what are you showing me
Tomorrow When The Aliens ComeThe shock of your new state
Burned into my memory
And I really expected
To dream it again
To memorise it like I've done before
From past experience, repeating and repeating
Same thing, same dream
Same Bomi, same routine
But I didn't
Instead
I'm transported elsewhere
Falling asleep
To be greeted by a wall
As the first thing I see
Shocked, I stumble backwards
And land on my
On the hard and knobbly ground
Ow
Huh? What?
So I can feel pain
Feel pain in my dreams
That's weird, so weird
But "weird" isn't new
It's a staple with you
Gotta accept it, move on
And explore your view
I stand up and dust myself off
What a place!
It's barren, it's empty
As far as the eye can see
And looking up at the sky
Nighttime, stars abundant
The sight is honestly amazing
Just the wall blocks my view
The wall that hits high
Solid all the way through
The suspicion that tells me to climb over this wall
Is so strong
Like something important is on the other side
And that makes me uneasy
Just what are you showing me?
