Chapter 6 

A Good Night’s Sleep

His mind was racing with so many thoughts at once he soon began feeling overwhelmed, but Mino just smiled and so he smiled too. 

    "What now?" he asked afraid he’d break the spell and wake up to find it had all been a dream. 

    "Now we sleep" Mino said while his smile grew wider closely followed by a yawn. It was already passed one in the morning and Mino was right, they should sleep.

How in the world was he supposed to sleep though? He looked from the clock, to Mino and back to the clock. 

    "I don’t think I can sleep" he admitted. 

    "How come?" Mino asked blinking sleepily up at him. 

    "I’m too happy and I don’t want to leave you to go to bed" he replied having decided that he might as well be completely honest given the craziness of the situation.   

    "Then let me join you" Mino said as if it was the simplest solution in the world. Seungyoon got no doubt in his mind that this must have been how many women must have been seduced in the past. 

Now he was the target of Mino’s charm and suddenly he knew what it was like really fearing an oncoming heartbreak. Because weren’t this the kind of scenario you'd hear about when people talked about the beginning of the end? It’s just too good to be true.

    "What do you say?" Mino asked sitting up a little on the sofa. 

    "Sure" he said and got up. Every kind of mental alarm he possessed was going off in his mind now, but he chose to ignore them all. 

Sometimes you had to risk a lot to gain a lot and even if it was his heart on the line was he willing to risk potential heartbreak even if there was a small chance that things would work out. 

They walked down the dark hall to his room and he tried to keep his nerves in check telling himself over and over they would just be sleeping. Surely they would just be sleeping? Right?

Mino watched Seungyoon wobble ahead of him down the hall to his bedroom. One part of him was asking himself what the hell he was doing, but the other was more than pleased. 

So what if Seungyoon was a man? Beautiful souls came in every gender and it so happened that he might just have found his favorite one right across the hall from his home. 

The cool air of the bedroom felt nice and made him even sleepier, for a moment he had wondered if he would be able to sleep after what just had happened, but something told him he would be fine. 

Pulling his shirt off he laid it neatly on a chair, same with his pants and socks. 

    "Want to borrow a shirt to sleep in?" Seungyoon asked already putting on pajamas pants. 

    "Sure" he replied sitting down on Seungyoon’s bed. It was a single person’s bed, so it would be pretty snug, but it was still better than the couch. 

He put on the plain white shirt Seungyoon handed him and it was a somewhat snug fit on him, but it smelled nice and so he was pleased. He rolled back on his back and put out one hand patting the mattress beside him indicating for Seungyoon to join him seeing as he was still standing beside the bed looking down at him. 

Seungyoon shook his head a little before sitting down on the edge of the bed. 

    "I’ll be asleep before you have even managed to lie down unless you hurry" he teased even though he was rather enjoying the silhouette of Seungyoon against the moonlight seeping into the room from the single window by the desk. 

    "I just want to kiss you good night before I go to sleep" he added feeling cheeky. It worked, Seungyoon laughed a little and laid down on the bed next to him. Resting his head on his arm without turning towards him. 

    "Who’d have thought you’d be such a smooth talker" Seungyoon said in a low voice. Now it was his turn to laugh. 

    "It’s the truth though" he replied turning slightly to the side waiting for Seungyoon to do the same. He didn’t, and so he reached out his free hand, the one Seungyoon weren’t resting his head on and lightly touched that razor sharp jaw that he had longed to touch for days now. 

    "I can’t kiss you if you keep staring up into the roof" he said guiding Seungyoon slowly to turn his head towards him by the gentle grip he had on his chin. Seungyoon didn’t resist his touch and soon they were looking into each others eyes in the moonlit bedroom. 

    "Feel free to kiss me then" Mino said, trying to not be too pushy he wanted to see what Seungyoon would do if left with a choice. 

He let go of Seungyoon’s chin and instead let his arm fall slowly to his side. He felt the warm, sweet breath of Seungyoon hit his face in small puffs and he couldn’t help but to think that even the way he was breathing was cute. 

    "Good night" Seungyoon said and for a second he thought Seungyoon really had taken the opportunity and bailed, but then out of the darkness he felt a cool gentle touch on his neck, moving up to cradle his jaw, pulling him slightly closer before those cushiony lips yet again pressed against his. 

He couldn’t help but to let out a small sigh, if it was from relief or maybe it was him melting away from the sweetness of the kiss he didn’t know. All he knew was that he was happy. The rest he could figure out later. 

When they broke away they only moved inches apart and deciding to keep his promise he pulled the covers over them both before wrapping his arm tightly around the still cold man now resting against his chest. 

Seungyoon awoke the next morning feeling surprisingly rested. In the end had he managed to fall asleep although he had spent quite a while worrying about if he snored or had any other sleeping habits he didn’t know about. But when he noticed Mino’s breathing change to a slower pace with the occasional low snore had he too finally managed to go to sleep. 

Sitting up in bed he wondered how bad his hair looked, but quickly decided not to worry about it after spotting the snoring Mino with his hair poking out in every direction. 

    "That is pretty cute" he mumbled to himself resisting the urge to touch Mino’s fluffy hair.  

    "What is?" Mino mumbled with eyes still closed. 

    "You are" he replied wondering where this sudden confidence came from. Maybe some of Mino’s had rubbed off on him during the night.

    "Stop calling yourself cute" Mino replied which made no sense. Thinking that Mino must be half asleep still he was just about to start explaining he felt Mino grab his hand pulling him back down onto the bed. 

    "It’s early, let's sleep more" Mino mumbled resting his head on the side of his shoulder while trying to pull the covers back over them. 

    "I got school and I don’t think the others are up yet. So I suggest we get up, unless you want to tell them you slept in here" he said feeling he was making a pretty decent argument.

    "Seunghoon probably already knows" Mino complained while rubbing his eyes with both hands. 

    "How could he?" he asked, but somehow he knew what Mino meant. Seunghoon just knew stuff. 

    "Let’s get up then" Mino groaned and sat up. He pushed himself back up again too and rolled out of bed quickly before deciding on an outfit. Usually he’d be wobbling about half asleep too, but the thought of explaining what had happened to his roommates so soon after it had happened made him anxious. 

Looking out into the hall he found the lights to still be off. Mino followed after him, struggling to button up his shirt. 

Mino dropped down onto the couch as soon as he had the lights in the living room probably deciding he was in no hurry to start his day. Seungyoon went to the bathroom and took a long stare at himself in the mirror. Nothing had changed about the way he looked although he felt very different. 

Returning to the living room he found Mino under a blanket on the couch, eyes closed. 

    "You sleeping?" he asked leaning down closer. 

    "No" Mino replied without opening his eyes. 

    "Want breakfast?" he asked. 

    "Sure" Mino replied, suddenly sitting up grabbing his hand in the process pulling him down closer until he was at eye level. 

    "I’m not your breakfast" he muttered into Mino’s ear who was so close he could feel his hot breath on his neck now. 

    "Oh I know, I just wanted to sneak in one more hug
