days..weeks passed... and jimin still hasn't figure out how to  talk to taehyung to explain everything and to clear his name for reasons yoongi, namjoon and jin don't understand...

joongkook on the other hand can't seem still to make up his mind about confessing to taehyung...

unfortunately for the two, taehyung seems to be more and more occupied with bo-gum's presence in his life...

always texting and calling on their down time even when the bts boys are overseas, going out on days off and sometimes after hours... 

"where's tae hyung?" joongkook asked on one of those days, him and the rest of the boys are just hanging out in their living room tired as they just came back form a concert in LA

"out .. again..." jin answered as he rested his head on namjoon's lap

"and where did he go this time? we just came back from america... doesn't he need to rest?" the maknae says with a frown 

"movies with bo-gum.. something about catching up and stuff" hoseok says intentionally pushing joongkook's buttons "missed each other much?"

"he's always with him... if not with him, he is always talking to him... seriously ... tae hyung hasn't been sleeping on time even after a concert... this is too much... he doesn't even spend time with me anymore" now the maknae is throwing a tantrum

"kook you sound like a jealous boyfriend right now... are you?" jin asked jokingly

"ugh!" jongkook grunted and slammed the book he was holding on the coffee table and then he got up to leave

"and where are you going?" yoongi asked

"gym" he briefly answered and went to his room to pick up his gym bag and then left, slamming the door a little too loud if you ask

"what's his problem?" namjoon was the one who asked this time

"jealous" hoseok thoughtlessly said as he stuffed his mouth with the pastry jin prepared for their snack

"of what? don't tell me this is about taehyung and bogum" jin says

hoseok suddenly stopped mid chew and looked around.. s looking at him waiting for an answer... he continued to chew his food then swallowed it sighing after

"so? hoseok ..spill!!!" jin said probing "you know something don't you?"

"fine.. maybe you guys can help with kook's big problem..i'll tell you why he is throwing a tantrum like a child but please don't tell him i told you"

hoseok proceeded to tell them about joongkook's feelings for taehyung and how he's been restless since he doesn't know if he still should confess or not

next thing you know jimin was now holding his head right where jin, with his fast ninja moves had smacked him

"hyung that hurts!" the mochi ball said

"you see! now your problem just got bigger.. " the oldest hyung scolded " and you!" pointing at yoongi "you should have just stopped jimin right from the start!"

"i'm sorry ok? and don't blame yoongi hyung.. he did try to stop me but i just didn't listen" jimin pouted

"yah! what am i missing again?! what problem are you guys talking about? " hoseok asked this time with a confused face

jin proceeded to tell him the whole jimin thing.. namjoon and yoongi confessed the conversation with taehyung and now the rest of the members are in deep though about their two youngest

"i can't believe this..." hoseok said shaking his head "those two are as stubborn as a mule and now they are in this situation... jiminah you need to tell taehyung already...joongkook is ready to rip his own hair off being all jealous and stuff"

"i will..i promise... i'm gonna talk to taehyung.. just keep convincing joongkook to confess already"

and soon the members agreed to help those two confess to eachother as they can still see a little hope in their situation..

later that night taehyung came home and the dorm was silent.. 

"maybe they are sleeping already" he thought as he quietly closed the door behind him makins sure not to make any sound

"tae?" a voice called startling taehyung

"jesus chim.. don't scare me like that... i thought everyone is asleep already"

he proceeded to remove his shoes and walks over to where jimin is sitting in their living room

"why are you still awake?" he asked his bestfriend

"waiting for you... we need to talk..." jimin answered.. voice a little shaky

"what's wrong? are you ok? are you hurt somewhere?" tae asked worriedly

"no.. it's just...i'm sorry tae... i didn't mean to..." jimin says as he held the other's hand

"what do you mean?" tae asked confused

"i finally figured out your feelings for joongkook and yoongi hyung confirmed it..."

but before jimin could continue he felt taehyung stiffen.. his hand clenching into a fist

"so you know..." he said "chim.. it's fine.. if you and kook are together ..i'm ok with it.. you are my bestfriend and i'm not going to let a man come between us..."

"but...it's not like that tae..there is nothing between me and kook" jimin started to explain "i thought that if i made you jealous enough you will burst and confess but i forgot how kind hearted you are.. that you always put us first than your own feelings...and i'm so stupid..."

