Stormy rains are always unfortunate. Because despite being motivated to continue studying the notes, Kit felt damn sleepy.

The clock shows that it's a little past two at midnight. Kit was revising after the shower since he returned from the buffet hall.

Ming got back shortly after that.

He quickly showered and rushed to the bed.

He didn't even bother Kit or say anything.

Kit didn't question him anything as he was so focused on revising his notes, and he believed that Ming is alright despite the dispute with the drunken tourist.

"Two more chapters, Kittitian. Then we will hit the bed," Kit was encouraging himself from falling asleep, which was a complete failure. So he decided to make himself a mug of coffee before he seriously dozes off.

As he was making coffee, he heard some noise from their shared bedroom.

"P'San... Don't go...P'San, I'm sorry," he heard the faint voice of Ming mumbling in his sleep.

Ming was sweating on this odd cold night and was breathing heavily too. He had dried tears stained on his cheeks, and he continued to blabber in his sleep with his eyes closed, tightly like he was fighting the worst nightmare.

"Nong Ming........Ming, wake up, it's just a dream," Kit tried to wake him from his dream.

"P'San!!!!" exclaimed Ming as he woke up, alarmed.

Ming looked around him to recognize the surroundings and realize that it was the same nightmare again. The same dream which has been hunting him for more than half a year.

"I'm fine, P, it's just a nightmare," explained Ming as he wiped off the tear stains on his cheeks and tried to act normal but failed as he saw Kits' worried eyes.

"It's okay, P'Kit Kat, I'm alright," Ming tried to console Kit again.

"Are you trying to convince me? or yourself, Nong Ming?" asked Kit as he stares at him concernedly.

That question was a thunder strike on his head. Kits' question was what he is trying to avoid all this time, and this adorable senior has to ask him at the bizarre moment.

"I'm.....I.....," he doesn't know how to answer that question, so he stares back at the senior with no answers.

"If you're telling me that you're fine, then it's a lie because I can see the result in front of me. If you're trying to convince yourself, then you're doing yourself a huge betrayal. You could never move on if you keep lying to yourself," said Kit softly and calmly to make Ming not felt cornered. That's not what Kit wants Ming to feel right now.

"You want to talk about it?" he asked softly again.

Ming was sitting stationary without saying anything, which caused Kit to heave a long sigh.

"I'll be back," Kit left him alone as he walked out of the room.

Ming has no idea why he encounters troubles everywhere he goes. He has been behaving well these days, and all the things happening around him stress him out. Ming has no idea why that drunken tourist targetted him out of nowhere. He doesn't know why none of the bar workers stop the tourist as he tried to trash him.

The only thought in Ming's mind was to control himself and keep his promise to P'San. He doesn't want to let her down once again.

Rain was never his friend. All of his homework to avoid getting anxious on rainy days failed him once again when he was stressed. The promise to P'San and the dispute didn't do him any justice as well.

He is not even surprised by his nightmare in this case, but the worried eyes which woke him were a different story.

When Kit finally returned to the bedroom, he was carrying two mugs together with him.

"Drink this milk," ordered him as he handed one of the mugs to Ming.

Ming didn't drink it as he watched Kit with an unknown expression. P'San used to do the same. She will make him a cup of milk with honey whenever he has trouble sleeping due to heavy rain and will company him until he falls asleep.

The memories are so precious to him. When Kit does the same, it made him feel somehow weird. He couldn't recognize this new feeling he felt towards Kit. Oddly he felt happy.

"Don't just stare at it, milk has amino acid which induces sleep naturally, and it's good for health too. Drink it up," said Kit as he sips his coffee.

Ming just followed Kit's order and drank the milk in one go.

"You know what, Ming, sometimes the dream doesn't mean what we saw. Some say that a dream of being sad means that you are about to experience a positive change in the events of your life. They say that these dreams of sadness mean that good things are coming. If that's what you're worried about, don't worry too much," comforted Kit as he arranged his words carefully.

Kit still needs to continue his revision, but the sad-looking Ming wins against his mind to continue studying. He could spare him a few minutes, anyway.

"Come here," Kit made Ming lay down and cover him with the comforter as he also did the same. He pulled Ming into his embrace and started to sing a lullaby-like as he did with his nephew and nieces when their parents left them under his care.

Kit's sweet voice filled the room as he sang a lullaby known as The little star for Ming.

In between the song, Ming felt so calm and relaxed that he felt like dozing off and end up dozing off. It was the first time he slept in someone else's arms other than his P'San, but he felt so at ease and protected. It was like he could be himself in front of Kit and let his guard down, and Ming felt like he could trust Kit and rely on him.

When the song comes to an ending, Ming was fast asleep in Kit's arm. He looked so innocent when he sleeps with a pout on his lips. How Kit wishes this could be his forever.

Kit abandoned his plan to continue revising after making Ming sleep and joined him to sleep as well. Who knows when he will get a golden chance like this again?

That night both of them sleep in each other's warmth and had sweet dreams in their dreamlands.

During their stay in the hotel, or by hook or the crook of sleeping in each other's embrace,

both of them become close.

Kit and Ming started to exchange texts when they returned to their campus and lived their hectic schedule. A single morning text from either of them brightens their days to a different level.

Without realizing they both enjoyed each other's attention.

At university,

The crazy doctor gang had a whole week of quiz block as soon as they returned from the photoshoot by the beach, which made them quite busy. The boys even skipped the moon and star gatherings to focus on their studies.

They didn't get to meet at all due to them having a hectic schedules, and at the same time, Wayo and Ming were busy with their preparation for the competition. This weekend will decide all of their hard work. It will decide Ming's fate too, whether he will run 100 laps around the engineering field or not.

By the end of the week, the crazy doctor gang was exhausted. They used up all their energy to complete their quiz without any mistakes. Phana was at the top of the class, followed by Kit and Beam. They become the top three of their batch, which received praise from their professor aunty, I meant their anatomy professor.

"Gosh, I feel like dying," exclaimed Beam when they were at the entrance of their faculty to get back to their respective dorms.

"Same here. My head is going to explode soon," complained Phana.

"Your energy boosters are coming, meng," said Kit as he pointed towards Forth and Wayo. It looks like they're here to pick up their tired boyfriends.
