chaeyong and Tzuyu. Only Bambam and Wooseok is left in the room. “Bambam-shi?” the foreigner grin and approach the two. “Would you come with me, Chaeyong-shi?” he offer his hand to the girl who blush. The girl took his hand and is lead out of the room to their first date location. Tzuyu and Wooseok stare at each other with a slight blush as the elder come near him. “Hi,” he started awkwardly, not knowing how to speak in front of such beautiful girl. “Would you be my girlfriend, Chou Tzu Yu?” he speak in fluent mandarin and that made her blush even more. The elder offer up his hand with a smile and honestly, Tzuyu felt like her knee would buckle if he did as much as step a little closer. “Shall we go?” she place her own hand ontop of his with a nod. Both of them walk out of the room. Outside, they met with one of the writers. “Your first mission,” she gave them an envelope. “Get to know each other mission. Sit down at your favourite café and order something,” Wooseok read it for the two of them. “Where is your favourite café?” he look down at her. “In Taiwan,” she jokes and the two burst out laughing. “Let’s go to that famous Neko café! You like animals, right?” Tzuyu nodded and follow him into his van. It is a 20 minutes ride so the two ended up talking about themselves to get to know each other even more. When they arrive, they manage to get a table and order something from the menu. The café is filled with young parents and couples. “Meow…” Tzuyu felt something rubbing on her legs so he look down to find a kitten. “Oh, it’s so cute!” she lift the chubby animal up. “Orange!” she read out the name on the collar. “Wow, look at all those cats,” it didn’t take long before as many as four cats started to flock around Wooseok. “They loves you!” she giggles. “It’s always like this when I come here with my friends. They always flock around me,” he their fur gently with a kind smile. “Well, my Ma always said that cats always flock around loving people,” Tzuyu utter. Their food arrive and they talk even more while playing with the cats. This force between them is something they can’t deny. This is the first time they met but it felt like they have known each other for years. It’s like their souls were undeniably attracted to one another. They have never crossed path before their comeback never clash but it seems like fate have a funny way to play with them. Even the cameraman doesn’t have the heart to disturb them. “Look at the time! We got too engrossed with talking that we lost track of time,” Tzuyu look at the clock and is surprised to see that they have been there for almost 6 hours and the sun have already set. The two goes to pay for their meal and left the café. They end up talking even more on the way back to TWICE’s dorm. “We’re here…” Wooseok announce as the van stop in front of her building. She open the door and sigh. “I’m here,” she find it so hard to leave. “I’ll text you when I get home,” the two finally parts. The elder even waited until she is inside the building before leaving.

The next week, the girls are getting ready for their next date. “So where are you guys going?” Jihyo asked. “Jinyoung Oppa is taking me to a dog café,” “Mark-shi said he want to take me to Korean’s village,” Momo replied. “Jaebum sunbae wants to go on a double date with Jinyoung sunbae,” Sana utter. “Wonwoo said he’ll take me to Namsan tower,” Mina grin and do a high five with the leader since both of them are going to the same place. “Eunwoo Oppa is taking me to the aquarium,” Dahyun cheer silently. “Bambam Oppa said the zoo is a good place to visit,” Chaeyong is excited. “Tzuyu?” “I don’t know…Wooseok Oppa said he wants to make a surprise,” her unnies began teasing her for it. The cameraman have all ready to record their dates. Tzuyu patiently wait for her date to arrive. “Are you nervous?” her cameraman asked. “Yes but I’m more excited to meet him again. Both of us live so far apart so we only talk on SNS,” several minutes later, a van arrive carrying