Description
In the midst of piling allegations and police investigations, the management had decided to cancel every appearance BLACKPINK was set to make in the months to come, which included their comeback. Seeing as the company's recovery would be unlikely in only a short amount of time, it was wiser to put the group under an indefinite hiatus rather than risk the group's career and what was left of YG Entertainment for their new album. The decision had disappointed fans, and the members were especially dismayed. However, there was no other solution. Because of this, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa had each returned to their respective hometowns to reflect on the life they had had insofar and ask themselves if the iniquity was still worth the fame and success they would receive.

Hello, this is DeathMetalUnicorn.
As you probably know, the K-pop community has been shaken by the news of this heinous crime committed by some of the industry's most recognizable male celebrities, one of which is BLACKPINK's senior, Seungri. It is very disappointing to know that an idol, someone as Seungri whose talents and personality we have all admired, would be capable of ignoring and staying mum on the mistreatment his colleagues were doing toward women. Who knows, he might have done the same thing. He did say he would bring in es. Although I am not surprised that acts like this existed in K-pop, I am quite taken aback that Seungri had the moral sense to tolerate the misdeamenors happening around him. Unbelievable. This is the same guy we saw around BLACKPINK. This is the same guy with a younger sister.
I do pray that justice will prevail despite the nature of judicial systems everywhere. I hope that the victims will receive the fairness that they have been deprived of and that these men will pay for their inhuman behaviors. In light of the investigations, I also would want Yang Hyun Suk to be taken in as an accomplice, if not a suspect, for what's happening. I read a lot of articles and it seems the CEO isn't as clean as he projects himself to be. Sure, this may drag a few good people along the way, but if it means a little restoration in the morality of Korean show business, if it means sacrificing the much-awaited BLACKPINK comeback, then waiting for the next EP is nothing compared to the bigger picture we will be getting. It is appalling that this is happening today, and I hope it will end soon.
The events that have transpired in the past month are my inspiration for this fanfic. I wish to be as accurate as I could with writing the perspective of the members, but no one knows what they're up to right now or if they're even up to anything. What we know is that they're safe and that the company has stepped up against defamatory rumors people are throwing against them. As for their future, we all know they can't have a US tour and a Coachella performance without new songs. There's surely a silver lining to this somewhere.