"chim...how could you? i.. i boxed my feelings thinking that .. that you and kook..." taehyung's tears started to fall "i distracted myself with bo-gumie hyung, who was there and had confessed to me.. that he doesn't care that i liked kook..."

"i know.. and i'm sorry, i really am.. but it's not too late tae.. maybe kook will like you back...just confess to him..." jimin said as he hugged the other

"it's too late chim..." taehyung mumbled but loud enough for jimin to hear

"what do you mean?" 

"i... bo-gumie hyung and i...we..." taehyung paused... breathing deeply then sighing..."we made it official"

jimin was speechless.. this wasn't suppose to happen... and at this moment his eyes suddenly went wide as a realization hit him.. joongkook was standing in the hallway...fist clenched.. tears in his eyes...

the maknae turned around and walked to hoseok and jimin's room... he laid down and hugged his hyung who woke up from the sudden weight in his side.. he felt an arm around him and then quiet sniffles were heard..

"kook? are you ok?" the older asked

joongkook shook his head...and continued to sob quietly...

"tell me.. what's going on kook please?" the older one begged lifting joongkook's head up so he can see

the maknae's face was wet from the tears.. his eyes red....and so lonely...

"i..i heard jimin and tae hyungs talking in the living room... tae said he and bogum hyung made it official...." and the crying continued

hoseok felt bad and hugged his maknae tight... rubbing circles in his back trying to calm him...

meanwhile in the living room...

"tae.. do you love him?" jimin asked

taehyung is now lying in jimin's lap

"i like him hyung..." tae answers

"but do you love him?"

"i will try to love him...."

"tae" jimin called his name as he makes tae look at him " if you don't love him... and you still love kook.. this is unfair to bogum hyung...you will just hurt him"

"but if i break up with him.. it will also hurt him... he has done so much for me and i just can't... i'll get over my feelings for kook soon...i could have if done it sooner if you didn't have to tell me all these now..."

"tae.. i made a mistake.. and i'm sorry it made everything more complicated... but you love kook and i know in my heart he is the one for you..so please..."

"i forgive you.. because i love you... but i can't hurt bogum hyung like that..i'm sorry" taehyung got up "i'm gonna go sleep... we have a long day tomorrow for practice.. good night chim" and he walked away from his bestfriend and went into his room

jimin sat there for awhile... regretting what he did...he felt sorry for taehyung and joongkook... "you need to fix this stupid" he told himself...

Morning came and somehow the air in the household felt really heavy...

jin was worried that both joongkook and taehyung look like they didn't sleep well..

"are you two ok?" he asked the youngest members, the hyungs just looking and jimin playing with his food, his head down

"huh? yeah hyung ... i just can't sleep last night " taehyung lied.. and namjoon knows it as he woke up to taehyung's sniffles

"kook... are you sick?"  the oldest one nudged the maknae

"no hyung.. just tired" he responded weakly

jimin feeling really guilty still bit his lips.. he felt like he's about to cry seeing those two look like hell

"i'm gonna call manager hyung to ask for another day off today... everybody is tired and the maknaes looks sick" namjoon said pulling his phone out

and as the maknaes were about to protest namjoon shut them down "no ifs ands or buts.. i'm calling and that's final" he left the table to go to the living room to make his phone call

"in that case i'm going back to bed" joongkook stood up and didn't even look at his hyungs and just walked to his room

"me too" taehyung said leaving

 "ok manager hyung said it's ok.. got permission from bang pd-nim already..." namjoon said as he sat back on his seat

once they were sure that taehyung was in the room...

"jimin ah" yoongi called for the younger...

jimin looked up and suddenly he starts balling ...

"what's wrong?" yoongi asked holding on to the younger

"this is so my fault...i can't ...bogum and tae are official..  even after i told tae about evereything he still said he is sticking with his boyfriend because he can't hurt him like that.. and joongkook heard us last night....and he was crying when i saw him...i don't know what to do... i'm sorry hyungs.. i'm so sorry"

the hyungs sighed...

"so this is why suddenly i had a visitor late last night mumbling how they made it official and proceeded to soak my shirt with tears " hoseok said

"so what now?" jin asked

"i don't know hyung...tae has decided.... as for kook ...we can only be there to support him..." namjoon replied

and suddenly they are all quiet.... they really can't do anything and they agreed to stop meddling... it's what got them in this situation in the first place
