Explosion

At that moment a deafening explosion was heard not far from us. The entire centuries-old building trembled as if preparing to collapse at any second. From a strong interval of crumbling I fell like a stone on the floor, instinctively grouping myself together and covering my ears with my hands.
I lay on the floor, tightly shutting my eyes, but the rumble and crackling overhead did not stop. Bombing? Does this world also have bombs and atomic weapons? I didn't want to die now but opening my eyes seemed like an impossible task. Where is Sehun? Is he okay? I was obliged to gather and help him but the deafening sound caused fear which clouded my mind.
Gathering all the willpower in me, I tried to open my eyes, as something heavy fell on me. I was already ready to say goodbye to my life, crushed by stones, but my consciousness did not leave me. Everything calmed down: the building stopped shaking, but the ringing in my ears did not recede.
“Are you okay?” I barely made out these words because of the state of my ears. They seemed to be stuffed with cotton which made it impossible to hear anything. Slowly opening my eyes, I saw that the heavy thing that had fallen on me was not a piece of the ceiling, as I expected, but Sehun, who was currently examining me for damage.
"Yes, but..." The words stuck in my throat as I looked up higher. There was a fresh wound on the guy's temple, from which blood trickled down to his chin, collecting in a drop. My eyes followed the crimson trickle of blood that swiftly drew a curved line across his face. I could not take my eyes off it, as if I was again under another hypnosis, but this time it was a shock. I woke up only after a drop abruptly fell off his chin and collided with my cheek. “Sehun…”
Frowning, the guy ran his hand up his cheek and hissed at the rough collision of his fingers with the wound. I tried to jerk his hand away, but Sehun stood up abruptly, wiping the blood off his cheek with his sleeve.
Suddenly I was blinded by a bright light, misleading me for a second. Maybe I died?.. However, looking up, I realized that the light was coming from a hole that had formed in the collapsed ceiling. Slowly looking around, I realized that large bars were lying around us, apparently some time ago, they were the ceiling.
“Come on.” Sehun caught my attention, heading towards the open door. Only now I was able to take a closer look at the guy: his whole shirt was torn in some places, and his back was in abrasions and scratches. Perhaps... He protected me from the collapsed ceiling? In a shocked state I also watched Sehun as he hurriedly walked to the door, taking out his walkie-talkie on the go. Getting up and following him on shaking legs, I heard his words. “Phoenix, it’s another attack. The Chosen One is safe. Phoenix?”
The radio that he held tightly in his hands made only a crackle. Phoenix was silent and the whole situation was even more frightening. However, the only thing that worried me at the moment was the bleeding wound on Sehun's temple. He should bandage his head but the pressing question is: how? Looking around our surroundings, the only option was formed in my clouded mind.
“Sehun.” My voice trembled, and my throat was unpleasantly dry, which made me sound quiet. The guy didn’t pay attention to me, looking around in search of a way out, which made me clear my throat, attracting his attention. “Sehun!”
“What?” He said displeased, turning to me, but the crackle of my dress made his face stretch in surprise. With my hands, I tore off a significant part of my dress, since it was already torn in places. Unfolding the fabric with the clean side, I stood on tiptoe and gently touched Sehun's temple.
“Your wound…” I diligently tried to wipe off the blood and bandage the wound with cloth, but with shaking hands and buzzing in my ears, it was not such an easy task. The guy himself stood motionless at first, looking thoughtfully into my face. Then he gently grabbed my hand and took away the already bloody cloth, throwing it aside. “Sehun…”
“I'm fine. Wait here.” He snapped uncompromisingly, proceeding to the stairs. Well, it seemed that the fabric slightly, but stopped the blood, so I was somewhat pleased. For a second I was taken aback, having missed the moment of the guy's disappearance. Fear pierced my brain: it was more dangerous to stay here without him than to go outside and see the potential danger. Without any hesitation, I hurriedly ran after Sehun. What's happening?
Trying not to trip over the pieces of walls and ceilings lying on the floor, I followed the retreating silhouette of the guy. The front door was ripped off its hinges by the blast, which made me even more horrified. How strong is the destruction outside?
A pungent smell of burned flesh hit my nose, causing the stomach to curl up into a knot, trying to throw out all the contents. Having overcome the empty doorway, real horror opened up in my eyes. The bodies of people were lying on the ground, twisted and burned. All the ground underfoot was burned, and the houses nearby were completely destroyed. Unable to withstand this horror, I looked up from the bodies and saw strange dents in the ground, as if from cannon strikes. Heartbreaking screams and the clang of metal reached us from all sides, making me shudder from everything that was happening…
“.” Sehun whispered that quietly, but I still heard him. Looking at him, I was surprised to see that he still remained calm. Not a single muscle on his face quivered and he still resembled a revived statue… The guy noticed that I was looking at him in mute shock. “I told you to wait for me. Go inside."
His voice sounded like metal, demanding immediate obedience. How
