"taehyung ah... wake up bub..." jin was shaking taehyung softly to wake the younger one up

taehyung opened his eyes.. discomfort evident on his face...

"hyung..."

"since it's our day off today.. the members and i are thinking of going out .. " then jin noticed taehyung looking unwell "are you ok bub?" 

"i don't feel good hyung..." taehyung replied pulling the blankets to himself

jin touched his forehead " you are warm bub..let me check your temp..." jin opens the drawer beside taehyung and got a thermometer he knew was in there

"you have a fever... wait let me go tell the others to go ahead..i'm gonna stay to take care of you" as jin was about to stand taehyung held his arm

"you don't have to hyung.. you should go.. it's been awhile since we had a day off and i don't want you not enjoying the day just to take care of me" the younger said between coughs

"no bub.. you are more important.."

"no hyung.. please? plus i'm not a baby anymore.. i can manage... so please go? " taehyung smiled...

"alright.. but if you need anything call me right away? promise?" 

"yes hyung.. i will..."

jin stood up "i'll go quickly cook some soup for you and then prepare your medicine. please eat and take the meds ok?"

taehyung nodded.. he was thankful that he has someone like jin in his life.. that even though he is away from his own mom, someone is taking care of him like she does

the other members are getting ready in the living room...

"hyung.. what are you cooking? and where is tae?" jimin asked looking around

"he's probably asleep again.. he's sick .. fever and he's coughing so i'm cooking some soup he could eat later.. " jin replied as he tasted the soup "jimin ah can you go to the medicine cabinet and take some meds out for taehyung"

jimin nodded and went to get what was asked of him.. as he was walking back he bumped into joongkook

"are you sick hyung?" he asked the older looking at the meds in his hands

"no.. this is for taehyung.. jin hyung said he is sick" 

joongkook's face changed to a worried one and glanced at tae's room

"here hyung.. " jimin placed the meds on the table "so i guess he is not coming with us?"

"no.. i told him i'll stay with him but he told me to go with you guys...so i told him if he needs anythign or something happens he needs to call me right away...so don't even think about staying ..he won't like it.."

when everything was ready the members were informed of taehyung staying at home as he was sick.. the other hyungs were worried so they checked on tae only to be told that they should leave now and have fun and not to worry about him or else he will get mad now if they don't.

the members decided to go to the mall..disguised and all..

as they walk around and explore.. one certain maknae has been really quiet and uninterested.. his mind seemingly to not be where he is...

"you're worried?" hoseok asked as he matched joongkook's pace behind the others

kook looked at him and nodded.. he has been thinking about taehyung worriedly since they left..

"wanna go home?" the older asked 

kook looked at him again.. his eyes saying yes...all he wanted was to go and take care of tae

"go..i'll tell them" hoseok smiled

"komawo hyung" kook smiled and turned around..

as he walked away suga turned around

"going home?" yoongi said.. he wasn't mad the maknae didn't even say goodbye 

hoseok nodded.. 

"well i was wondering when will he ask to go..." namjoon chuckled "his mind was obviously not here with us"

the hyungs all chuckled and continued with their day.. less worried about taehyung knowing joongkook was on his way home

joongkook opened the door with one hand as his other was holding the bags of fruits and tea that he bought on his way home for taehyung...

he set the stuff on the kitchen table.. he noticed the soup is still there untouched and the medicine too..

he frowned and went to straight to taehyung's room...

as he opened the door he saw taehyung sleeping...

he moved closer and noticed the older looked very uncomfortable..

he touched his forehead and was shocked at how hot he was...

"hyung..." the maknae said gently shaking the older

taehyung tried to open his eyes but closed it again as he was feeling too weak

joongkook stood up and went to the kitcken.. he quickly heated the soup.. set it on a tray with water and them medicine and then he went back to taehyung's room

he placed the tray down "hyung.. you need to eat...so you can take your meds.." the maknae said as he assisted taehyung in to a sitting position

joongkook took the bowl of soup and scooped a little and started blowing on it.. when he thought it was ready his hand witht he spoon made it's way close to taehyung as if to feed him

taehyung felt his heart beat fast.. he knew he had a fever but he was sure he was blushing at the gesture

"i..i can feed myself kook..." he says taking the spoon and bowl from the maknae

joongkook probably realized what was happening and he smiled a little

taehyung ate the soup and joongkook then handed him the water and the meds..

"komawo kook-ah..." taehyung weakly smiled at the younger

"you're welcome hyung... how are you feeling now?" the maknae asked feeling his forehead once again

"better thanks to you.. but why are you here anyway? aren't you supposed to be with the hyungs?" tae tilted his head cutely

"i was worried about you..." joongkook whispered in  a very low voice that taehyung didn't even hear him

"what?" tae asked

"oh i got bored so i asked the hyungs if i can just come back home and maybe play some games or something" joongkook said "hyung you should lie down now and sleep some more"

"hmm.. i don't feel sleepy anymore.." tae responded

"do you wanna go watch a movie in the living room then?"

taehyung hummed and nodded in agreement... he stood up only to fall on joongkook's conveniently waiting arms

"hyung.." joongkook said obviously worried

"i'm ok kook.. i..i probably just stood up too fast " tae felt his cheeks blush as he quickly pulled away

the two walked to the living room, the younger vigilant just in case taehyung falls again or something

after taehyung sat down, joongkook handed him the remote "choose a movie hyung.. i'm just going to get some snacks" he smiled sweetly as he walked to the kitchen

as tae was browsing.. joongkook was preparing the fruits he bought earlier.. he also boiled some water to make tea for the older

when everything was ready he brought the food to where taehyung was and sat down beside him

"is a walk to remember ok kook?" tae asked looking at him

"yes hyung..."  he replied.. he picked up the cup and handed it to taehyung "drink this hyung.. it's honey citron tea.. this will help a little bit "

"thank you" tae said as he received the cup

joongkook settled in beside taehyung and they start watching the movie.. 

the two seemingly lost all the awkardness they have been having ... and probably also forgot about the world around them at that moment...

meanwhile in taehyung's bed.. his phone started buzzing and then stopping only to buzz again...

Missed Calls (10)

and the phone buzzes for the 11th time.. scree flashing "Bogumie"

after a long day the hyungs decided it was time to go home.. not to mention jin being a worry wart that tae and kook were not answering their phones even receiving a call from bogum asking about taehyung...

"it's a little too quiet..." yoongi said as they stepped into the apartment

namjoon was about to say something when jimin turned with this index finger by his lips telling them to be quiet and then pointing at the two sleeping figures on the sofa

the youngest members sleeping with kook's arms around taehyung  and taehyung snuggling comfortably on kook's chest.. how those two manage to fit comfortably in the sofa and not falling amazed the older ones..

the hyungs smiled and quietly walked to their rooms...

jimin once again took a blanket and put it over the two... smiling...

somehow the maknaes faces were peaceful unlike the last time he was standing at the same spot looking at them..

"hey..." yoongi said as he stood beside jimin

"isn't this a perfect picture hyung? they fit so well together..." jimin said

yoongi took his phone out and took a quick picture....

"come on..let's go so we don't wake them up..."

yoongi started walking away followed by jimin...

the two young once were left on their own agai

taehyung moved a little and snuggled closer.. kook's arms hugged him tighter.... just like jimin said.. they fit well together...