Wooseok. Unlike her unnies’ boyfriend, Wooseok still haven’t got his license yet so he cannot drive. “Did you wait long?” the boy open the van door for her. “No,” she took her seat inside. There are already several camera install inside the van. “Where are we going?” “Just wait and see,” the elder grin. “So how is your day?” he continue. “The unnies was mean this morning. They keep teasing me when I told them you will be giving me a surprise,” “That’s what they do. Even my hyung did the same,” the girl then proceed to rant in full mandarin since Wooseok is actually fluent in Mandarin. He just sat there, listening to her with a smile and reacting just like he is supposed to be. The surprised location ended up to be the Lotte world. “A theme park?” “Yes, you said you haven’t been to one since you were a child so I thought why not go to a theme park this time,” he smile, taking her hand into his own. The two get into the park and got an all access bracelets. “Which ride do you want to try?” he asked and she looks around. “Can we try all of them?” “Just like I predicted. Come on, let’s get the Viking first,” the two walk over to the short line for the Viking ride. “Are you ready?” the two sit down and fully secure to the seats. Wooseok hold up the camera and use his other hand to hold his girlfriend’s hands as the ride start moving. Tzuyu excitedly scream as the ride move even faster. Usually she would be so scared but with Woseok holding her hand, nothing seems to scare her more than to let it go. They went to several other rides before grabbing for something to eat. “How was the rides?” the cameraman asked. “It is so exciting and fun!” the boy replied. “It was so much fun. I like it,” the girl grin. The two shares a drink and food, talking about the next ride. Many of the other visitors can’t help but to take several glances at them on the bench because they look so lovely together. “I nearly forgot,” Tzuyu rummage through her purse and pull out a couple ring that they won earlier at one of the game stalls. “Do you want to put it on?” she asked, pulling out the larger of the two ring from it’s place. “Sure,” she proudly slide the ring onto his finger and the ring fit snugly on his ring finger. “I like it,” he smiles and did the same for her. Suddenly, Tzuyu realise what she just did and blush furiously. She literally just propose to the male without even knowing. “Let’s go for more rides,” Wooseok grab her hand and pull her to the next ride. They continue their fun and goes onto the roller-coster for the second time. Two ride and several game stall later, they stop in front of the haunted house train. “You did say you want to try it all. Come on,” Wooseok use their bracelets and get onto the ride. The whole ride is filled with screams as both of them got startled and scared by the fake ghosts. Tzuyu is crying when they came out of the haunted house. “Don’t cry! It’s over now! They are all fake,” Wooseok pull her out and hug her until she stop crying. “It’s scary,” “I know! I know! I’m sorry, okay! I’m really sorry,” he whispers. He her hair gently, waiting patiently for her to calm down. “Let’s go ride the Ferris Wheel now before we go home,” Wooseok mutter since it’s already night. The girl nodded and they walk hand in hand to the long line front of the last ride. “Here, you can wear my jacket. The night is cold,” she wore the jacket and smile at the scent. They were only supposed to act like a couple but it felt a little too real now to both of them. When they are finally inside the Ferris Wheel, they can’t help but to stare at each other. “Look, we can see the whole Seoul from here,” Wooseok points and she look out the window. It is 15 minutes ride but they relished every second of it. Tzuyu excuse herself to the toilet while her boyfriend wait outside with the cameraman. “What do you think of her?” “She is a fun girl to be with. I don’t know what else to say. I like being around her so much,” he replied. The two head home and reluctantly part.

