Taeyeon's POV. "Sooyeon." I called just as she was about to enter the agency, she didn't turn however but halted probably to listen to what I had to say. "Time is gold, once it’s gone, you can’t get it back." I said with a smirk, she didn't say a word but turned slightly to look at me. "That's the reason I have to use mine wisely, I should be somewhere right now working my off, instead of having a meaningless conversation with someone I don't even know, because time is what I don't have." "You don't need to work your off, I've offered you the easiest way out, a chance to make it all better, but you'd rather be the that you are?" She didn't reply this time, she just left and didn't turn back. Shaking my head in annoyance, I head back inside. What a loser that woman is. "Just when I thought you've finally found what you wanted, you come strutting back in here looking like a wet kitten." Yuri remarked the moment I stepped back inside the room. "I was celebrating your success as the CEO of Kim empire, thinking you've already found your mysterious lady." She added. I dropped into a chair and buried my face in my hands. "Do me a favor, won’t you?" I asked feeling like a gum stuck to the sole of a shoe. Small and dirty and all things unnecessary. "Let's just go." "Why? what happened? Did you not find her?" I sighed. "And she doesn't want to marry me, she thinks I'm a spoiled rich sleaze, but in all honesty...I truly wanted to help her, her situation isn't any better, I thought she needs me more than I need her but it turns out she's got so much pride, what a loser." If it was any other time, I would have rolled my eyes, maybe even laughed if I'm in a particularly good mood. But now I just sighed, sniffled and looked down at the floor. I'm not quite sure what stinged more: that I was made a fool by my grandpa infront of all the employees at the Kim empire, or that I just got brutally rejected by a mere low classed ? I swallowed. Thinking deep, Me? A blind date with elite girls? Make attempts at flirting and get them interested in marriage? I rolled my eyes once more. "No need. Thing is, I’m not really interested in the whole falling in love . No time for that, Those elite girls would want commitment, and when it came to commitment, I want none of it. Rich girls were a complication I didn’t need or want, I want someone I can pay to marry me for a brief moment especially since I want to keep enjoying the many choices I have available." Yuri shrugged and weaved towards the door. “Suit yourself.” following her back with my eyes, something clicked in my head for a moment. "Yul," she turned. "On a second thought... Can you maybe set the blind date with someone ordinary? Like a chick in need? Someone I will have no complications with?" Yuri smirked. "Do you want girls from this kind of places?" "No," I said without a second thought. "They're rude and arrogant and thinks so highly of themselves. I wouldn't want to give my child that kind of a mother. Just someone beautiful, nice.... and shy. We're making so much noice at the back of my car, it was distracting and ing disgusting. I suddenly felt a hand snaking on my thigh, causing my gaze to shift from the road momentarily to the girl sitting beside me, then to where her hand rested. "Watch out." She screamed and I swiftly looked back at the road, there was a drunk woman in front of my car and I almost hit her, but thank God I wasn't speeding much and I was able to stop my car before it touches her. Holy crap. "What the , Taeng?" Yuri screamed. The impact of how abruptly and urgently I stopped the car must have scared the out of her. "Did I hit her?" I gazed at girl next to me for answers. My hands started shaking, I swallowed thickly unsure of what to expect. Shaking her head. "No, I don't think you did." She assured me. "Oh thank goodness." I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. "Where is she?" I asked no one in particular. "In front of your car, I think she fainted." She said and I got down the car to check on her. "Sooyeon?" I whispered squinting at the woman lying unconscious on the road. Oh my God! Of all the damn women in the world. Same brunette hair, same slender body, same fierceness even as she's unconscious, in front of my damn car is her, Sooyeon? What was she thinking? I almost hit her or probably killed her with my car. I sighed through gritted teeth. She's such a trouble maker, drunk and wandering? Hah! She's the most despicable I've ever seen, now who's the crazy one? "Need a hand buddy?" Yuri peeked from the window, the girl I was with...Lisa, coming down and joining me. "No thanks." I shouted just as Lisa stood beside me. "Is that not Jessica?" She asked. "She is," I said, wondering what she's doing here at this time of the night. "Help me carry her to the car." I glanced at Lisa, catching her nod. I dropped Yuri and the girls after giving the escorts a huge tip at my condo and decided to take Sooyeon to my uphill villa. She looked troubled and I don't know how close she was with her co workers, figured it'll be best if she wakes up alone.
