Death. 

One of the biggest turning point of a human. It is inevitable. 

I remember my father once told me that we should cherish our moments with our loved ones because nothing is permanent. Now, I understand it. 

A thin and pale hand gently my arm take me back to the reality. My eyes lingers on her beautiful face, even though her sickness and the chemicals are draining her slowly. 

"Penny for your thoughts." 

I took her fragile hand and put it against my lips, the coldness from her skin is alreadt familiar with me. Being used to it and I really hope my warmth help her in any ways. 

"You are so beautiful, Yuju." 

Her thin lips curved and my heart never fails to flutters whenever she does that. 

"Thank you. I am lucky to have a friend like you."

Friend. 

That word left a bitter aftertaste on my chest. Of course, just a friend.