It is Thursday when they planned to have their third date. This time they will be heading to the same place as all the other couples. They were asked to go shopping and spend the whole day together. The boys look at each other and sigh as they know it is going to be a long day while the girls are excited. It’s been a long time since they were able to go shopping together. They walk into the shopping mall and goes into a clothing section first. “This is really pretty,” Tzuyu scan through the articles of clothing. “Yes, it’s really pretty!” Dahyun agrees. “Oppa, which one look prettier?” the youngest turn to her boyfriend who just stood there. “This one!” he points at the cream one. “It look nicer to the eye and it would suit you really well,” he reasons. “Really?” “Why don’t you go try it on?” Mina suggest and she nod. She walk to the fitting room and try on both of the clothes. She tried on the pink one and show it to him. “It look nice on you,” the girl grin and goes in to try the other one. “This one look pretty too,” she came out with the cream one. “Yeah,” Wooseok look like he is lost in his thoughts the moment she came out. “But I like the pink one better,” those words came out without stopping. He snap out of his fantasy before breaking out a smile. “Then, pick that one. I’m not that good with girl’s fashion. Anything that made you feel pretty,” Wooseok smile. He wants to say that she look so much better with the cream blouse but hold his tongue. Tzuyu step back inside and change back to her original clothes. “I’ll take the cream one,” she said to the store worker. “You didn’t buy the pink one?” “No, I prefer the cream one look on me,” after they bought the outfits for their last date next week, they stopped at the bikini and swimsuit store. “We’ll be at the food court upstairs,” Jaebum suggest, wanting to give them some privacy. “Besides, Wonwoo aren’t feeling so well!” Junghan utter. With all the boys gone, the TWICE members goes all insane with buying their swimsuits. “This one will suit you a lot, Momo,” Sana pull out a y bikini set. “It’s y,” Mina chuckles. The store workers is busy trying to help them find suitable swimsuits for their next dates. Meanwhile, the boys were gobbling down their food at the food court. “It’s been almost an hour and a half since we left them down there,” Jinyoung look at his watch. “What the hell are they doing?” Mingyu groan. The 9 of them are bored beyond comprehension. After waiting for another hour, they finally left the food court and head to the arcade. They decided to waste their time there while waiting, even competing against each other. Anything to keep them away from being bored. After nearly two hours in there, the girls finally arrive at the arcade. “What are you guys doing? Come on, we’re hungry!” Nayeon whine. They grab their boyfriends out and back to the food court. They accompany them to eat as they only order plain water. After eating, they continue to shop. “I want to get a couple item,” Tzuyu state when they walk around in the couple store. “How about that one?” Wooseok points at the clothing store right across the store. “Let’s go!” he pull her out and into the clothing store. The boy pull out the varsity hanging on the wall. “Do you have a smaller size for this one?” she asked to the store owner who nodded. “We specialise in custom made clothing. Would you like to add any decoration to the varsity?” the man asked and the two look at each other before nodding. “Come this way,” he lead them to the counter to choose the design. After spending a good 10 minutes of discussing the design, the two agree with the final result. “I will contact you when it is finish,” they leave the store with a big smile. The varsity is done within three days and Wooseok goes to pick it up. So far, the audience of the show adore all 9 couples but one stick out in particular. They named the couple WooTzu and they are the craze that took South Korea by storm. Even the netizens compliment how compatible the two are. The female audience also envy how romantic and sweet the rookie idol is with Tzuyu.

It’s finally the day they have been waiting for. It’s the last day of filming. The TWICE members arrives right after the boys arrived. They walk in and goes separate way to change their clothes. They hang out at the same area at first, swimming and playing around. “Come on, Tzuyu! Come on in! It’s not that deep,” Chaeyong persuade, pulling onto her friend. “No, I’m scared…” the maknae shook her head, holding onto anything just so she wouldn’t fall in. She is sitting on the stairs that led into the pool. “Oppa, let’s go to the water slides,” Jeonghyeon persuades, pointing at the tall structure. “Let’s go!” Junghan pull her out of the water followed by the others. “Yuyu?” Wooseok swam towards her. It her nickname that she requested he used when they are together. “Get in the water with me,” he hold out his hand. “But what if I drown?” she reasons. “You won’t drown. I’m here with you. The lifeguards are also around to save you if you ever do,” she look around and spotted the red cap lifeguards patrolling. The girl turn back to him and took his hand. “Promise you won’t let go?” she asked. “Never,” Wooseok smile and Tzuyu slowly climb down the stairs. She wrapped her arms around neck, too scared to even let go. “Do you believe me?” she nodded. “Then, close your eyes and  put your feet on mine,” she do as instructed. Slowly, the elder begin moving to the deeper side of the pool. She clings onto her boyfriend’s neck, gasping when she felt the water reaches her neck. It is only chest deep to him. “It’s okay! You’re doing great!” he assures. “I’m scared,” she mutter, her phobia of water is overpowering her. “You don’t have to be scared. I’m here,” slowly she open her eyes and look around. Normally she would panic but with Wooseok’s arms securely wrapped around her waist, she feel almost relieve. “Does it seem scary,” she shook her head. She pull her right arm and smile