While Eunseo was still in the operation room, the criminal has been arrested by the police.

Meiqi and Luda, as well as several witnesses, have completed their testimonies. The only step left was to wait Eunseo regain her consciousness back. 

Even though the knife piercing into Eunseo was small in size, the blade was quite long.

Maybe due to Eunseo's usual kind deeds, she was blessed with a good karma as a return. She was not deeply stabbed and did not hurt any important body parts. It was a fortunate the criminal did not pull out the knife, nor anyone else who helped her during the outbreak of the accident. Therefore, the bleeding was controllable. Her liver suffered minor injuries but doctors managed to stop the bleeding during the operation. Moreover, Eunseo is young and physically fit, so full and fast recovery was expected.

It was an entire anesthesia to undergo the surgery and quite an amount of blood inside the body was replaced after all, Eunseo only woke up a few hours after the operation succeeded. By the time, Meiqi and Luda have changed their clothes, no longer looked that terrifying.

During the period Eunseo remained unconscious, Seola stayed beside her all the time. But when she noticed that Eunseo's eyelid was moving, she let go the hand holding on Eunseo and immediately left the seat to stand behind Meiqi and Luda.

Meiqi looked at Seola strangely, wondering what she was doing until Luda asked, "You awake? How do you feel?"

"I'm fine."

"Sorry, if it isn't because of me, you won't get hurt..." Luda felt sorry and blamed herself.

"No, it's my fault. If only I didn't stop chasing them..." Meiqi was sure if she did not stop, she could have prevented everything from happening.

Eunseo felt thirsty, she could not hold and coughed for several times when she wanted to reply. Seola was tactful to notice that and immediately poured a glass of water. She even put a straw so that Eunseo could drink without sitting up.

Eunseo looked at her, hesitated for a moment and finally accepted her intention. She drank a few sips of water before Seola put down the cup. Then she slowly said with a smile, "I'm fine, like what you said, it's fine as long as I didn't die."

"No! Don't talk nonsense!" Meiqi furrowed, took a glance at Seola who stood aside and remained silent after knowing the entire ins and outs. "Eunseo, take a rest first. I'll go to your house with Luda to bring your changing clothes and some daily necessities. Give me the keys."

Eunseo nodded. Meiqi took the keys from Eunseo's bag, hold Luda's hand and walked out the ward.

The room was arranged by Seola. It was private so no one can disturb when Eunseo was recuperating and it would be the best for her recovery.

Eunseo stared at Seola, finding the sky was dark. She endured the pain and discomfort at her abdomen, slowly opened , "It must be Meiqi who called you. I'm sorry to trouble you. I don't think I sleep that long, it's not weekend now I guess? I'm alright. You have to work tomorrow. You may go back now."

Too considerate, too polite. Seola pursed her lips, locked her sight at Eunseo's eyes. She has a lot to say but she did not know where to start.

"I'm really fine." Eunseo emphasized again.

"I'm fine, I'm okay. I'm alright. You always say so even when you're not good!" Eunseo's reply seemed to trigger Seola. "Why can't you just say you're not fine? If it hurts, say it hurts! If you're tired, admit you're tired! If you're unhappy, just tell everyone you're not happy! Why do you have to keep saying you're fine? Why can't you treat yourself better like how well you treat others? You deserve better than anyone else. You don't have to always push yourself so hard and aggravate yourself! If you're not feeling good, don't keep it all to yourself. Speak it out! You're upset, let people know! You feel wronged, tell them! You know I'm a dumb, I won't know if you never spilt anything to me! I just want you to be healthy, happy, carefree! Just like how you used to be back then! I don't want to see you holding on every emotion, keeping everything to yourself and suffering alone! Do you know how terrified I was seeing Meiqi and Luda with those blood stain? I don't know what's going on in the emergency room but do you know how horrified I was watching you in that bloody state!? I don't mind if you don't want to see me, but you have to live well in this world! What should I do if you're no longer here? How could you be fine when you bleed so much!? How could you say you're okay if it hurts so much!?"

Almost like a series of hysterically roars and raps, without realizing, Seola was shedding tears once she stopped talking.

Eunseo was totally stunned as she has never seen Seola being this emotional before, so much that she could not respond at all.

"My phone..." Meiqi opened the door, seeing Seola gritting her teeth with tears falling down her cheecks, staring at Eunseo. "Sorry for interruping.. I forgot my phone..."

Seola noticed she has lost control of herself, quickly walked into the bathroom, closed the door to get ahold of herself.

Then she realized how trembling her hands were and how afraid she was, thinking that Eunseo would disappear forever.

She washed her face and looked at the mirror, she has calmed down a bit. Right, the most important thing is Eunseo being safe and sound, nothing else matters.

Meiqi placed her palm at her forehead, "Sorry, I came in at a wrong time..." She looked at the shut door and whispered to Eunseo in her ear, "I think she's really being sincere this time..I can tell it. In fact, she did come to our graduation exhibition. And, she's actually the one who helped you out from drinking too much, carried you back and took care of you. She didn't let me tell you about this. She rushed here as soon as she received my phone call too earlier. I can tell that her worried expression wasn't pretended. So, I think she has really changed."

