Yongsun POV

Everything went like a blur. I couldn’t even sense the change. The day passed by like a flash. I couldn’t even comprehend what had happened.

Flashback beginning

“I am sorry.” – The woman with the orange-hair said

“Do I know you?” – Said the sitting woman

“Of course. Don’t try to trick us. We know all your stupid jokes and tricks.” – Wheein said with a grinning face

“I am sorry, but I really don’t know what you mean and how could you accuse me of my jokes being stupid? They are totally funny, and everybody likes them. But more importantly who are you three and how come you know my name? It’s a little bit creepy.” – Moon Byulyi said with a question mark on her head

“Are you kidding me? It’s not funny. Of course, we know you. I mean we are your friends or were your friends, ever since you left us everything was different and right now we can’t put a label on our friendship or whatever we have right now. You definitely know us. Come on Moonstar, we are your best friends.” – Hyejin said, even though she was smiling you still could see the sadness behind her eyes

“Moonstar? Just because my name literally means ‘Moon’ and ‘Star’ doesn’t give you the right to call me that. Not that I am trying to sound rude, but could you please leave me alone? I don’t know you guys and even though you are insisting on knowing me, doesn’t mean that it has to be right. You could also lie to me and say that you are my girlfriend and I still wouldn’t believe it. You don’t have proof and if you have please show it to me so that I can verify your statement.” – Byulyi said, with a stern voice and eyebrows crinkled up

“First of all, you don’t have to be so rude to my friend. Second, we do have proof, but not right now. We will definitely gonna show you, but not today. Maybe you could give us your number and we can arrange another time and place where we are gonna show you the truth?” – Yongsun, with determination in her eyes

“If that’s what you want, fine but know that I don’t have all the time in the world. And I am sorry, but I don’t have a phone number. Maybe we can agree on coming here again, maybe tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock?” – The orange-haired woman said, with a smile on her face, using very polite words and trying not to sound too harsh or irritated

“Who on this world doesn’t have a phone? On which planet or timeline are you living? But fine, the time should be fine.” – Hyejin

“Great. We will see each other tomorrow morning. Now if you would excuse me, I have some very important things to do.” – Byulyi

“Goodbye. See you tomorrow.” – Wheein said, with a very high-pitched voice sounding very excited

Flashback ending

I couldn’t believe it. Moon ing Byulyi didn’t even remember us. What, just after such a short time, has she forgotten all about us. She forgot us, our friendship, our time together, our relationship and more importantly our LOVE for each other. How dare she?! I was so frustrated. How could I be not? I mean she, our Moon Byulyi forgot about us, even though she said she would never forget us. What had happened since she went away? It was really not such a long time. It should be impossible to forget about your best friends. It really doesn’t make any sense. I should ask her about the things she did when she was absent.

After our short but heated encounter with Byulyi, we all drove back to my apartment and discussed what had happened. Wheein was excited yet upset. She was really jumpy and couldn’t stop talking, whereas Hyejin was just being frustrated. Frustrated about this whole situation. I could understand her. Moon Byulyi was not the same Moon Byulyi that we know of. She has changed and I don’t know for the better or worse.

The next day

Third person POV

Currently at the coffee-shop where the three girls waiting for their long-lost best friend. It was 9 o’clock sharp and there was not a single sign of Moon Byulyi. Maybe she is too busy? Maybe she had forgotten our meeting? Maybe she is just a little bit late? These were the thoughts of the three women. Every time the bell would ring, the three would glare at the person coming through the door. But forlorn, then the person coming through the door wasn’t Byulyi. Two hours later and the girls were still waiting for Byulyi. They were really desperate. Wheein already drank three coffees and ate two cakes, whilst the two other girls were still by their first cup of coffee. They waited and waited and waited, but there was still no hint of Byulyi showing up.

“I have had enough now! How dare she not to show up! That !” – Hyejin shouted with rage and fire in her eyes

“Calm down Hyejin. You never know what may have happened. Maybe she was in an accident or she was just too busy