as she splash the water around. “Give me your hands,” Wooseok hold her hands and step back a little. “No…” “I’m not going to let go. I’m just going to turn us around,” he slowly reverse their position. “Let’s swim to the shallow part, okay?” Tzuyu nodded with a smile. She wiggle her legs and the boy slowly pull her. “How does that feel?” “It is fun. I want to swim more,” the elder grin at the request. “Come on then,” he pull her around the pool, even going deeper without her noticing. The cameraman record everything and he coo at their cuteness. As time passes, she gain more confidence and let go of his hand. She manage to swim to the deep end and back without panicking at all. “You did it!” “I did it,” both of them cheers. “Shall we go try some waterslides?” the two get out of the pool and walk to the waterpark attractions. Despite overcoming her phobia of water, Tzuyu still insisted that Wooseok to be there with her. “Hold my hands,” she demands as they sat on the slide togethers. She felt her fear creeping around and she felt extremely nervous. “I’m holding! I’m holding,” he grab her hand and wrap his other arms around her waist. “Ready?” the slide crew asked and he nodded. “Take off!” the two slide down the main attraction of the parks with a scream of excitement. Her unnies are also glad to see her able to have fun too. They took short breaks to eat before continuing.

It's dusk when they return to the hotel to get ready for the night. They sports the outfit that they have personally chosen and split up to go the venue of their choice. “Where are we going?” Tzuyu asked as they walk holding hands into the park. “A moonlit dinner,” he lead her to the lifeguard watchtower where they can see the view of the whole park. “It’s beautiful,” she sit down. Homemade meals are served in front of them. “Did you cook this?” “Yes, I’m not that good but I tried my best,” he grins. “It’s a little salty,” she commented. “Sorry,” “But it taste delicious. Thank you for doing this for me,” he smile brightly at that. They fed at each other and steal several glances as if this is their first meeting. Tzuyu laugh as they reminisce the funny things that happen today and in their past. “You look beautiful today. I like the way the cream blouse compliment your skin,” he utter. “Thank you. You look pretty good yourself,” she return the compliment. After finishing dinner, the boy got up on his feet and music started to come out from the speaker. “I have to do something special so care to dance?” he held out his hand for her to take. She complied but instead of just pulling her up, he brought her hand to his lips and place a gentle kiss upon it. Tzuyu felt her face flush warm and the hairs on her neck stands. Something flutter in her stomach but it is not an unpleasant feelings. The two link hands and began ballroom dancing to the music. “You are good at ballroom,” “You are better,” they compliment each other. They stare at each other and Wooseok swore he saw a halo floating on her head as they slow dance. When their eyes met, it is like he can see the galaxies instead of just pupils. “Gosh, you’re stunning!” he whispers. “Thank you,” they indulge in each other’s presence. There was something in his eyes that is beautiful, so safe and warm. In just one look she’s home. It was like God himself arranged it. She doesn’t want to remember their fate at the end of the night because right now, she is allowed to be in love with him. They are allowed to fall in love and there will be no one who can stop them. Right now they are not idols, he is not Jung Woo Seok of Pentagon and she is not Chou Tzu Yu of TWICE. Right now, they are just a boy and a girl who finally found love. “I believe that each of us deserve a chance in love. I know it sound silly that there’s someone out there for everyone but I believe that truly. My hyungs say there’s no such thing as true love, that it all ends in heartbreak and pain but I think that’s the beauty of it. To have something so perfect for such a short while, and the for it to disappear into nothing. You never know where it will take you. That’s the thing about love, it’s so beautiful and mysterious and magical. There’s something in her that ache at the mere thought of walking away. This is what falling in love feels like, she thought to herself. A story that she never wanted to end. For so long, she have longed for it and now that it is within her grasp, she can’t bare to lose it-lose the thing that made her feel completed. “I have one more surprised for you,” Wooseok mutter softly. “What is it? I don’t think I can be more surprised than this,” she asked and right at that moment, a firework explode in the sky. The girl look up and more fireworks fly up to the sky before exploding into the most beautiful pattern of light. She momentarily forgot about their inevitable goodbyes as she watch the beautiful scene. They sat on a bench and watch the fireworks show with a big smile on their face. Tzuyu remember what her mother said when she call her earlier. She said that he was a ‘diamond in the rough’ and she knew what she meant. But to her, Wooseok is simply a diamond. The rest of the world could be as rough as it desire but it never effected him, he shone with inner beauty all the same. It’s part of the reason why she fell in love with him, that sparkle that nothing and nobody could ever take. “I love you, Wooseok-shi!” she mutter in mandarin and he turn to her with a knowing smile. “And back at you, Yuyu,” he whispers back. Once the show ended, the two headed back to the van but Tzuyu’s legs hurts too much from dancing in heels so he lift her up, bridal style. The ride back was short as none of them wants to let go so they held hands. The show ended with the idols final thoughts and the rating is higher than they have expected. The members relationships ended right after the show ended and the audience were beyond satisfied. The show manage to tell the audience that their idols are humans too.