Eunseo closed her eyes, "So it's really her that day..."

"Sorry, I should've told you earlier." Meiqi turned around and took her phone. She knocked on the washroom door before leaving, "Luda and I won't be back for the next two hours. You can have the time to talk with her."

Hearing the door closing sound, confirming Meiqi left, Seola tidied up her mood and attire. Then stepped out the washroom.

She stopped in front of Eunseo and apologized, "Sorry, you just woke up, I shouldn't yell at you.."

Eunseo twitched her lips, "This is the first time I hear you talk so much to me."

"Eunseo, I used to..."

"Kim Seola." Eunseo eyed down to interrupt Seola's words.

"Yes?" Seola straightened her body immediately.

Eunseo turned her head away, "Just leave, I don't want to see you."

Seola froze with opened, but could not think of anything to say. After a while, she lowered her voice and said, "I'm sorry, I'll call the doctor to take a look at you, then I'll leave."

Seola kept her words, she did not step into the ward after that. Once the doctor visited and done the inspection, Seola inquired Eunseo's condition outside the ward. After that, she sat on a bench outside the room.

At first she put the fault of Eunseo's injuries down to Meiqi and Luda, but after she heard that it was their timely first aid performance which greatly reduced the injuries, Seola knew she could not blame them at all.

The one she really should blame and hate after all, it was herself, not Meiqi, not Luda.

The fact that Eunseo did not want to see her, she should have known it was all her fault at the first place.

"Kim Seola!" Exy panting, rushing all the way from Busan to Seoul. The first thing after seeing Seola was pulling her up and trying to make her leave. "I saw Bona at the entrance, how could she reach so soon? You better leave now."

"I called her, she said she's filming in Fukuoka." Seola stood still, did not mean to leave at all.

"That's why I wonder how could she reach here almost the same time as me when she's in LA whereas I'm in Busan." Finding Seola remained motionless, Exy pushed her to make her leave. "Hurry up! Even if you're the one who informed her, you shouldn't let her see you. You know I can't stop her if she gets mad!"

Seola looked at the direction of the elevator and soullessly said, "Here she is."

Exy looked towards the same direction as Seola and sensed the upcoming rainstorm. Bona's face was much darker than the night outside.

Bona squinted at Exy and Seola, passing them by and was about to enter Eunseo's ward. Before she could do so, Seola reached out her arm and blocked her way, "She just fall asleep. The doctor said she will be more lethargic now because she just recovered from anesthetic and blood lost."

Bona shook off Seola's hand vigorously, grabbed Seola's collars in furious and pressed her against the wall roughly. Both Seola's head and back hit on the wall hardly, she was in pain but she did not evade nor fight back.

"Is this how you take care of my sister? Is this how you take care of Eunseo!? Did you forget what I've told you? Kim Seola, you should remember I warned you that if you ever hurt Eunseo, I won't spare you." Bona said in low tone but anger was sensed in every word, acting like an enraged beast with beaming reddening eyes.

"Stop it, Bona. This has nothing to do with Seola this time." Exy quickly mediated by trying to pull Bona away and distanced the two.

"Sorry." Seola ignored the signal Exy gave her, she bowed her head and apologized to Bona.

"Sorry? If apology works, how about I kill you now and say sorry to you?" Bona's breath was very close, the way she gritted her teeth tightly in Seola's ears, deeply branding into Seola's mind.

"Bona!" Exy's strength is incomparable with Bona's especially when she is in anger now. However, she was afraid that something worse would happen so she stepped in between Seola and Bona to separate them. "She broke up with Eunseo months ago. Seola can't take care of her anymore even if she wants so. It's really not her fault."

"They broke up?" Bona turned her head and glared at Exy.

"Yes ..." Exy swallowed nervously and explained timidly, "It was Eunseo who mentioned the breakup."

"Fine, so all of you hide this from me."

Bona pushed Seola away. Seola fell onto the ground. Exy quickly held her up.

Her most beloved sister kept the secret from her and was unwilling to share it with her. Maybe Eunseo did not want to worry her, or maybe because she was indirectly related with their breakup.

Bona took a deep breath, back facing the other two to adjust her emotions. "You shouldn't have promised her or gave her any hope from the beginning." Her tone was lower and calmer than before, but she clenched her fists tightly. Before stepping into the ward, she took a final glance at Seola, "I hate you."

Bona's words, "I hate you", lingered in Seola's ears. She was supposed to be distressed by those words. However, what really hurt her in contrast, was Eunseo's last words for her, "I don't want to see you."

Don't kiss if you are not sure of your feelings. Feelings can easily ruin a person. Just like how Seola destroyed Eunseo's feelings, but she only realized how wrong she was after so long.

She was overly obsessed with a rose that she could never obtain, but turned a blind eye to the acacia that has actually rooted deeply in her heart... Whom she actually loves the most from the bottom of her heart.