However, the craze for WooTzu couple haven’t dies down. It went to the point that they were featured in entertainment news as the number one search engine. The two look so good together and their so called ‘acting’ seems too real. It didn’t help that Tzuyu is seen still wearing the ring that Wooseok gave her during the show and so does the other way around. Both of them also spotted wearing identical varsity that they bought during the show too. Tzuyu varsity have ‘JWS’ embroided on the back with the Korean spelling for her name on the left chest while Wooseok have ‘CTY’ embroided on the back of his varsity with the Chinese spelling for his name on the chest of the varsity. A netizens explain that it might be to symbolise each other as the two are from two different nations. Many of them speculates that the two ended up dating after the show but both JYP and CUBE denies it by saying the two remain their relationship as friends though none of them are not buying it. TWICE have a comeback so they are busy with dance practise. “Alright, an hour rest!” the dance teacher yells out. All 9 of them collapse in exhaustion as stress began to affect their focus. They want this comeback to be more successful than the last so they push past their limit. After gathering enough energy to walk, they scatter to call home. They need some comfort, somebody to assure them that they are doing the right thing. Tzuyu call her mother and her older brother. They talk for 10 minutes before she hung up. However she still feel awful. Her thumb linger on Wooseok’s contact number but she knew that he is busy with his promotion. Her snapchat notification flick and it’s from him. It’s a picture of her varsity with the caption ‘good luck for your comeback,” strangely that made her happy. They accidently swap varsity the last time they met. 5 hours later, they were release to go home and rest before repeating the brutal cycle the next day. She pull the varsity out of her bag and wrap it around her. It smell like him and it made her feel like he is there with her.  That comfort her worried heart and made her feel peaceful. Two weeks later, they goes to Show Champion for their comeback stage. Things weren’t good at all as she keep messing up the steps. Their practise recording look really bad.  Her unnies tried to comfort her as they were called for the final recording. “It’s okay! We are going to do just fine,” Momo whisper as they get ready backstage. The maknae take a deep breath and tried to keep herself compose. Dozens of negatives thoughts flooded her mind. “Yuyu, fighting! TWICE fighting!” she turn to see Wooseok stepping onto the stage. They met eyes and when he smile, it feel like her worries started to fade. She slightly chuckles at that. “Silly…” she whisper. Pentagon began shooting their final stage and they dance like it’s their debut stage. “TWICE, get ready!” the crew yells as soon as the boy group finish their performance. Tzuyu walk up to Wooseok and hug him. She needed this, craved for his touch to sooth her anxiety. “You’ll do great, I’m sure!” the male assures. “You are Chou Tzu Yu after all and you can do anything that your heart desire,” he continues. “Come on, Tzuyu!” Jihyo calls from the stage. She pull away, feeling so much better. “Stay…” Wooseok bit his lips and look at his hyungs who is waiting for him. He wants to go and sleep for a while, something that his body desperately needed. “I will,” he promise and so he stayed, watching their performance. Yes, he is weak for Tzuyu. “Wooseok…” Hui was about to drag his maknae back to the changing room when he saw it. Wooseok is smiling as he hum to the song. There was something about the way he smiled; the way butterflies seemed to escape from the pit of his stomach and the way the sun had somehow toppled down from the sky and made a home right there in his heart. Not wanting to stop his smile, he left him there. The crew were beyond satisfied at TWICE’s perfect performance as the host got on stage with all the other idols gathering for the end stage. TWICE won first place and their fans cheer loudly. Wooseok walk up to them to give them the bouquet of flowers as they gave their winning speech before leaving. He is late for a schedule. The scene of their hugs were caught on camera by accident and release to the world. WooTzu shipper went lunatic as their speculation of them dating grow stronger. It is even mention in a newly release drama. In the drama, the main characters were joking about the two dated in secret.

Both of their agency still deny the allegation and firmly set their relationship as close friend. But close friends wouldn’t look at each other like they’re the most amazing thing in the world. Close friends doesn’t spend every moment together like they would die without the other’s presence. Anyone with eyes and common sense would say that they are in love because they are. They are the true definition of a match made in heaven, it’s like god himself arrange for meeting and created them just to be with each other. “Tzuyu, it’s okay to admit that you love him. You just need to tell me and I’ll confirm all the rumours,” President Park utter. “Yes! You two don’t have to date in secret anymore,” President Hong agrees. The two have organized a meeting to solve the current problem. “I don’t mind dating openly, sir, but I have to think about Oppa too. What happen to his group when Hyuna sunbae’s rumour were confirm still haunts them. It almost tear their group apart and I don’t want that to happen again,” Tzuyu calmly reject the idea of going open. “Yes! We are the youngest of the two group so we can’t be selfish. Our happiness means nothing if we can’t see them be happy,” the girl nodded. “They have taken good care of us over the years so to announce this just so we can love freely is too selfish. They have sacrifice their love for music before so we’re doing the same. We’ll announce it when we’re ready but for now, we’re best friend for all the world should know,” the two smile at each other. “How can your love be so pure, unselfish and undemanding?” President Hong asked. “Besides, life is more fun this way. The concept of dating in secrets and forbidden love made it much more exciting,” both of them giggles. “Okay then. As long as you two are happy,” the two presidents sigh. “So brilliant…Tzuyu, what made you love him?” President Park turn to her. “He made me question every promise I made to myself. He made me open up when I didn’t want to let myself in. He help me to breathe when I didn’t want to anymore and he help me see that it’s okay to fall in love... Sir, he took my breathes away and life seem to make sense when he’s around,” she smile to herself. “Wooseok?” “I don’t know…I just do,” that answer almost made them speechless.  “Do I need a reason to though. Oh …I have to go now since I’m running late for a schedule,” the boy bow and got up. “I’ll text you later,” he gave her a kiss before leaving. It was just a kiss, not even a kiss on the lips. It’s rather a simple kiss on the cheek, but it was one that made her heart beat a million miles an hour; one that made her knees goes weak; one that made her brain freeze. In that moment she realised how deep she have fallen. “A lot of the other agencies likes to use dating scandal as something to create instant fame for their idol. We don’t want that. Your sunbae’s dating scandal were quick to disappear because they are not really in love. They mistaken lust with love since being an idol deprive them of love. It’s just their heart searching for something to love. You two are different. We know true love when we see them,” after that, Tzuyu is excuse. She return back to her dorm where she is interrogated. “So, what did he say? Did he told you to break up with Wooseok?” Jeonghyeon questions. “Break up? What do you mean? I’m not dating him. We’re just friends. President Park just wanted me to confirm that so he can dismiss the allegation in future,” she chuckles. “But you two seem so…” “Close? He take good care of me during the show and I like being around him. He is like my Oppa already,” Tzuyu manage to convince her unnies about it. She have to lie to them for now but one day, she'll let the world knew.
